Nicole and her team did an exceptional job on our wedding cake. It was so delicious and it was done exactly how I envisioned it to be. She made our cake topper too and I'm so grateful for that! Got a tremendous amount of compliments on our 2 flavours, banana + cinnamon cream cheese filling and Hazelnut chocolate. Again, thank you so much, Nicole!

Typically I don’t post reviews, but Nicole is a amazing baker I’ve used on multiple occasions including my wedding ! She has always done and incredible job and made it fun along the way. Her cakes are beautiful and tasty. Would definitely recommend you give her a go.

I consulted with many bakeries for my sister’s baby shower before ordering a cake from this one. As someone who works in the hospitality and events industry, I have had the chance to try a variety of cakes and pastries; and was impressed with the care and service provided by the Lipstick Baker Team! Our families devoured the cupcakes instantly and were in awe of how beautiful the cake was. Aside from the phenomenal presentation, the cake was delicious, and the buttercream frosting was light, creamy and addicting. The ordering process ran smoothly, as Julie was very professional and responsive via email. A trusted bakery for custom cakes, I highly recommend this business to many people.

I'm glad I found Lipstick baker when I was helping my brother plan for his wedding. The cake was delicious, but what really impressed me was the team's ability to make the wedding planning process less stressful. Nicole/Julie guided us all throughout - letting us know what kind of cake would be best (size, design, and kind of frosting) for the wedding. This made the decision process really easy. We just showed the team a few inspiration pictures for the cake and the team delivered. The cake turned out amazing and the bride could not be happier with the way it turned out. Julie and Nicole were also always quick to respond!

Holy moly. I have had treats from lipstick baker maybe 8 times. I never ever ever purchase any sweets. Especially from a small business like this. But I’ll tell you this - best cake, mousse cups, customer service and friendly faces I have ever witnessed. My entire family loves everything they’ve tried. I found out about this business from instagram while looking for my daughters first birthday cake: the communication I received while waiting for my cake was top notch. She even delivered it to my house, to my apartment during covid. I can’t explain how much I appreciate this company. The mousse cups....the best dessert I’ve ever had, hands down. The quality of the cake feels like you are eating luxury. Y’all can charge more. I would come back even with a 50% price increase. Lol. Dead serious. You have to follow their Instagram to get in on flash deals etc. The best. Thank you all at lipstick baker! Xo (some of these were training cakes at a discount-soooooooo worth it! Had a rush order done and I hoped my surprise would not be missed.....it wasn't!!!

I loved the cake order I placed. The customer experience I had despite ordering just days before needing my cake was amazing. The flexibility of communication as well as the attention to detail was refreshing.

Also when I picked up the cake, it was exactly as it should have been. Then it tasted AAMAZZIING!!! Just all-round delicious!!!

I picked up a cake today for my daughter's 1st birthday that my wife had previously ordered. The cake was beautifully made and tasted great. The owner was very concerned and obviously took pride in her work, reminding me to keep the cake on the floor of the car (as you can see from the picture) and advising me to let it sit outside for a while to soften the butter/cream. We will definitely be back for more cake in future occasions!

I personally used Nicole for my Mother's Birthday cake and it was beyond my expectations. It's one thing to have a cake that aesthetically looks beautiful but it's another to have one that is well crafted and tastes just as delicious. Nicole created the most beautiful and one of the most delicious cakes for our baby shower! Everyone at the party raved about how it was of the best tasting cakes they’ve ever had! This cake was ordered for my birthday and I was told it was made from a woman who she knew in school. I was shocked how well it was made. Even more shocked how well it tasted. I had a master chef try it and he even said this cake is “out of this world, excellent quality and taste”. Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a cake for any occasion, order it here!

I’ve purchased two cakes from Lipstick baker and both times have had my expectations blown out of the water! Julie does an amazing job with her attention to detail on each of her cakes, is absolutely amazing with prompt communication & offers amazing flavour options as well. Both cakes were beautiful, didn’t use too much fondant & the cakes were delicious! Not overpoweringly sweet & had fresh fruit in them as well. I will definitely be using Lipstick Baker as my custom cake go to for the foreseeable future!

Nicole has been my go-to for cakes for 3 years now. I don't get cakes from anyone else anymore. Recently she made the cake for my son's 2nd birthday and it was amazing! Everyone loved the buttercream, the flavour, and of course the design was so so so incredibly professional. I had a bit of a communication error with her Assistant regarding the design but Nicole fixed it right away for me. She is sooo nice and kind to work with. Thank you Nicole for always bringing me the best cakes!

I organized an engagement party for my son and his fiance earlier this month. I ran across Lipstick Baker on a google search and decided to give them a try. Not only was the cake absolutely gorgeous, it was delicious. I am always concerned about cakes being too sweet. This one was perfect. Not a piece left over. Everyone loved it. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Nicole did an amazing job with a birthday cake I ordered. Her creative freedom brought my ideas to light and everyone raved about the flavours! I ordered a vegan cake, and NO ONE would ever be able to tell the difference. Soft, moist, flavourful. Thank you for your hard work and I will be ordering again soon!!
