Surekha's On The Snye

My wife and I recently celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at Surekha's and we were both blown away with the delicious food, friendly service, and beautify atmosphere.
We've always been Keg date night people, but wanted to try something different. We absolutely loved every minute of it and can't wait for our next date night supper!
Big thanks to Chantelle, our waitress, for her service and recommending the Mahi Mahi special they had running. It was amazing!

A gem of a place with a great view of the waterfront. We arrived early to look around the park outside the restaurant, then went in for an astonishingly great meal and dessert. Fantastic tasty food and a wonderful atmosphere.
The only mark for me against them is the chairs are not that comfortable however I am special when it comes to seating.

5star food and service-best in town spot to enjoy a view of the river and a glass of wine. I brought 2 out of town colleagues here for dinner last night, we were sat on the patio with a view of the river. Our food was amazing from appies to dessert. I highly recommend the swordfish, as a main but all the dishes had beautiful presentation and flavour. Our server had great recommendation, she knew the menu and provided attentive and timely service with a sold out restaurant. If you haven’t tried dining here, you are missing out on a local gem

Wow what a gorgeous location! Loved the food. We arrived in a large group, the location did a great job planning this event with not much time to prepare. It was amazing food and the atmosphere was wonderful.

What an amazing experience!! Everything was perfect. The restaurant inside is beautiful and the dinner music was so soothing (we didn't touch our phones at all) our food was beyond our expectations. Full of flavourful and cooked right to perfection. If you are looking for a romantic or intimate setting this is the perfect place. Our server Mitchell was attentive and the sweetest. Thank you for an amazing first visit!

Food was great met the owner at the front desk a lovely person. WiFi is available. Great choice on the menu. Our table had different food and probably the best choice looked like the duck. I had the ribs. For starters the crispy chicken wings were great. The only slight concern was the gentleman in the restroom having a shave and brushing his teeth. He was pleasent enough.

My first time coming here was over Christmas time it was all decorated with big trees and sparkly lights. Quite pretty to look at, it went with the fantastic service and delicious food!  Staff were attentive and patient when we couldn't decide and offered great recommendations.
I had the Linguini Pescatore which was very very tasty, creamy and filling. It was a large serving that gave me enough leftovers for another meal. My date had cheese ravioli which he also thoroughly enjoyed.
For dessert we shared the Molten carrot lava cake. I was impressed that they shaved down the bottom of the grapes they plated with so they wouldn't roll away. The cake was lacking the classic flow of lava and the taste was okay. They put the effort into the presentation. Definitely a nice place to go for dinner.

I met a friend for supper before going to a musical event. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious and plated beautifully. The wine selection was excellent and very well priced! We shared a cheesecake or dessert. It was a little small but tasted delicious and the fresh berries were a nice addition. Other tables of guests were full of laughter and as I watched the food roll out I look forward to returning for another plate. Salmon - excellent - cesaer salad starter - homemade bits, dressing shaved parm.

Had been here for coffee before. Long overdue for trying for supper. Came for our anniversary. Was what we expected and more. Everything was excellent. Appetizers we had the scallops, 6 oysters (split half fresh and half baked), and caviar. Mains; steak and swordfish. Dessert the lemon lavendar cheesecake and carrots cake The Caesar was great. And so was the coffeetini. Specialty London fog.

The side potatoes were loaded and layered with flavor. That being said, the Top goes to the scallops and the swordfish!!!!!! Wow. Unbelievable flavors.

We had Karla for our sever and she was on top of it. Came around at the perfect times to check on us and just the right amount. Friendly, attentive and helpful.

Will be back for sure. Monthly date nights perhaps?????

I'd heard so many good things about this restaurant I wasn't sure it could meet my expectations. Im happy to say it surpassed my expectations. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was classy and welcoming. Our waiter Adriana was very friendly and helpful. I will be coming back to enjoy the exceptional service and incredible food.

Great place for a meal at anytime! Their brunch is amazing, especially in the summer on the patio overlooking the Snye. The dinner and wine selection cannot be beat in Fort McMurray, and tastes amazing! Perfect for parties, a date night (or brunch), or just to grab an amazing plate of food. The service is also impeccable. Recently had a work party and we all had an amazing time!

Mitchell was the best server I’ve ever had! Fantastic attitude, recommendations, and quick and detailed service. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious, especially the one Mitchell crafted that was not on the menu. Highly recommend the meat buns.

This place is always amazing to go to. They have excellent service, excellent food, and an amazing atmosphere. Surekha, the owner, actually let us have our wedding ceremony there. It was during covid, and finding places was very hard. We reached out to her to see if we could, and she was very accommodating to us. She helped us out in so many ways. So this place also holds a very special place in my and my wife's heart.

WOW! This was our first time eating here.
Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert was all excellent. Far exceeded our expectations.

I want to share my experience with the restaurant scene in Fort McMurray. I can say without hesitation or insult to any other restaurant that Surekha's is the best restaurant in the city.

My wife and I have tried various dishes, and I must say that my personal favorite is the Lobster Ravioli. However, everything I have tried so far has been delicious.

The service we received was top-notch, and the restaurant's ambiance was delightful. The food was the best part of our visit, and just thinking about it makes me crave it again.

I know what I am about to say may seem exaggerated, but I can honestly say that, after living in Canada for 16 years and having tried different restaurants in various cities, Surekha's is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in CANADA.

The place has a very nice atmosphere severs are a little bit slow but it’s fine since the food is worth it if you head to Fort Mac and want and want a fancy dinner totally recommend

Great restaurant. Perfect views. Awesome food. You have to try the Glazed Wings. Yummy! My wife had the Asian Ribs and I had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. Wow!

We were here for lunch and had a great time. The food while a little pricy was all very good, and the service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful, modern styling, with comfy love seat couches at several tables, and the views out the huge floor to ceiling windows is the best in town. Great spot to take a date.

Went to Surekha's on the Snye for first time last night...had the best experience in a restaurant for a long time!!! Our server was friendly , attentive and had great recommendations. Food was served in a timely manner and was delicious!! It's on the smaller side but only adds to the ambiance..overall a great experience...only caveat is the prices...a little steep for a quick meal out but sometimes your just worth it...cant wait to go again!!! 😍 👍👍👍👍

We had an amazing first experience there our server Mitchell was phenomenal he really made the experience memorable and he is truly one of a kind and took true pride in his work and knew about the menu he was serving.
