Lobster Barn

Went after a day in PEI and I’ve got to say the lobster rolls are 10/10. They are very with the amount of lobster on the rolls and the homemade mayo is really the cherry on top. We were seated outside with a view of the water and the sunset, service was excellent.

The SIZE of the lobster poutine was bonkers!! I legitimately commented on how heavy the box was when i picked it up. This could easily have fed two decently people for lunch - I was quite hungry and can eat a fair bit and it fed me for most of the day! Plenty of lobster, the lobster gravy was delicious, fries crispy-nothing to complain about! Sitting outside in the sun with the sea made it taste even better. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars- it was THAT good! Food was top notch (best lobster roll I’ve had on our trip- and best lobster roll I’ve tried across all the Maritime provinces + Ontario)! Generous portions, fabulous atmosphere, and very calm sea side vibes. I really wish I didn’t live in Toronto, because I want to come back for seconds so badly!!! Thank you for the most wonderful last meal we had in PEI!

I eat here at least once or twice a year. Yes, I am a local. Even though this place is now under new management, it continues to be a favorite of mine and to the many tourists that visit the quaint village of Victoria PEI. Food, view, location and people make this a must stop. The village has many other food and artisan options available.
We had the (original) lobster roll, seafood chowder that was on special for $25 Canadian. The side of wharf fries were excellent also.
You will not be disappointed.

Ashley was outstanding as our server. She completely understood our food allergies and was very accommodating. This place is absolutely amazing. It's sits directly on the ocean side where you can watch the tides come in or out. Food is bang on and delicious. Highly recommend visiting if you are in PEI.

I was visiting the island for a little over a week, and discovered this place along my way. The best fish tacos I had on the island hands down. I also enjoyed a Mexican street corn nacho concoction that was delicious! (I highly recommend both!)

My server was amazing and even recommended a few local gems to visit while I was there. Clean, generous portion sizes and a large menu to select from.

Atmosphere was great, authentic and had a lovely modern feel.

This is one of the best spots for a good lobster roll on PEI. The lobster was sweet, paired with the perfect amount of mayo. The sandwich was massive and quite decently priced compared to other places. Plenty of meat, on a soft buttered bun. As much as the sandwich was great, the fries took it to another level. They were perfectly salted and crisp. I guess it’s PEI’s charm with its fresh potatoes. Honestly, the best fries I’ve had in my life. Try the wharf fries. You will not be disappointed.

First time visiting the Lobster Barn and I haven't been able to stop thinking about the meal we had. Everything was cooked well and delicious! Besides the seafood, I highly recommend saving some room for dessert and trying a seasonal dessert. The strawberry cheesecake I had was superb. Oh and the mussels were fantastic too. I can't wait to go back.

Probably the best lobster roll I had in PEI and equally on par with the one at Richard's (but not the Richard's location across the street from lobster barn). I felt the Barn was quite generous with the amount of lobster they put in the roll.

My only knock on the atmosphere is that if you can't get seating inside since it's usually busy and full), you'll have to wait to grab one of the benches outside if you get take out and after others are done with eating. Or you can sit on the ledge next to the water. But this isn't any fault of the restaurant.

We were visiting the island for ten days and on the recommendation of our innkeeper we went to Lobster Barn one day around 3pm. They had a table inside that we could sit right away but we wanted one of the 5 tables on the deck. It was a short 20 minutes wait.

The place is cute and the views are awesome. The menu offers seafood and non-seafood dishes. My wife being allergic to shellfish, I managed to finish a serving of mussels prepared with coconut curry sauce by myself, delicious!

For entree we ordered Lobster Roll (Market Price $24) and fish & chips. You can have one or two pieces of fish ($14 or $17) and salad in place of fries with your fish, which we did. And we ordered onion rings ($8). Everything was delicious!

As others have said the amount of lobster on the lobster roll was amazing and not just chopped up pieces as you get in other places, but whole claws!

The service was friendly and attentive. Not a big deal but the printed menu said Mussels were $12 and onion rings $7 but we were charged $13 & $8 respectively?!?

A must go place if you are visiting the island.

We grazed across the menu with the lobster poutine, the garlic & wine mussels, and the original and butter lobster rolls. Everything was excellent, and the lobster rolls are fresh, not drowning in butter or mayo, and very substantial. I’d order them again, but I think with the green salad instead of french fries.

We went there pretty late for lunch and too early for dinner but very accommodating for our group of 7. We ordered crab dip, mussels (traditional, coconut and 3 spice), lobster rolls, fish tacos and scallops. For dessert had the coconut cheesecake. I highly recommend this place because the taste is great and portions very generous.

Beautiful space and location. Super friendly service and the BEST lobster roll ever! We have been traveling Nova Scotia and PEI for 2 weeks and have had a lobster roll almost daily. This one is pure perfection!!

Best lobster roll ever. My wife and I came across this Lobster Barn while on a motorcycle road trip from New York City. The lobster was moist, delicious and for the price, generous. We loved this so much that we actually ignored the lobster rolls in Bar Harbor, Maine

The best lobster roll you’ll ever have! Tons of fresh lobster overflowing from the soft buttery bun, and the homemade mayonnaise is incredible! One of my favourite restaurants ever, and if I could give them 10 starts I would. The staff is always so kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing. Thank you Lobster Barn!

You got have to stop here for their lobster rolls, fresh, sweet, delicious. The service was excellent. The restaurant has a good wharf view.

There is areason this place is booked up with reservations! Great food and service. The prices are very affordable. I had a very comparable meal in Acadia, Maine for double the price. The mussels are phenomenal+

Coming from Ontario, we don't get fresh seafood... this was fantastic. To see so much fresh lobster on a lobster roll was beautiful and tasty. The fish and chips..wow.. no words.. view ..incredible and the service.. loved it! Eat here!

The best lobster poutine I’ve had on the island and the spicy lobster bacon roll is top notch for a sauce-lover like myself. Huge chunks of fresh lobster meat! I am drooling looking back at these photos.

It was full for inside seating but definitely no regrets with their takeout menu.
