Ricky's All Day Grill - Medicine Hat

I came with my wife and daughters Friday evening. It was nice and quiet atmosphere being around respectable families and having a great time. The husband and wife who owns the restaurant was super nice and friendly towards us. We look forward on coming back there again when we visit Medicine Hat.

Stopped at Ricky's on our way to Calgary from Regina. Had some of the spring menu items - they were delish!! The Cinnamon Waffles are a must try. Loved the ambience, menu and most of all the hospitality! I would recommend Ricky's to anyone who wants to have a good portion , value for money breakfast/brunch/lunch/anytime of the day dine-in!

Family meal for early-dinner (seated around 4:30pm). Server was very kind, patient, and helpful. Did not get appies or dessert. Everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal. Large portions. I was extremely happy about my Wiener Schnitzel (limited/seasonal menu).

Awesome Breakfast this morning! Service was brisk except the speed that the food arrived but every chair in the place was occupied so it was very understandable! Hot and very tasty are the words to use!

We have now eaten here three times and the quality and service has been flawless. Burger, wrap and a club were the choices and they were delish!
Side salads blended greens, tomatoe and cranberries and the club had generous layers of crisp bacon and juicy turkey.
Not much for ambience and the dining room needs a coat of paint to brighten a drab interior but we aren't too particular if the meal rocks...well done Ricky's management and staff!

Abby was our server very attentive and polite I've been doing this job for 51 years and counting and trust me you have to love what you do. Only thing is when your older the portions are to big we should have added an egg and shared I wish there was smaller portions. But the food was delicious. Will be back

Our table of 7 arrived on Saturday night after being turned away from another restaurant that could not accommodate us and was warmly welcomed by the single waitress serving that night. She had a full restaurant of about 30 tables. She set expectations that she would be back for our order in about ten minutes. She had the best attitude and never rushed but swiftly served every table. She refilled our drinks and served us like we were the only table. The food was very good. Our waitress was amazing. We were one of the last tables to leave. She didn’t have time to clean up every table and you could tell the restaurant had been full as every table still had glassware. As a former travel agent, I have eating in hundreds of restaurants in cities all over the world. This was by far the best server I have ever seen. Impressed!

Good restaurant. Very clean and well maintained. Service was nice and prompt. Food came out hot and fresh. Overall really good. Will go again when I’m in town.

Food was delicious! Lasagna was huge and price was great. Service was fast considering it looked like one server for the whole restaurant. She was working very efficiently!

Ordered from Skip. Had their cheesesteak with fries. So so good! And very filling. I haven't been to, or ordered from, Ricky's in a long time, but it was definitely worth the wait!

My Dad and I stopped at Ricky's for breakfast, and we were extremely happy that we did! I had a hunch right from the landscaping outside that our experience would be positive. Would a restauraunt pay attention to making their flowers look immaculate and then serve so-so food? I didn't think so...and I guessed right! The food was incredible, our server was fun and friendly. We both had the waffle big breakfast, and would easily recommend it as long as you have a good appetite. It came with three eggs, three pieces of yummy maple bacon, three sausages, half a waffle and stuffed hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were really neat, they were layered shredded potatoes with cheese and onion, and they just had so much flavour! Everything was cooked perfectly, and we'll always eat here for breakfast again when passing through Medicine Hat.

Had breakfast eggs bennie. Excellent. The server was great (asked if she knew where a used book store was and gave me exactly what I needed)

1st time at Ricky's. Found the restaurant clean and fresh. Staff were very friendly and personable. Seated and server was right at the table. Orders were taken and beverages arrived quickly. Breakfast was great. Food was tasty and hot.

I just had the best breakfast I have had in 25 to 30 years. The service was great, but the food was exceptional hot until the last piece of fruit, unheard of in the restaurant business ( yes, I mean hot).I had the stuff french toast. Great flavor in the sauce; the peaches were still firm. I also had a side of bacon. The bacon was crispy, hot, and flavorful. And it still looks like bacon. I would like to thank ALL the staff at Ricky 's Medicine Hat at Radcliff Drive. Oh, by the way, I have never left a review for any breakfast place.

Ordered a sticky toffee pudding to go, restaurant was quiet but the young gentleman at the front was professional and friendly!

Food is amazing, and the price is fair, and the service is always top-notch. I highly recommend there waffles. The best in the city.

Stopped in at Subway and discovered they were not seating anyone only takeout. So we decided to try Ricky's next door. My friend and I split a meal (California Chicken Sandwich) and substituted the normal fries for the Rosemary/Parm Truffle Fries which were excellent with the lemon aioli dip. The Chicken Sandwich was delicious with maple bacon, pepper jack cheese guacamole, lettuce and tomato on a toasted multigrain bun. We also split a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream which is to die for. We both felt the meal was so flavorful, and really sparked our taste buds. Definitely will go back again. We had heard the food was expensive and they have very pricy coffee. We had plenty of food splitting one order and that way the pricing was reasonable. We did not have coffee....LOL
