Tipperary Park

Tipperary Park is a hidden gem in New Westminster. The lush greenery, serene pond, and well-maintained pathways make it a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll or a family picnic. The gardens are beautifully kept, and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It's a great place for kids to explore and for adults to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city!

In case you haven't visited the park during the cherry blossom season, please put it into your to-do list next year. The cherry trees here are giant, look like light pink or white clouds (depending on the sunlight). Little ponds, falls and a wooden bridge really build up a lovely tiny hideaway...from the city hall, lol.

It's the first time that we visit this city park. We are so surprised seeing this little hidden gem while next to the City Hall.
We visit this park since we enjoy the Hyack Parade in uptown. There are lots of shady area and old trees. The little creek there is a good walking area. A good park is good for just a little rest or a big family picnic.

A beautiful park in the center of new Westminster. It's not very big, but is surprisingly calm there. On a good day, you'll see people relaxing and kids having a good time. It's also a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms when they are in bloom. The cherry blossoms there are fairly well renouned, and encompass both the park and few of the streets that feed into it. One street in particular turns very pink during the season, and is my favorite spot to take pictures from.

What a beautiful park! Very lovely to walk through, and can walk on the stepping stones across the water. Can sit on a park bench and read a good book or bird watch. Thursday the Farmer's Market is there from 3-7 pm (In New Westminster, off Queens, parking on Queens beyond the military parking)

Beautiful little park - that represents New Westminster’s sister city in Japan. Very Zen walk around the little water ways, rock and wood chip paths across the water, and pools where there water fowl, The New West Farmers Market is held close by weekly during its season.Check them both out! 5/5 🤗⭐

Really nice location for Hjack Festival!

It was our first time walking and enjoying the farmers market on a Thursday afternoon. We came across a very innovative, clean, healthy product that caught our eye: vacuum sealed, fried in olive oil, root chips. There are several root varieties and all are delicious. The concept from two university graduates conquered our palates wiith this amazing snack alternative. Make sure you check them out!! - I've attached a picture for your reference.
Parking: definitely wherever you can find a spot, luckily, this park offers many entry ways, all leading to the market.

We walked to this park from Queen's Park, it took about 15 minutes, and we're glad we chose today to come because there were many ducks swimming in one of the small ponds. This park is very peaceful, not many people, but it can be very loud when there's alot of traffic across the street.

Really cute little Japanese garden tucked away le a well kept secret. It's beautiful in all seasons! Love sitting my the little stream on a way afternoon. Very peaceful!

It's a lovely local park by New West City Hall

Just a little neighbourhood park, yet well designed and carefully maintained that you shouldn't just walk by, especially when you need some quite and soothing time alone

They have a nice farmer's market on Thursdays. Calm park and good neighbors.

A Japanese garden that has become a glade. The trees are mature and the ornamental water feature has been well maintained.

Not so easy to reach when taking transit (bus from Surrey Central+15 minutes walk to the park) but it is beautiful, quiet and enjoyable. Not a huge distance but enjoyed the loop and the peaceful walk.
