La Casa Dolce Bakery & Cafe

My partner and I had ordered a wedding cake initially and we couldn't have chosen a better bakery! Vanessa was the cake consultant who has been very wonderful throughout the consultation and the wedding event; she was very knowledgeable and thorough. We had sample tasting of their 4 most popular flavours and went with lemon & raspberry. Their design team was also super talented; we had shared our ideas and asked to drop off the floral decorations with the colour scheme we wanted, and they went above and beyond! We had the wedding cake delivered to our venue which arrived on time in perfection. Our wedding guests gave many compliments saying the cake was both beautiful and delicious.

After the wedding event, we had decided to order another cake for our family holiday gathering and reached out to Vanessa again. Since this one was supposed to be more casual, we had selected a slab cake and requested to have a simple Merry Christmas written on the cake. Then Vanessa kindly asked if we wanted the cake to be decorated, and at that moment I knew I didn't have to worry about it and left it entirely with Vanessa and the design team. The cake was a hit and everyone loved it so much! The portion was definitely generous and the flavour was delicious (we went with lemon & raspberry again).

Overall, I highly recommend La Casa Dolce bakery as they have such a talented team who can deliver quality cake for special occasions. Thanks to Vanessa and the team, the cakes made our wedding and family event so much more special.

Beautiful bakery with delicious smells, indoor and outdoor seating and good coffee. I only had a small pastry here but it was very good and the latter was also delicious. The place was very clean and the staff is nice. Everything looks good here even though I didn’t eat any of there actual food l.

Lovely Italian bakery at Queensway and Cawthra. Fantastic croissants and excellent coffee. The people are genuinely friendly. There is a great selection of pastries and cakes. Although Italian they also have a more European flair to pastries. They also offer great looking sandwiches on either baguette or croissant, a small hot table with veal or chicken Parmesan on a bun and pizza. There are tables inside and outside too. A great find.

Must have drove by this place a thousand times and never visited and then finally by chance I did. love it! The sandwiches, pizza, deserts everything is delicious. You must try this place. The employees are top notch always happy and ready to serve!

Got an edible image cake for my son's birthday and have nothing but good things to say about La Casa Dolce. From the staff who are super kind and helpful with advise on the different cake options to choose from to the quality of the cake which came out great, not to mention the amazing job they did not only printing the image I provided with incredible quality but also modifying it to add the "Happy Birthday" message perfectly blended with the image and decorating the borders with colours matching the image. Hats off for the design job and awesome customer service.
I've never written a Google review before but I'm so glad with my experience with them that I decided to do it this time. Definitely recommend this place and will be back for sure!

Mel, Meave and Sierra are the best ladies working there, I ended up coming after close they still served me. They are amazing and the cakes are the best!! Thank you ladies and I recommend to all. Strawberry short cake is the best

AN UPDATE:
A beautiful summer morning to sit on the patio with a beautiful ham and cheese sandwich on a delicious crusty bun and a rich dark coffee....and try to imagine I am on a street in Paris.
Remains a go-to when I am in this part of THE SAUG.

Morning breakfast wrap of egg, bacon, ham, and cheese with a coffee was quite substantial and still able to sit out on the patio on this lovely fall morning.
Also picked up some ALMOND COOKIES.....melt-in-the-mouth delectable but they are a tad pricey...but worth it. ( $4.19 per 100 grams......a dozen was almost $24....which makes them about $2 each....so savour them.)

One of the best bakeries I've been to! Soo many good fresh pastry options. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Staff are extremely friendly too! 😋

I recently tried this bakery for the first time and decided that this is my new favourite go-to place for treats. Their donuts are really well-made.. so soft! Their Boston Cream donut was infinitely tastier than the one from the popular donut shop we all know.

I loved the tiramisu - it was my favourite! I was surprised to see how inexpensive the tiramisu was for its size compared to some other bakeries and restaurants.

I haven't sat on their outside patio but it looks like a lovely place to enjoy a coffee and treat. I can see why this place is rated so well! I am looking forward to trying more of their offerings.

My favourite bakery ❤. I will never order my cakes from any other bakery other than La Casa Dolce. They are the best when it comes to flavour and presentation. The attention to detail is amazing! Highly recommend.

Used La Casa Dolce for my wedding cake in Nov 2021 and they were INCREDIBLE! From the start we were made to feel very welcome and were invited to a cake tasting. Once we found out how delicious the cake was (and how affordable they were!) we were set. They were able to incorporate flowers from my florist, and they delivered the cake on time and in pristine condition. It looked beautiful and tasted amazing. The flavours we chose were Red Velvet, Vanilla Bean and Lemon-Raspberry. I will definitely be using them again for our next big event (baptism)!

Great coffee and huge selection of Italian baked goodies.

Been here several times, tried their pizza slice 🍕, apple turnover 🍎, cookie 🍪, donut 🍩 and some cold desserts... Always paired with a hot cuppa coffee ☕. During warmer seasons, they have seating outdoors and most recently new indoors seating with the cold weather❄.

Friendly staff and super efficient. Will be back.

I came here for the first time, I heard this place was good so while I was around the area, I had the chance to come by. Everything looked so delicious! They have sandwiches, drinks, cookies, and alot more.

Everyone was welcoming and helpful. I got some cookies and pastries. They were yummy, I really enjoyed the cannolis.

I'd definitely come back here and try other goodies they have.

Mouth watering range of cookies , pastries and cakes. This is my first time to the bakery and impressed. Very friendly staff, nice variety of cookies with different flavors and right proportion, fresh ingredients, specialty beverages and nice menu.Staff does take time to customize and let you know if some thing is not available at that point in time and give you options to choose (Which i personally experienced in my case). A small sit out inside the bakery with television to enjoy the snack.
Totally worth visiting and giving a try.

Vanessa helped me every step of the way of the ordering process, and Mel went above and beyond to help me day of.

All the staff at La Casa Dolce are friendly and knowledgeable and we will for sure be back.

The most important part- the treats were delicious! Both staff and customers loved them!

Love this place, if I could eat unlimited calories, I would go here every day. The service is always great, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the cookies here melt in your mouth. I've purchased a number of birthday cakes, cakes for showes etc. It has always been a 10. Also the coffee... please have their cappuccino... or even regular coffee.

Visited for the first time after seeing this recommended online. Ordered a brewed coffee, iced latte, butter croissant, donut and these Italian cookies/crackers(?). I really enjoyed all the items aside from the coffee which was a bit week in flavour. The donut was Nutella and had a good flavour and texture. The most surprising items were the ring cookies. I’ve had these in the past and didn’t enjoy them but my wife loves homemade ones she was gifted before. These matched those and are very addictive. The fennel taste is subtle and not strong as I’ve had on other breads. Overall the prices seem okay too with the iced latte at $3.75 being pretty reasonable. $3 donuts are a bit higher but expected for the freshness. I can’t wait to go back to try their pizza or sandwiches. Staff was super friendly too although it’s ordering process was a bit chaotic…just grab someone’s attention and they’ll help you get what you need :)

Le Casa Dolce did my baby shower cake this past weekend and it was absolutely stunning. My guests were raving about the design and the taste - thank you again Vanessa for all your help with putting my vision together! Melissa thank you for delivering on time and being so helpful! Your team is always a gem to work with!
