Oscar Peterson Public School

My son goes to grade 4 French emersion program from this year. We are happy with the school experience. Staffs and teachers are nice.

This is the best school EVER they have the best staff and I just want to give a shout-out to Mr.Madray if he still works there he was the best teacher I’ve ever had, and I’m not just saying that

Someone who just graduated here. The staff was great, only for a select few, but it seems unfair to take off a star because of 1 person. Someone on the staff team offered water when I needed it. My only problem other than some select few on the staff was the curriculum was too easy, but I understand that it has to take into consideration other kids though since everyone is different and that the school doesn't control the curriculum. School teaches you about acceptance, pronouns, etc. I see some other reviews about the overreaction of COVID, and I understand the bad reviews on their part if what they say is true. I cannot confirm this as I did not go in person during COVID, but Overall, a great school in my experience.

Edit: I would like to add that in grade 5, I learned about the mean, median, mode, and range, but I learned this in grade 3. And no, it wasn't from extracurriculars, at least if my memory serves me correctly. Some of my other classmates didn't know this though, which was a bit confusing.

Also, in grade 5, I did not learn that much, especially in math, which was strange. However, I did have to do a lot of stuff outside of school which involved learning the curriculum, especially in grade 4, so this may just be on my part.

I go to this school and it's amazing! I personally don't know why people say it's really bad but from my experience, the teachers are very kind and friendly. I have noticed there was someone who wrote a bad review about my Grade 2 teacher Mrs. Bitmanis and what they said was completly wrong. Same with a review about my sister's teacher, Mme. Kolenda. There are a lot of fun activities to participate in. Such as quidditch from Harry Potter which was really fun! Overall I personally think that this is an amazing school and you will NOT regret going to this school.

AMAZING SCHOOL!!! Principal and vice principal are so nice and friendly. So many different activities everyone's so kind and caring!

With the new principal lots and lots of great changes. We hope this change continues long.

We are so sad that Miss. Zerrouk and Mr.Nord leaving the school, they were awesome teachers with marvelous experience in teaching.
We wish them all the best and we hope they can stay.

One of the best elementry schools in the area. Teachers are very nice. Has a big playground for kids to enjoy.

A great school, went up to grade 2 in 2007-2010. Great teachers as well. Mr. Bennell gave me determination.
