Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House

My husband and I went for a date night and ate in the lounge. We shared the bacon fig dip, he had the prime rib and I had the beef dip. All of our food was absolutely delicious, our order was correct and it came out fast and hot. Our server Megan was awesome, the perfect amount of attentive and super nice! Our bill was also relatively affordable, considering how much things everywhere have gone up in price lately. We will definitely be keeping Sawmill on the roster for future date nights.

Food was good, came out quicker than expected. Server was polite and pleasant. Manager checked on our experience once at the table and once on the way out. Would eat there again.

We went out for date night this evening and decided to go too the sawmill.
The food was amazing , it happened to be steak and lobster night . Every bite was excellent. The service was amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. We sat in the lounge . The manager came over and greeted us and checked in with us a few times. We will definitely be back.

We had family Easter brunch at the Sawmill south. The food was wonderful and the service was superlative. Our server, Steve, was exceptional. There is absolutely nothing that could have been improved.

Our go-to for special occasions. Great customer service. Excellent food as always. The prime rib is perfect. Always get the Decidadent Chocolate Dome for 2. It's a must-have dessert for 2 or more people.

Our server was fantastic.Food was delicious. My crab was cooked perfectly as well as my steak. The manager was genuine showing care and compassion as well the staff. Thanks for a great experience-Andy

The Sawmill has always been an amazing dining experience, I celebrated my 18th birthday at a location in Edmonton many many years ago.
My husband surpised me for my 50th birthday by taking me to The Sawmill in Stony Plain. After 32yrs it was just as fabulous if not better than I remember.
When we arrived we were taken to our table and he had arranged for a stunning bouqet of flowers to be on the table for me♥ Our server was nothing short of perfect!! She was Very friendly, attentive, and had a smile the whole time.
The the food was amazing! I was so surprised at how fast the kitchen put out the food.
We had crab stuffed mushrooms that were to die for. They had so much flavor, cooked to perfection!
We both had the Prime Rib with shrimp skewers. It was just as good if not better then I remembered. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The red skinned garlic mashed potatoes were to die for and surprisingly the veggies were cooked perfect and had delicious flavor!!
I was pleased to see full plates. They have not scaled back serving size like many other places have in recent times.
Because It was my birthday I received a desert on the house. I ordered the Baileys Brule. It was to die for!!! A perfect finish to our meal. It was light yet the flavor was unbelievable!! ♥
I love how they still have the old pictures and huge saws on the Walls. 😊
It was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time! I would recommend this restaurant and location to anyone looking for a romantic, quiet dinner. I can not saw enough good things! Its is a must if you haven't been here before.

BEST STEAK in stony 👌 honestly ,you ask for a chardbroil/Chicagostyle rib eye and prepare yourself to be amazed 👏, the mash potatoes were incredibly good and somehow stayed warm tll the end ,I shopped around for awhile to find the best steak around and I'm sold here! Only downside in the menu doesn't have many items but the food makes up for it and only 50$ribeye ..I'm there once a week

I love it here!! My hubby and I LOVE wing night- the food is always delicious. We also highly recommend asking for Elise as a server- she really is the best!

I haven't been to sawmill in so long since it shut down in the city. Sawmill was always my most favourite restaurant to go too. Since moving into spruce grove I was thrilled to find out there was a sawmill in stony plain. By golly jee was I excited!! I think sawmill has way better steak than the keg and I was so happy that this sawmill makes it just as delcious as I remembered. I cannot wait to go back already. The mushroom crab caps are also to die for!! The service was so great as well. Thank you for still being open and still being the best. I hope it stays that way !

We sat in the lounge, date night. Fantastic server, great food. Great night out with a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely go back again.

The ladies that work the lounge are amazing. Top notch service and always makes you feel at home. It’s super busy on wing night which is Tuesday and Thursday. I highly recommend this place for the service, food, atmosphere. Wish I could give it a 10. Best beef dip in town. Enjoy.

Had a wonderful dinner last night in the lounge for my friends birthday. The server (I cannot remember her name!) was amazing, very kind and attentive. She recommended a beautiful and tasty drink and was very informative about the prime rib. The food was delicious and warm! Overall a great time, awesome atmosphere and incredible service.

Amazing food. Wonderful staff. I received the cutest card (it was my birthday) that was hand drawn by a hostess named Meagan. A personal touch can make any evening that much more special ❤

We were there with a party of 25. The wait staff didn't mix up anyone's order. The tables were prepared well in advance, including a kid's table. The steak was the best I've ever eaten!

We had a really good experience last night, Thursday, when we went to the Sawmill for our anniversary supper. Thursday's are a great night, since we found out they offer half price bottles of wine and half price wings. I also ordered a martini with three olives and it was perfect. We ordered the fig and goat cheese appy and a plate of wings and they were both hot and very tasty. Mains were the chicken oscar and I had the salmon bowl. Both were very well plated and hot. Our anniversary allowed us free deserts so because we were full and taking a doggie bag of food with us, they allowed the deserts to go also. The service was great in the lounge and there are lots of TV's up high that you can see from all angles. We will be back!

Amazing! We had some beef dips delivered, and it was on point! They delivered exactly what we asked for, and it has been delicious! Will definitely be ordering again.

Had a terrific time. Service was exceptional. Both our filet and prime rib were excellent. Large portions. Grizzly Bear dessert coffee was a winner 🏆. Definitely will be back.
