Amazing food!!! Got fish tacos and loved it! The patio area is dog friendly and the staff is super awesome!!!

A hidden gem! Came in randomly on a Sunday afternoon not realizing they would have a gentleman playing live music! Food was great! Definitely get the hand cut fries, so good! Front patio is dog-friendly. Great staff! Highly recommended if you happen to be nearby.

My partner and I came here during a weekend while at Deer Lake Wilderness Retreat. Our server was very friendly and loved chatting with her.

Our wings were hot and juicy. Honestly top-tier. Shrimp basket was great. Nicely fried. Cauliflower bites were ok! Not the best but not the worst!

I will be back! I'll back for the french fries, the chicken wings, the wraps, and most of all the deserts are homemade! The problem with the desserts is to many to choose from.
The girl who served us was bubbly and cheerful.
The waitress made a bad day a great day... I was issued a moving violation.

This quaint Bistro by the lake is the perfect place to enjoy a blissful view with great view. The thing that makes the experience even better is the sweet and ever smiling staff! ❤ Totally recommend this place.

Really enjoyed Bernard's Bistro. Service was friendly and prompt and food was homemade and reasonably priced. We had fish and chips and a chicken caesar wrap with tomato basil soup. Lovely screened in porch overlooking the lake. We will back to try the homemade desserts next time!

Great carrot cake and coffee! My favourite place to stop when I just want to get out and especially during the sledding season. Or fish and chips on the patio un summer!

Sat out on the patio two days in a row with our dog and this place is just magnificent. My wife and I are classic snobby toronto people and this place didn't disappoint. Run by two fantastic hardworking women, this place has phenomenal food, great service and an atmosphere that makes you feel like a local.

Felt like we were dining with family. Sandra is fantastic. The tomato soup was so delicious!!!

Stopped in for coffee and desert. So glad we did. The carrot cake was served warm and was amazing. Wife and daughter had cheesecakes which they lived. My little one had French fries which were fresh cut and the portion was generous. Service was excellent.

Great food and service. Snowmobile friendly in Winter - enter through lower level if you are coming up from the lake. Sandra makes awesome pies and butter tarts!

On the return from a recent trip to Northern Ontario, we arranged to meet friends at Bernard’s in Sundridge. We arrived a bit early, but proprietress Sandra invited us to have a seat in the patio while waiting. We were shown to a table on the balcony with a great view of Lake Bernard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely lunch. The service was timely and the food was excellent: just what you hope for when you go to a restaurant for the first time. What was special about this visit was Sandra’s warm hospitality and her taking time to help my wife who has limited mobility. It is a pleasure to recommend Bernard’s Bistro.

Was a very pleasant visit. Atmosphere can be determined where u sit. There are three areas with different possibilities. It is a quaint place offering good food. Try the soups they are excellent.

Stopped for a treat with the kids on a bike ride.
Key lime pie was delicious, fruit muffins too but the apple pie was the star. Warm tasty and the right amount of nutmeg.
We had to order an extra slice it was sooooo good.
Also a lovely spot with great outdoor spaces.

What a great little place. Very quaint and lovely. Service is great and I've never been disappointed. Definitely recommend.
