I went to school here between Sept 1956-June 1959. A lot of my classmates left from here when the AVRO Arrow fighter jet was cancelled when John Diefenbacher was Prime Minister. My mother, Audrey Harrison, was the school secretary during those almost for years. Mr Robert Smythe was the principal at that time. My mother was English, & my classmates included my "bff" Pam Barton, and other dear friends named Elizabeth Cassells, Ann Atkey, Linda Hughes, Catherine Chambers...l liked a little boy named Marshall Otto who was a year behind me in school. I remember a "new girl" named Senka Dukovich....Pam & l remained friends & l know Senka was a truly gifted student like Pam. They were both at the top of the high school (T.L.Kennedy) but l believe Pam was Valadi toriLol...almost 70 yrs ago now...but l thought l'd write their names just in case others read & recognize the names. GR One teacher was Miss Procup (actually Procupchuk), GR Two was Miss Thompson, Grade 3 was Mrs. Taylor, and Grade 4 was Mr Smythe (also the principal.) Hello old classmates...l live in SC now. Can’t believe this school is still there. I went to school here 50 years ago. Brings back so many memories. I lived on Elm Drive. Great memories. ❤❤

I went to this school in 1987 to 1991. The principal was called Mr Micklethwaite. My teachers were Mr. Welch, Mr. Maynard and Mrs. Graham. The secretary was Mrs. Dadson. Lunch time supervisor was Mrs. Coates. It was up to grade 6 then. The playground was about 20x bigger than it is now and there wasnt a condo in sight. You could walk from the school to square one through a field of grass. Kariya drive was just being built. A lot of classes were in portables. There was a huge baseball diamond too. The "weeping willow" tree was also easy to climb.
