NCP and their team were helping us from the very beginning when we arrived in Canada. It’s been almost a year and they still help us and reach out to us and help us. Amazing volunteers work there.

As a new comer, you hear all these stories about people getting a job after 2 or 3 years and I know it's the case for some people, but when I joined NCP it gave me the tools and the confidence to apply properly and do interviews more easily, they cover everything from cover letter, resume and elevator pitch to practicing interviews and placement program.

I had two interviews for the placement program and ended working with the company as a freelancer once the placement period ended.
Of course, this is not a guarantee it depends on the needs and wants of the company, but from as well this freelance job I got introduced to other brands and was able to work on other freelance projects.

The support and confidence that the staff gives you at Newcomer Centre of Peel are excellent, they give everything they know and lift the spirit up. Thank you guys especially to my awesome instructors Vicki and Anthony, you have been a delight on this journey, and your support will never be forgotten

Great learning experience. The teachers and job developers work really hard and are very helpful. The program itself is very useful for new comers, it helps to refine resume and LinkedIn profile and makes you aware of so many services that are available to new comers free of cost. Not only this course provides you an co-op opportunity but also increases your chances of landing a paid job.

I have had the experience of GBC courses with Kathy, Ivan and Kyu, all awesome and friendly teachers, and I can tell that this is a great start point for any newcomer to Canada who is thinking of starting their own business (from a small store, to a large company). First and foremost, you will understand if you are a good fit of being an entrepreneur, and if yes, you will learn a lot about the challenges ahead in different perspectives. And it's not only about the 8 weeks of courses, these great teachers, including Kyu, are there for you anytime you need a business advice.

I find myself very fortunate to be associated with NCP. Their team is simply the best..my experience with each one of them has been very very warm, super supportive and they make sure you are on the correct path when it comes to settling down as a new immigrant.
They have well structured programs, very knowledgeable and talented facilitators, job developers and they make sure that we do not miss on any opportunity to learn and develop ourselves. Vicki and Anthony have been very helpful in helping me polish my work accomplishments and present it well to the Canadian Businesses. The NC Peel LMA program helped me to start my professional journey in Canada on the right footing.

The Newcomer Centre of Peel helped me restart my career after a long break. Not only do they help you explore and understand the labor market in Canada but they go above and beyond to equip you with all the skills you would need to strategize their job search in the right direction.

Their co-op placement program compliments their coaching session perfectly. Franca is an amazing coach who was helpful every step of the way, was very patient and paid individual attention to every student. Zunaira, I can't thank her enough!, she worked so hard, and matched my profile with various co-op opportunities, she was so persistent and committed, and co-ordinated and followed up until I finally found a co-op position that I love, I was lucky enough to get a paid co-op in one of the biggest companies in Canada.

I would highly recommend NCP for any new immigrant getting their foot in the door into the job market and those that are restarting their careers.

I joined NCP in March 2021 and got a job in April, while I was still taking the classes. Our facilitators Anthony and Vicki helped us in many ways to get jobs such as resume building, things to avoid/do, pitch presentation and keyword matching.
The classes are well paced and involves frequent assignments and revisions.

NCP is a great place to start career in Canada. Zunaira and Jessica are amazing mentors. They are always been so co-operative and helpful. They always replied me instantly whenever I need guidance from them. No matter whatever I say to praise them is less. Thank you so much for being so supportive during my co-op journey. I highly recommend this place according to the amazing experience that I had with Mrs. Zoherh Sedaghat. I believe that such a hardworking, very knowledgeable, responsible, responsive and supportive staff is the most valuable asset of the newcomer centre of Peel. She friendly continued supporting me remotely during the COVID-19 outbreak in a professional manner. I can easily say that this was my best experience in Canada.

I was literally shocked at how efficient and quick the service was. I was worried for a few weeks for attestation of some of my documents. However, when I met Zohreh Sedaghat she solved my problem really nicely. She handled my problems with care, efficiency and professionalism. Apart from the actual work, she was also very kind and understanding, I will definitely be coming here more often! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking help and guidance specially because of my excellent experience with Zohreh Sedaghat.
