I have moved over 10 times across North America, and John is absolutely the most well-planned, organized, responsible, and caring Mover I have engaged with in my lifetime! He has a very professional team, each of whom is trained very well in packing and moving. John and his team did a complete packing and moving of my 4 bedroom home and the entire move went smoothly and as planned. In fact, my family and I were relaxed and doing other things on Moving day, since John’s team had everything else under control. The entire team was cheerful, respectful and listened to our needs. We recently moved from a condo into a house and were aware of of the horror stories concerning some moving companies out there. Thank God we found John Q Moving, as it couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. Right from the initial contact with John through to his crew of three young men (Dominik, Pablo and Daniel) who moved us, we encountered such great attitudes, work ethics and professionalism throughout. The crew worked fast, yet were efficient and careful. This included wrapping important items in plastic wrap, being able to fit a loveseat that had been assembled on the balcony through the door, checking if there was anything else that required moving, and not holding the elevator when not in use. Everyone was so polite, courteous and friendly... had we traveled back in time? No, it was time to travel on to our next destination, where they unloaded the truck with ease, making sure that all our items were delivered where we wanted them. Whew!!! Thanks John and Crew! Now if only you provided an unpacking service...

AMAZING! Hands down the best moving company I ever used. I will use them when I move again in a year and will recommend them to anyone I know. The owner actually cares about his customers. He had great communication with me before and after the move. His crew are amazing. They are professional, courteous, kind and hard workers. They take care of your belongings like they were your own. They don’t take short cuts but John Q also has extremely good prices. Long story short, my strata didn’t arrange for an elevator key and the crew took it with stride. It’s sad to say that it really sticks out nowadays when you deal with a good, let alone fantastic company and these guys are it. I did my research and am grateful that I chose to go ahead with John Q based on other reviews. He should be very proud of his company and team members. My wife and I recently moved this past Sunday and we could not have been more thankful for John and his team. Our new home had been delayed multiple times and each time John found away to reschedule us and even though when we finally moved which was a Sunday, the rate/cost was unaffected.

We scheduled 9am and John was there 8:50 and like Seal Team 6, he positioned his team and the strategy in seconds and with precision went right to work. Every time we mentioned what he might run into, nothing was an issue. The answer was “simple enough, no worries”.

They wrapped up everything that wasn’t box. It felt like I was back at my ole nona’s place with plastic covered furniture. I’m sure if I stood in one place for more than 30 seconds they would have wrapped me up and through me on the truck as well.

All our belongings were handled with extreme care and nothing arrived damaged. It was super impressive and John was able to clear our condo which was on the 23rd floor, out in less than the three hours we had the elevator booked for.

Once his team arrived at our new townhouse, John’s experience kicks right into gear. He used techniques that emptied his entire truck into our narrow three story townhome in less than 2 hours. And yet still everything was in mint condition. Once all items were in the house and counted, his team put our furniture they had to disassemble back together and almost put everything away for us. It was truly something.

After painting non stop for three days doing 13 hr shifts with my father in law, the last thing I wanted was a stressful move for my wife and I. When the actual move is where most people lament and worry, for us thanks in large part of John, was the not only the easiest, but the most fun of the entire process.

I cannot say enough for what this man and his team did for us. We got top quality and treated with great respect. Not hiring John would be a fool’s errand and if you got this far, I hope I did enough to convince you to hire him. I personally hired him by reading the same reviews you are and I have to say thank you to everyone who wrote a review as that is what sold me as well.

I had read the reviews for JohnQ and it felt like a million other movers before choosing JohnQ to move our belongings from Surrey to Campbell River. I was sceptical about the great reviews John and team received as you hear so many horror stores of moving companies.
John came out twice to review and to relieve our anxiety over whether everything would fit in moving vans. And over the two move days the team of Chris, Dom, George and John worked non stop from the time they arrive (on time) until ever last piece was unloaded off both the moving truck and the large uhaul we rented.
They took the time to cover or wrap everything and to put runners down on the floors as to not damage them.
They were all very professional, courteous, efficient, hardworking.
I have recommended them to others already. Thanks John (thanks for the figs) and team.
