Excellent service. Had a plumbing issue with our trailer, and the associate went and got Jay a local plumber who was in the store to help me with my needs. All fixed up. Really appreciated the extra effort from the staff to help me out.

One of my favorite hardware stores. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have helped me out with some real "out of the box" solutions to some of my problems. They have saved my bacon on many occasions. Lumber yard has everything you need at reasonable prices.

We routinely visit Kidd's Home Hardware and constantly receive great service. The staff is helpful, friendly and go out of their way to assist. The entire staff at Kidd's are by far the most helpful and friendly I have encountered, this is so rare in todays climate! We were just here on the weekend and what we came to purchase was out of stock. It was promptly re-ordered and the offer was made to deliver to our house. That is above and beyond customer service!!!!!

I absolutely love this store! Kidd's is by far the best hardware store I've ever set foot into. They always have plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand that can help with almost any type of problem. The service desk is always well staffed, I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. They stand 100% behind all of their products, and have no problem with exchanges on over-purchases. On several occasions they have dropped items off at the cottage without any up-front payment! Walking in there is like walking through a time warp into a 1950's T.V. show with an idealized Utopian small town general store where people trust each other know everyone by name.

Many of the staff are also contractors and can help with projects, helping you pick the right materials, and know the local building codes. If I need any help at the cottage, they have contacts for just about any type of service and have never steered me wrong.

I really cant say enough about how great this store is. I love walking in there. Big box stores cant hold a candle to these guys. When you go to the yard to pick up wood, the guys in the back are great, friendly, patient, and don't make you feel like your bothering them. The front end clerks are very friendly, efficient, and make an effort to ensure that you are not over-charged.

This Canadian owned Hardware business has everything you need, it's well stocked and ready to serve your every need. It has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you with your shopping experience.

Worst Home Hardware I've ever been to... This store had the best customer service for the longest time period I've been shopping there on and off for 8 years.
I called in my order last Monday went to pick it up on Friday and was told that I had not placed an order. I told the employee that I had proof of my phone from a call back saying that my order would be ready to be picked up on Friday. The employee had called me and left me a message saying that what I ordered was in stock and ready to be picked up. I had proof, still have it on my phone.
I will never order or go back to Kidds Home Hardware...

P..S...they cannot use Covid an excuse, the times I've been there I was the only one there.

I talked to store manager today about what happened, we had a heated conversation but settled down and talk about my dilemma.
Manager said that she would look into it and call me back.
I received a call not even an hour later, she explained what the miscommunication was and took 100% responsibility and was very apoligetic.
I had a great conversation with her.
Will be going back, soon.

At Arcadia off-grid Community, we have been using Kidd's Home Hardware for many years to build Tiny Homes for our Community. They are always knowledgeable and professional and reliable.

I understand there has been an incident at kidd's homehardware regarding a mask exemption, I agree it wasn't an appropriate response however you can't blame everything on the staff. The government has trained the public the last two years to act and behave like social justice warriors, to oppress the weak and those in political minority to be silenced. When freedom gets stripped away and everyone were all imprisoned in solitary confinement of their homes in the name of safety, it is easy to lose compassion and forget values. Perhaps moving forward the staff at Kidd's have learned to be more understanding and compassionate. It is a lesson may we all re-learn and not forget.

For years I didn't realize what an amazing store this was. When I went to other hardware and big box stores I would have to go find someone to help me and more often than not wait until they helped another customer. Kidd's always has enough staff and are very happy to help.

Nice store. Excellent top tier staff that help you find what you need. The only negative would be sometimes they dont have sale items from the flyer or only a few that sell out fast.
