Ellengale Public School

I was here in 2014 for a really short period of time, but i have nothing but good memories about Ellengale. My teacher was Mr. Reid, and he was, even though for a little while, the best and kindest teacher I ever had. I have one really vivid memory of him cheering me up after some kids had left me out a bullied me when I was in kindergarten, and if I could’ve, I would’ve stayed at Ellengale.

There is no star rating that really shows how great Ellengale really is. First off, you’ll never find such an amazing school in the PDSB. With the one-on-one support, friendly teachers, and school activities, it will create memories from Kindergarten to Grade 6, like it did for me. I’m at another school now, and I can see how different and unique Ellengale is, was, and always will be. It is a smaller school, but that just keeps it more united, with the monthly CHESTER assemblies, positive learning, and great teachers.

Pros:
Great accessible one-on-one support that promotes positive learning
Teachers that care about the students themselves, their futures, goals, needs and problems
Monthly assemblies and activities that hold the school together, where everyone knows everyone
Easy busing for most areas the school covers
Creates memories that will last forever, between students, teachers and staff

Cons:
Some years the school has had too many students for it’s size
Too many portables takes away open space for recess/other activities

Overall, this school is honestly the best you’ll ever find. Don’t even try comparing it to others, as the school spirit brings everyone together, from at their time at Ellengale, and even after. It stays with you forever, and hopefully you’ll have/are having as great of a time at Ellengale as I did, but just remember, appreciate your time there, as it’s only 8 years!

I thank Ellengale Public School and faculties for putting in all the efforts to groom us and make us corporate professionals. It is a wonderful experience at Ellengale Public School.

The best things about Ellengale Public School is that it has allowed my child to become more independent and has provided resources to help with his subjects.

I really like the placement process of our school, everyone is working really hard for all students so that they could get easily placed in best companies, I was really lucky that I got placed in our first ever placement.

Ellengale Public School has always believed in helping and guiding its students. Regular classes held at our school to help my child with his aptitude and technical skills were of great help. Our administration officers also guided and encouraged us at each step thereby helping me secure my placement at such reputed companies.

This school is amazing everyone is so nice and there is so much things to do. I really don’t want to leave because they are the nicest teachers in the world. When I went to my old school all the teachers were really rude to me. So my mother she thought of this school Ellengale Public School because it’s so close to my house and when I leave I’m going to be really sad :/.

Ms. Bruce and Ms. Peter the best teachers. My daughter loves going to Ellengale. Over all Staff very friendly and teachers give personalized attention to every student. I highly recommend this Public School.

Ms schabla was THE BEST TEACHER EVER. She was my gr 4 and gr 5 teacher. Hinestly, after that, i did not have a better teacher than her

This is the best school the teachers are doing their best to make students feel more confident and are not strict at all

My children made a lot of friends and we had the best 5 years over there

The school is not that bad I like the teachers

I used to go Ellengale back in 1995. Mr. Ferri, and Miss Bedford where my teachers. I was there for a short time only. My teachers moved for job's and life. They where nice teachers. Thank you for helping me in class with my work projects.

I now live on the west cost of BC, and doing well. I lost my school photos during the move to BC. I called the school 27 years later to see if they have the pictures and,sadly they do not carry old school pictures from the past. Good memories.

This is the worst schools out there. I have nothing but disrespect for teachers and students that attend the school. The teachers here are stupid people, the principal is beyond stupid. The world needs to be reminded of this everyday.
