Aurora Veterinary Clinic

We took our pride and joy into this veterinarian. They we're great to deal with and very well spoken. I found the prices are very competitive with the other veterinarians in town. Their check up was very thorough and my cat was very clam in their examining room. They sent us out with pamphlets on how to clean our Cats teeth, the gave us thorough instructions and sent us on our way.

We had appointment for 4pm and they didn't get us in until 4:22 which is a long time for our pet to wait in their cage and it can cause a lot of unnecessary stress on your pet. Their parking at this complex in terrible, that's not their fault but I could foresee that being an issue if your pet is frequently going to this location.
We plan on bringing our Cat back, I hope next time our appointment will be on time!

I called the Aurora vet clinic as a last resort after my dog hurt her paw and I couldn’t get an appointment anywhere else. Although the pricing is a bit more expensive than other clinics, I have to say that the receptionist and techs were very polite and knowledgeable. It would have been nice to have actually spoken to the vet instead of the techs relaying information but I get that they’re busy. 5 stars for the service, 3 stars for the price!

Time for this little girl to get her puppy shots again. Nice staff. Clean place. Doc doesn't come out and see you though..

We had a great experience at this clinic. Its not our usual place, since ours couldn't do surgery after the flood, i called Aurora and they were very helpful and accommodating for us being new clients! My 13 year old yorkie needed dental surgery and they were able to get us in with only a few short weeks of wait (which was totally acceptable to me, especially being a new client) I had a few concerns, where our girl is older and she only weighs 6lbs, and when i called to talk to them about my concerns the receptionist was so nice and caring and really made me feel at ease. The day of the appointment, they were also great even though I was a nervous wreck. They called as soon as surgery was over, and kept her there on fluids to help her right til they closed. Then the next afternoon they called to check in!! So nice! Would recommend to anyone!

Just went to visit this clinic today with my pup. All the staff were very nice and helpful. I am not sure why this clinic doesn't have higher ratings. I did not at all feel that the vet was trying to make money off of me, in fact I felt that my bill was very fair and straightforward. We will definitely make this our primary vet.

Aurora has treated our 4 pets for five years and every experience that we’ve had has been over and above. They’re kind, compassionate and professional. They remember our pets and treat them so kindly. We are always able to get in within a day or two and prices are comparable to other Fort Mac vets. Even the dogs are happy to come here.

Never had an issue with getting an appointment. The ladies at the desk were always smiling, pleasant and super helpful. Vets were good. I had to take my very sick cat frequently, and they never got frustrated even though his situation was complicated. They were empathetic and helpful when I had to put him down, even sent me a card. Thank you for everything!

Absolutely love Aurora vet clinic. Extremely clean, with wonderful staff who truly care about my pets. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and do their best to accommodate you. I have had 3 dogs and a cat treated for basic care, plus one emergency which was handled with compassion and kindness. Highly recommend, Dr Powell is absolutely wonderful!

Best vet clinic in town hands down! Have been taking my pets to this clinic for years. Dr. Powell is nothing short of amazing. The moment you walk in through the doors, you are greeted with smiling faces. Very welcoming, knowledgeable, and all around great staff. My pets love coming to this clinic!

Have always had a good experience with this vet. My two huskies are are very active, and have always scene this vet clinic from the beginning. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Always care about the Pet first and are not the type to ensure paid before service is completed. Would highly recommend 💗

We have had nothing but quality care when bringing our animals to see Dr Powell and her staff at the Aurora Veterinary Clinic. We frequent the office quite a bit as one of our dogs has allergies that require long term management. Dr Powell is always very thorough and sensitive towards managing her comfort and care. I appreciate knowing when I go to the vet my animals are in a very clean and comfortable environment.

Staff are accommodating and usually able to fit you in without a short notice fee. Dr. Powell is a great doctor and knows her pets well. Nice clean facility. My cat loves coming here to see the all the girls.

Our dog was really sick a few days ago and aurora was able to get him in and stabilized. He needed IVs and a catheter and had to stay two nights. He was sent home with medicines and he seems to be doing well just in time for Christmas. Thank you beyond words for taking our boy in so sudden and helping him get better. It means the world to us. No complaints about cost. Every penny worth it to have him back home and on the mend. THANK YOU.

Fort mcmurrays only outstanding vet ! They always get me in for an appt as soon as possible, no crazy weight times. They know all of my pups by name, remember their problems. You can’t put a price on the small town hospitality here ! And there front desk staff are awesome to boot :) A1 service from me !
