Lorne Park Library

It's a neat community library perfect for families with young children. The children's section is big, comprehensive, with a decent play area and a PC with various games for the young audience. I like that this section is away from others and separated by a hall. I have a toddler and if you know that age and the developmental "features" of toddlerhood, you are probably aware that it's hard to keep such young children quiet, they are learning their boundaries and the word "no". So, I'm grateful to the staff and general public for being patient with toddlers as they learn. There is always a themed display of children's arts and holiday ornaments, which sparks my daughter's curiosity, we look forward to seeing it each time we come in. The washroom is located conveniently in the children's section, it's equipped with a changing table. There is an outdoor playground as well. This library is a gem!

My son's first visit to a library to take out books was a success! The librarian was one of the kindest most patient people I have met. She helped my son find books about cars and trucks. He got his first library card AND he even got to sign out his books all by himself. Ms. Librarian, I should have asked you your name. You are a lovely person.

Nice and cozy. Small size but amazing neighborhood. Staff friendly. Need more attention on bathrooms cleanliness othere then that everything amazing.

I had a month long stay with a relative who didnt have internet, so I had to use the libraries wifi to do my online work. I spent hours at a time there various times though out the day and evening. I found it nice and quiet with good work stations. Staff were friendly and helpful. Building is bright and modern.

Good place to work or study in. It’s nice and quiet a lot of books to read for all ages, and many computers too.👍
