Nova Pastry & Bakery

I have been visiting Nova bakery for 4 years now. Very nice portuguese bakery and grocery store! They have a wide variety of excellent assortment bread, fresh desserts, delicious cakes, and lots of grocery items. I loved all their breads.

I know many of the staff and every one of them are warm and welcoming.

There is also a seating area in the store to eat your desserts and drink coffee! This shop is next to the beautiful Ukrainian Church.Highly recommend making the trip.

I ordered a baby shower cake for my daughter. It was a custom cake that the wonderful bakers at Nova worked hard to help bring my vision into reality. The theme for the the shower was Winnie the Pooh and they created the the most spectacular cake that was beyond my expectations. It was a huge hit at the shower! Thank you to everyone at Nova Bakery for making my daughters shower so special!

Everything is always AMAZING here. They have even updated the fridges and freezers. Staff is always knowledgeable and professional while still being friendly. Love this place!

Nice bakery in the area, great variety and prices are reasonable. We try a few things and everything was fresh and tasty. Will repeat soon

Wonderful bakery and cafe! You can pop in for a quick latte or grab your desserts to go. I've been coming here for years, especially for their infamous Caramel Custard! They offer a wide variety of freshly baked breads, sandwiches, pastries, cakes, custards, and more!

Great European bakery and grocery store! They have a wide variety of fresh bread, portuguese desserts, cakes, and lots of grocery items. I loved all their pastries / baked goods especially their custard tarts and flan! 🍮 A must try!! I could eat the whole flan in a few days myself.

The staff is very friendly and helpful in suggesting new things to try in their bakery.

Been going here for years since it's very close to where I went to high school. The baked goods are so great and they sometimes have chocolate covered strawberries that are to die for.

There is a little eating area inside the market for people to sit at and eat, and it's always bustling - huge fan of that aesthetic.

These desserts are amazing!!! If you ever stop by this bakery place....get butter tart and rice pudding. They are delicious!! I am definitely going back to the bakery when I come back to Canada!!

Been coming here for 20+ years. The yummiest cakes hands down. Bread is also so good. Came all the way from Toronto for the Cappuccino Pound cake (but they were sold out) 😞 but it's all good. Got the mocha cake and a lemon 🍋 cake instead and some biscuits and pizza diugh .. let me tell you it never disappoints 🙏😍

They have great pastries call my very friendly staff great help if you need it. A great selection of cakes and pastries and sandwiches. And they're very quick to help you there's no line up to get inside there's handicap parking in handicap entrance actually not an entrance but somebody will help enter you into the store if you need to be helped and there is wheelchair handicap parking other than that there's everything you can think of it's very very fresh like the freshest breads the freshest desserts I love this place it's the best I go there almost every day and their custard tarts are amazing you got to try them I go there just for those sometimes oh my gosh they are amazing I highly recommend going to try those and their cheesecakes and their cakes but they're those custard tarts are amazing and then they have ones with Nutella on them they cost a little bit extra but they're not that expensive like a dollar or something for the regular custard tarts and maybe like $2 for the ones with nutella. And they're very friendly staff and they're very quick to help you and there's no way ever so it's very fast and you can get cakes or order cakes for birthdays or weddings or whatever. And the very moist and fresh everything in there is moist and fresh and soft and so delicious everything is very fresh made daily and, the strawberry shortcake cake with white chocolate on the shavings on the outside oh my gosh you have to try that it's amazing I get that for my mom's birthday a lot cuz she likes really likes that one like she always asks me to get that one and my sister is getting sick of it so many times but I love it, it's so good it's amazing I love it too the white chocolate on a cake with strawberries and very moist filling and white cake in the middle with white shavings of chocolate on the outside with strawberries on the top oh my gosh it's to die for. Excellent fresh bread first thing in the morning. Great place to visit for an early espresso. Place is busy as early morning rush comes in for espresso before work.

Excellent assortment of pastries,cakes and other baked goods. Great little coffee nook with fresh items and a market shop for portugese goods. The Nova in Brampton provides far less varieties so making the trip to this location is worth it!! Love their cakes and bread!!

Any time of day is great to drop by Nova Bakery. They have a wide selection of fresh bread and pastries. I enjoy going first thing in the morning, the buns come out of the oven, and you can still feel the warmth come off them.

They also have a wonderful deli selection to choose cold cuts/cheese from. They have a tasty pastries/desert area that offers a variety of cakes to homemade cookies and merengue.
The Portuguese tarts are one of the best in the city!

There is a small variety store inside the bakery that has the essentials and some products from Europe. I have had a bite to eat in the cafe too, I like to have the espresso and hot panini sandwiches.

The staff is great, cortous, and they hold their cool even when it's jam-packed. They have a rush of people come in, and yet they still serve you with a big smile.

There are a variety of baked products available 😋, including (slice) cake(s) 🥮, fresh bread 🥖🥐, donuts 🍩 (my favourite was the plain donut 🥸), and more. There are also some tasty drinks ☕ available. They also sell items similar to a store, such as milk 🥛, cheese 🧀, olives 🫒, and other items. The space is well-kept and well-organized. The service is quick  and efficient.

I get excited. Bread and dessert made fresh on site everyday. Cafe bar cappuccinos lattes espressos coffee steak brisket sandwiches grillcheese sodas and other drinks. Come in and enjoy the Cake 🎂 Menu & more

This morning I was passing by, when I say Bakery, I was craving for pastry, so I enter this cute Portuguese Bakery for 1st time and loved it. I ordered one each of most of the desserts, they were amazing. Loved, how this place is so authentic, so original. All the people working there were so sweet, you are well taken care off. The prices are soooo reasonable. If going early morning, you can enjoy coffee and dessert and enjoy your day 😊. I loved this place, will visit again. It's beautiful, how food connects the world, even though I have never been to Ukraine, loved the food.. this Bakery is next to Beautiful Ukrainian Church..⛪

Amazing owner, what a lovely lady she very friendly and well known, pastures are made fresh and her cakes are made with love. Staff are ready to help and kind. The bakery has a dine in option and a patio, you can have lunch here

Great bakery with fresh pastries, breads etc. Ended up having an espresso with a cheese sandwich, which hit the spot for an early breakfast.
Brought home some cheese sticks, canoli and other pastries.
Definite recommendation!

Nova Bakery is our favourite Bakery for fresh desserts. They bake a wide selection including Portuguese Tarts, Milk Tarts, Muffins (Orange, Almond, Bean, Passion Fruit), Rum Balls and Cannelloni. The variety makes it easy to create a custom package for the family, client gifts and events.
The quality is excellent and their baked goods are served direct from the oven. Nova has a large, knowledgeable staff to serve the high number of customers that arrive throughout the day from early morning to late evening.
We also found a local Italian bakery located a few km East of Nova that sells our favourite item - Portuguese Tarts. However, the staff mentioned that they actually buy them from a Portuguese bakery. Hmm, I wonder which one?

Try the caramel pudding, the best in GTA.
I got 3 large round and there were 40 guests (20 families) approximately. The pudding was completed within a eye blink.. Hahaha
I shared the address with all of them.
