I randomly stopped byAnim salon yesterday not having an appointment. Nancy was the nice lady that took me in right away and asked what I wanted. I said I only wanted a curly cut. She listened well, and did exactly what I wanted with my hair. I found my new person. I was so happy with what my hair looked like the next day which is the mark of a good haircut.

A professional, punctual, and pristine studio. My barber, Victor, delivered exceptional work, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. I asked for a high-fade, and he executed the style flawlessly. Without a doubt, I'll be returning for my next haircut!

I went in on New Year’s Eve to get a silk press and colouring. The lady who helped me was really friendly, she helped me pick the right color for my hair. I left feeling happy and satisfied with my new look. The entire staff was really nice too. I definitely recommend

They are kind and always so welcoming. My kids have been coming since they were toddlers and have a great experience every time.

I have been coming to see the beautiful and awesome Nancy (the owner) for many years now :)

She does a fantastic job on my hair every single time. She assessed it when I first came there (and always does a good check on my hair health each time since), she gives me good information on how to help keep it healthy, which products are naturally good (my hair type is semi thick, loose afro) and also best ways to style it to avoid damage.

I’ve come in for trims, hair cuts, root colour/touch ups, interlock braid extension with loose curled extensions that looked wonderful! The extensions stayed in place, was great for my scalp as I could still wash and dry my own hair within the extension easily. When it was time to take them out (mine lasted almost four months - as my hair grew) it was easy.

She is thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable, funny, professional and a beautiful person. Nika, Danny and the whole Anim team are wonderful! It’s like going to hang out with friends, they’re good keeping with schedule and help all their customers best as they can.

They do kids hair to adults with various hair types and needs. They have some products for purchase there also. Everyone is welcome (as long as they are conducting themselves in good nature as people should anywhere), it’s a great place, easy to get to and I highly recommend!

My new go-to salon for sure! Love the location, atmosphere and vibe. Shianne hooked me up with really awesome braids for my vacation, and I will definitely be seeing her again.

My hair is. difficult to cut and colour Nancy did a fantastic job colouring, foiling and styling my hair. She is the only hairdresser that has been able to completely cover my orange and red tones. And my hair cut was great, easy to work with

Got the full highlights package from Groupon, and had Sharlyn do my hair. The result is amazing! Attention to details is 👌🏼. Vibe here is fun, and welcoming! Blowout was a bonus 😊 Will definitely come back again!!! Thanks everyone!!

I've been to Nicca twice for a hair cut. She is quick but thorough. I have never left there dissatisfied. She is super friendly and really knows what the client would want. Also, she is pretty much always available and when she isn't, she tries her best to fit me in.

The location of the salon is great! However, the salon in itself is not your typical upscale salon...it has an urban feel.

My fave stylist Katt is working here now :) (check out her super clean work on IG @braidedbykatt) I've been seeing Katt for a minute now but it was my first time getting my hair done at Anim, a lot of my friends have been coming to Anim for years so you know they must be good. Honestly I had the best time getting my hair done here, with Katt's sweet & instant BFF vibes and the whole shop's dope energy, I highly recommend this place! From conversations I can tell all the stylists here are passionate about their work and are really knowledgeable, the owner is super personable as well and even very sincerely thanked me for my business as I was checking out <3 100% my new fave salon!

My first visit here but definitely will not be my last. Nica was awesome! I purchased a Groupon which clearly stated that there may be additional charges dependant on hair type and with curly hair I was expecting it. But I told her what I wanted and she gave me options to fit within my budget. She was very personable and the shop has a great atmosphere. Thank you Nica!

I called and the person who answered the phone (I think everyone helps with reception) was friendly and polite. I got an appointment within a week (and on a weekend at that).
Two days before, I received a reminder about my appointment.
On the day of the appointment, someone called me to remind me that I needed to wear a mask (Covid rules etc). They provide them for $2 if you don’t have one.
I arrived at the salon early for my appointment. It’s not fancy (or pretentious) but clean. A number of people asked if I needed assistance and were super attentive even though I was early.
My stylist (Nica Reyes) was finishing another appointment and then still started my appointment within 5 minutes of my start time. I wasn’t in a huge rush but appreciated the punctuality.
Nica and I discussed what I wanted. I’m pretty easy going with my hair and I appreciated that she had thoughts and suggestions. She suggested a colour I wouldn’t have thought of and it looks great.
In addition, my hair takes a long time. It’s long, dark, and thick so highlights is always a 3hour+ job.
She was friendly the whole time and even though it was the end of a busy day for her, never made me feel like she just wanted to leave . On top of that, all the other staff and clients in the salon were super friendly. I’m very happy with my experience. Thanks Nica!

Everyone was friendly, I appreciate that in a Salon as they can be quite uppity. I took my toddler for a trim and young son who was with me got a nice clean up and fade on the house! ❤
