La Villa Bakery and Café

Fresh baked pastries and cakes absolutely delicious. They also serve hot food such as veal sandwiches, pizza, rice balls. They also have the most delicious freshly baked croissants daily. But you better get there early. Because they sell out so fast. Because they are so good, but not to worry. You are able to call and let them know you want to order. However, many for the next day and they will make sure to put some aside for you which is awesome. They have treats like cheesecake and brownies. And pies is definitely a place that you should visit. They even have freshly baked bread that you can purchase. I can't say more great things about them. It's just a lovely local business that we should definitely support.

Food is great, this business has been here forever! If your looking for a sit down restaurant in Port Credit for the morning/lunch time consider La Villa. You can leave a tip, but it's basically optional, which helps keep it affordable. I come every Saturday for the Saturday breakfast and apple fritters, but there are specials on other days like ravioli(Wednesdays) and other great items. Come in at the wrong moment and there will be a decent line, but the service is great and the staff is awesome!

My wife and I were in Mississauga from October 23 to May 24. We came to this bakery almost daily. The food was so delicious and you could tell it was made with love and care. The staff was always very welcoming and they became our only friends really. We are from Oklahoma and missed being home. The staff here made us feel less lonely, and that is something my wife and I are eternally grateful for. Thank you for everything

We were visiting family and they recommended this place for breakfast, and sandwiches. It was really delicious! We grabbed some custard tarts as well and wanted to pick up more before we left, but it is closed on Sunday.

This place is a real gem. The pizza is delicious. I'd recommend any of the slices. However, the meatlovers is quite special.

This bakery is fabulous. I usually get the pizza from them. The dough is so well made and fresh and the slice is loaded. 100% would recommend. The staff is also excellent- kind, quick and efficient. I'll always keep coming back. Thanks for the delicious food!

Very nice family run bakery been on port credit for decades. The cakes , cookies , bread or any sweets this bakery nails it. Also the pizza slices are fresh, yummy and big at the same time.

Wow!! Excellent food!!! Pizza is out of this world!!! So many to choose from. We went on a Saturday morning at 11:30 and the timing was perfect, line really started to lengthen after us. They had lots of good staff so everything ran very well. Street parking if you are lucky but you must pay. Few tables outside and we sat with our dog. Food is incredible!!! Must get pizza and apple fritters!!! Did I say the food is incredible? Enjoy!

Love this bakery!!! Their pizzas are amazing, especially their eggplant Parm pizza. Their baked sweet treats are also always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend

Any time I'm remotely in the area, I will detour if necessary to purchase bread and sweets... amazing! I can't eat any other pizza but their's now! I'm going to a Blue Jays ball game in a few days. I plan to detour to La Villa Bakery. I have a hard time buying a small amount of anything there. Good thing I live a few hours away!

I recently discovered this place and I think it is fantastic! It has old school vibe with some charm and comfort. The several products that I have tried so far have all been really good. The prices are reasonable and based on the quality offer a good value. Thank you La Villa for doing what you do so well. I'll be seeing you again soon.

This is truly a gem right on the edge of Lakeview and Port Credit. I have been going to La Villa since 1998 and even though I no longer live in the city, I will go out of my way for their bread, pizzas and pastries.
They make fresh donuts and fritters on Saturdays, and 16” fancy flat breads (aka vegan/vegetarian pizzas).
Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

Awesome bakery, great quality!

I recently moved down the street from La Villa, so we wanted to check it out. We make a lot of homemade pizzas, so we had to try their dough. It is amazing so light and airy. Sometimes we buy it and freeze it and the quality stays the same. During the pandemic they started selling flour and other baking essentials as well which was extremely helpful! The pies, and other pastries are delicious and very affordable.

A great bakery with very reasonable prices. Their pizza slices are $3-4 and if you’re buying yesterday’s, they sell those at $2 early morning.

Here are my favourite foods:
1. Pizza: meat lover, Hawaiian.
2. Coffee: cappuccino with chocolate.
3. Baked goods: rum balls (to die for! And they are only $5 for 4); date square; and pecan pie.

To be honest, the desserts are slightly too sweet. But not as overwhelmingly sweet as Tim Horton’s.

I see a bunch of people buying their bread, sandwiches and hot table items. I haven’t tried those yet, but judging from how popular they are, people live them too.

The only downside: one of the sales people, the older lady, isn’t always nice. In fact, she’s somewhat rude to both clients and the staff. I’m not sure if she’s the owner or not, but sometimes I get the impression her employees/coworkers may quit because of her.
