Sommet Edelweiss

Love this ski hill. Best one in the area. There's a fast chair lift. Good snow today and making more snow. Staff are friendly and helpful. Chalet is clean and meals very affordable. There is a tubing area which we went to last year but not open just yet this season. Lots of fun!

Love this place. Been boarding here forever. One if my favourite in the Ottawa area and always have the best terrain park in the area. Although the jumps have gotten smaller and less over the years since Covid. Besides that though always a great and really fun park. Would def recommend.

Great snow conditions always... I am amazed every week I go how good the conditions are on the hill. It is definitely worth the few extra minutes to get there, and the small quick lift lines! Fun helpful staff! Solid snow park! Lines are short too!

Great runs and good variety to practice tricks/jumps! One of my favorite places to go snowboarding and evening season passes are very affordable and allow you to pay it in 3 monthly payments if you can't pay it all upfront!

Might not be the biggest hill, but it has an interesting variety of terrain and a pretty decent terrain park if you’re into that. The staff are excellent, friendly and go out of their way help. It has a community feel, unlike the bigger, snootier hills.

Dec, '22. Very good snow conditions, and lots of snow making going on, bit icy in one spot by noon. 3 major runs and 3 features in park open. Very little crowd if you get there very early. 2 lifts are running and well. By midday crowds, conditions in a few spots and mixed abilities start to slow things down quite a bit. For the price amd the lovely drive, a 4 hour pass is definitely worth it. The regular poutine apres ski was a bit of a letdown.

It's been 4 years since I ski here. Had no regrets when i came yesterday evening. Quick service and friendly staff. Had a blast and will be back.

My Dad took us up skiing at Edelweiss every weekend when we were little - back in the 1960's. I learned to love the sport on Zoomer and Streif and the other runs of the day - so much so that in the mid 70's I moved west and began a +40 year career working for Whistler Mtn.
My life would have been very different had I not been in love with skiing and it started at Edelweiss. Thank you!

Wonderful place to take the whole family. It has good terrain for beginners and intermediate and a few challenging runs for those inclined ; )Three quads keep people moving but mostly two are used.

Conditions were very good considering the rain we got 2 days ago. They constantly provide perfect grooming.

The greatest place to do tubing! Had a lot of fun! My GF dropped her beanie, Mathew helped us pick it up and ran down all the way from the hill to give it to us. Appreciated a lot his helps!

This is my favourite of the local ski areas. The runs are long and well pitched. The snow always seems better than the others. The bar is always a lot of fun and the staff are always great. They have the only high speed quad in the area which means you spend a lot more time on the hill. The tubing park is a great family excursion.

It was a very nice place, the entertainment facilities were excellent, my friends and I had a lot of fun, you must go by car, and the best time is around 11 in the morning.

Awesome instructors at this place, was trained by Alex! Made a run with him down the slopes and I lived to tell the tale :-)! Still had snow in March!! The place is really great

This skiing hill is always the awesome hill to go on. Those buildings are also very nice. I haven't been there in 20 years and the had been a huge improvement. The streets are very friendly and easy to communicate since I'm deaf. Very highly recommended. They even have CAD group for wheelchair and other disabled people.

Amazing tubing experience. Staff really wants you to enjoy and does not get tired, pushing you down the hill.

Properly maintained hills. The snowboard rentals are actually great brands. Competitive prices compared to other hills around the area. The covid screenings seems to be done randomly. The food served in the cafeteria is what you'd expect from a ski hill resort; hot dogs, poutine and hamburgers. Quite generous on the poutine cheese topping I should add.

Best local mountain in the Gatineau's IMHO. Highest vertical within 30 minutes of Ottawa. The more hard core go the extra mile to get there. Less drunks on the mountain...

My skiing experience was amazing and I will never forget it. It was not crowded neither was it expensive. The runs are great. My favourite one was shotgun.

Wonderful Resort with all facilities and polite staff especially the lift operator girl in the evening shift. 😀
