Definitely a one of a kind beach for a one of a kind place!! With so much to see from the creatures in the small tide pools to the birds and animals on land, its gorgeous here! I loved the small water fall right beside the stairs that descend to the beach and to see all the layers of red sand that go back generations right there! It amazing to watch the tide come in as well because it seems so quick and mesmerizing but up on the hill, your safe to sit and enjoy the show. If you ever get the chance to stay for a visit I highly suggest!!

Beautiful Red Sand Beach. We made the mistake of going at High Tide so we didn't get much beach time. There was about 6 -8 ft of beach left by the time we got there. By the time we left there was no beach left at all. It was about 3ft deep. Definitely worth checking out. The red Sand Beach is very cool. Check out the photos 😊

Fun and free park with picnic tables, playground and beach access. The red sand beach is unique with a mix of some stones that made for fun to skip rocks. Park closing times varies throughout the year.

I love this place. Great red sand beach with amazing views. Usually not too busy as well with plenty of parking and no cost to enter.

Make sure you look up the tides of you want to swim. At high tide, the water comes up to the rocks.

There is a good bathroom available and some playgrounds for the kids.

The Missus, boys and I, along with two family outlaws learned that the Argyle Shore Provincial Park had one of the reddest sand beaches on PEI. This was perfect for making our own red dirt T-Shirts.

The beach is accessible at low tide for a nice walk, beachcombing and rock skipping. The red sandstone cliffs and water features makes for very scenic views. There is ample parking along with washroom facilities.

Our family (group of 7 adults) travelled here on Saturday August 13, 2022. This was not planned, we basically picked an area and drove around the coast line and came upon lots of cool places - including this one! We all loved this spot. The waterfall over the side of the cliff into the ocean is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The views are incredible, and it had less than 30 people there when we went in mid day which was surprising! I would highly recommend checking this place out. Not much really to do here except enjoy the water and stunning views! 😊

One perhaps the best weather day of the trip, visited Argyle Shore!

Not only was this ‘free’ to visit and enjoy, the timing was perfect.

The scenery and beauty were simply wonderful and majestic.

We picked this spot randomly and had a great time exploring the tidal pools at low tide. Facilities were clean and neat. We picniced on the bluffs above the beach with a great view.

A must see if you want to check out the red sands of P.EI. Free parking. Make sure to check out the tide schedule to get the best experience. Highly recommend dark bathing suit and clothes because the red sand can stain.

We arrived on the 2cnd Aug with 3 adults and 2 kids, entering the beach part of the park at the falling of the super moon tide; watching it go out for several hours. For each interval of about 30 minutes or so, we would venture out to the revealing sand bars, each one appearing after the other, like a round stone you skip on the ocean we awaited how many would appear.

What a stunning experience, red, red sand, smooth and soft. Gorgeous cliffs and picturesque skies.

What a wonderful place to see ocean life; crustaceans galore.

This is a must see place on the island.

Super beautiful! My first visit to a red beach. Parking is free and a great place to relax and have a picnic. Washrooms and shower facilities are there free of charge and a nice playground. Stairs down the cliffs take you to Oceanside access when tides are low.

Beautiful beach. At low tides you can find a lot of sea creatures. Great for kids to explore. Careful of jellyfish.

This place was beautiful. We were there when the tide was out so you could walk easily on the beach in all directions.

Loved it! The shallow warm water, the red sand, tons of sea weeds and a tiny water fall. The beach is not just picture perfect, it is perfect to spend you day during the low tide. You can just relax and soak the sun. If the sun gets too much, there is enough shade for relief. And to top it all, it was not crowded (we visited on a weekday)..

Lovely place, parking is close. After climbing down the stairs there is a lovely beach with warm water and a waterfall. They had Porta potties (regular washrooms closed for the season).

Beautiful beach, and once the tide goes out you can walk forever. We even set up our beach toys next to a waterfall!
