Very friendly staff and they take care of patients with TLC. The hygienist Cammy is really nice and she is good in her craft. Doctor Brown is also one of the best dentist I have very professional and kind. 5 stars to the clinic and 5 stars for the staffs..

Had an amazing experience at this clinic.. very satisfied with everything, the receptionist is nice, the dental hygienist (Laina) is well knowledgeable was even surprised that they still do manual scalling because not everybody does that now a days. Love it! So I'm going back in 6 months for oral prophylaxis.. Highly recommended and by the way even Dr. Brown seems very accomodating so there's nothing to be scared of visiting a dental clinic :)

Dr. Yap is an absolute pro and the three hygienists I have seen all did an excellent job. Freezing technique is painless, efficient and effective and fillings are made to last. RCD had our back during the pandemic and the flood (even working out of the parking lot at one point). I am grateful to have access to this level of dental care and I have lived in Edmonton and Vancouver.

Alaina is great with my kids. They always look forward to seeing her on every visit. Dr. Helberg is awesome too. We love the Cavity Free wall they have. It helps the kids be motivated to be more mindful of their dental health/ oral hygiene. The free giveaway toys they have is a plus factor too right after the appointment. Our family love going there and it's been five years.

I see Alaina as my hygienist and she is fantastic! There is always a friendly ambiance in the office and I feel welcomed when I arrive for my appointment. The staff are polite and helpful.

Painless dentistry at its finest! River City Dental has never let me down. Dr. Yap is both kind and skilled and takes very good care of my dental health. My teeth have been cleaned by many different hygienists there over the years and they never shame me over my inconsistent flossing!

A wisdom tooth to pull out? I was terrified even at 58. My appointment with Dr. Carl M Yap was most enjoyable. The secretaries are very nice and Dr. Yap is really professional. Throughout my procedure, he reassured me and explained what he was doing.

I had no pain or bleeding. I recommend Dr. Yap and his clinic for all the excellent services offered.

I’ve been going to RCD for years. 25+ year resident of Fort McMurray who had many different dentists in that time and I can easily recommend Dr Helberg as the best. The office has the newest equipment such as laser for cavities/fillings that needs no freezing, crowns made on site that only require one visit for the treatment start to finish.
Definitely save time in the chair and while your there with personable, expert dentists, hygienists and assistants for the visit.

Can’t find my initial rating on the threads, so just re-posting and reiterating how truly fantastic this clinic really is. I want to personally thank our team and the patients who come in for making my day so great every time I walk into the clinic. Just a couple days ago, I received incredible treatment that has changed my smile delivered by Dr. Yap and his assistant Cammy. I am so nervous when it comes to needles but Dr. Yaps technique is so gentle and so quick, I didn’t know I was being frozen until I couldn’t feel my lips anymore! They worked quickly and efficiently to provide me with amazing bonding done to my upper front teeth. Dr. Yap is artistic and precise, and a warm soul. His experience as a DDS and his sense of humour will ensure a wonderful experience in our clinic. He books up quickly, and it’s no wonder why! I can’t thank him enough for enhancing my smile with his beautiful work. I also had my first routine hygiene appointment with our hygienist Alaina who delivered the best cleaning I’ve ever had. She is so sweet and very gentle while working diligently to keep her patients smiles bright and healthy! Dr. Helberg, Dr. Thibault and Dr. Brown along with the rest of our hygienists and assistants provide excellent care and treatment just the same, looking forward to helping book in the next appointment with my favourite front reception staff :)

Dr. Helberg is my favorite dentist!! I’ve been through a few previous bad experiences with other offices and yet River City Dental has made me feel happy to go to the dentist again. The staff are always happy, friendly and very helpful. 😊
