Lazio Italian Bakery & Deli Ltd

I have been a regular customer from when Lazio's first opened, approximately the the last 36 years. This year, 2023, the the store has reach master level Italian bakery (quality, taste, freshness, customer service, experience). Here are a very very few of the amazing products that put it at that level that I recommend: rosemary focaccia, gelato, ricotta cannoli, Portuguese tarts, amaretti cookies, dinner rolls, panettone (during the holidays), olive ciabatta bread.

The owner is phenomenal! Very hospitable, helpful and kind! The bakery is very clean! The service is great, they're always ready to customize an order if need be! Very friendly workers! Bread is fresh! They have delicious olive buns and foccaccia bread that you can't find in many bakeries!

This bakery has stood the test of time for a reason!! They've got the best Italian buns in the country and don't even get me started on their cannolli's! If you want some fantastic bread and Italian grocery items, this is the place to go =). I've been a customer here for over 20 years and counting. Keep it up, Maurizio!

Lovely bakery! The hot food table has a wide variety of Italian favourites and the food is delicious! Great deli selection and dessert selection! Love the vibe of the place, when you walk in it feels like you are at home with family! The smell of the fresh bread being baked is heavenly!

Great bakery. Has hot table, freshly sliced cold cuts, fresh daily bread and cakes and pasteries. They also cater whatever you want. Lasagna, veal, porches take etc...

I found Lazio Italian Bakery by chance on Maps and so happy that I found this gem. The most delicious slice of vegetarian pizza and tiramisu dessert was purchased here! The highlight was the $8 price tag for lunch- reasonable for the portions.

Service was fast on a busy Sunday afternoon, I was in-and-out in less than 5 minutes.

Looking forward to another visit when I'm in the area.

Wonderful little bakery, busy on the weekends so heads up! Great selection and variety, helpful staff, delicious food that's always fresh.. cannot recommend them enough (especially the gelato when it's available)

Their hot table has some of THE BEST pasta-- the cheese ravioli is so good, you don't miss the meat!

If you want fresh pastries, I highly suggest to come here, and call ahead if you're looking for certain items or want large orders... I'm a fan of cannolis 💜

They also have a coffee/espresso bar that's brewed fresh daily/regularly, the place always smells delightful-- but it's a bakery, it always smells great (unless you don't like the smell of fresh bread... And if you don't why are you there???)

I bought Pretzel Bagels yesterday, and there's only one left today 🙃 they rarely last in my house!

2 - the hospitality of the workers was high level, they are very nice all the time doesn’t matter how much they are busy all the time they smiled in you face 😊😊
3 - all the time, the workers and store are clean cut 🤩🤩
4- what i like, the owner all the time there working with them 👨🏻‍🍳
5- all baked, frozen and gelato products was my favorite one 🥧🍰🥐🫔🍧
6- the price cheaper than the franchise cafe!! 🤑💵

Very nice Italian bakery. The pizzas are very good.

Love the place. Fresh bread, great selection of cold meats, fresh icecream/gelato/sorbets, great cheese and to top it very friendly service. Prices are reasonable. Good place to pick up deli, quick eats, different breads, Italian food. I visit the place pretty regularly.

Update: best gelato ever and now available in take away packs.

If you're going to any other bakery you're making the wrong decision. The hot table is fantastic, the catering is amazing, , the gelato is fresh and made in store, and all of the baked goods are to die for. Jon and his family do a great job and treat me like family every time I step foot in the bakery regardless of how busy it is! Would recommend to anyone looking for catering, a hot table, or a simple espresso and gelato.

A great place to go if you want freshly baked bread of all types. My personal favorite is the Focaccia which is just out of this world.

In addition the Tharali and other Italian delicacies are a treat.

Lovely bakery, great customer service. The custard fruit cakes are amazing my family loves them! We ordered it for two birthdays and mothers day. Definitely a staple for occasions in my family . 🙂

Have the say first visit yesterday and the canoli's are the BEST in town seriously decadent can't imagine what the other sweets and pastries taste like! Can tell why they are so popular staff have pleasant demeanor their is a cooked food section, fresh baked breads, other snacks like nuts pasta looked appetizing and jams I spotted the gelato had to have. It was peach flavor $4.99 for a small very creamy how I like it can't wait to come back and see what to try next!

Super sweet workers!! Canolies were delicious! I like how they let us do half-half for the gelato flavours. We tried the hazelnut and mocha almond fudge and they were both really strong in flavour! Would definitely recommend and would come again!

Went to Lazio's under the recommendation of a lot of my Italian acquaintances for authentic homemade gelato, and I wasn't disappointed! I had the lemon, mango, hazelnut, and tiramisu gelato flavors to try and so far they all tasted great! The lemon is refreshing and tangy! But if I had to pick a favorite right now it'd be the hazelnut gelato!
They also sell gelato by the pint or pan, though I think the pint is cheaper as I bought some mango sorbet in a pint to bring home.
Lazio's has a wonderful selection of cold cut sandwiches, desserts, and dry goods. The next time I come back I'll definitely buy a dessert or cake there along with more gelato!

This place is amazing. They have great customer service and very friendly and helpful staff. Everything here is great and very authentic. The veal sandwich, pizza, panini buns, biscotti and especially the cannoli's here which are the best. They also totally made my mom's day for her birthday with the Italian rum cake I ordered a few days in advance and it turned out perfect. It was my mom's favorite and it tasted delicious. I highly recommend going here.

Really nice place. Amazing macarons, good variety of sweets, they are delicious. Unfortunately, they don't have tables here.

Everything in this bakery is fresh & delicious.
I recently picked up some slices of pizza that were great. But my current favorite is the coffee eclairs - not too sweet, perfect proportion of coffee and so fresh!!
I've also picked up sliced meats and cheese and I've never been disappointed.
Must try if you are in the area!
