I have been coming to this shop since i discovered its existance during covid-19 when i started in the hobby. it quickly became my go-toshop for everything possible. the owner is so nice and trustworthy. he always walks me through any new processes I have to do such as my quarantine tank and what to and not to do. the fish I bought from this place have always been happy and healthy so far. honestly the prices are so much better that anywhere else ive shopped at it is maybe 35 minutes from my house in toroonto but is is well worth thr trip. you may spend $20 on gas but you will save $1000s on your fish and corals and anything else you may need for your tank.
just recently there was a sale on purple tangs priced insanely at $99.99 while other shops in the area are selling them for $549.99 which is insane!!
there are not many places that i trust when it comes to buying live stock for my aquarium but this place is one of them.
10/10 i highly recommended this place!!
Also the store is always so clean and tidy with beautiful display tanks!!

I am starting on saltwater and got shock for the quality and variety. Got several amazing fish and invertebrates. Good prices too. All doing great. The staff was very honest, knowledgeable and friendly. Very happy. Looking forward to return soon

We were looking for a heater for our betta fish and chanced upon this store. So impressed with their saltwater fishes! And the corals are impressive and beautiful! Now I would like to have a saltwater aquarium!
The owner is friendly and helpful. I ended up buying spongebob’s house for my betta. But I can’t forget the exotic fishes they have. Would definitely buy from them if and when I decide to have saltwater aquarium.
UPDATE: We went back there planning to set up one of our aquaroums for a fish only with live rock tank. Abdul definitely helped us and explained in detail what we needed to do. We bought all the supplies to set up our tank. His son, Ahmed, was also of big help when we went back to buy more stuff. Such a friendly and helpful family-operated store! Highly recommended!

We drive in from kitchener every month or so. An excellent family owned shop and the prices are the most fair hands down and all fish look healthy and well taken care of.

Exotic Aquarium World is such an amazing fish, coral store with all accessories that you need in the hobby. They have high quality care for the livestock that they sell and so you are assured of high quality fish and coral that you will buy.

The prices are truly friendly and fair compared to the big fish stores and other coral stores within Mississauga area.

The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable of every fish and coral available in the store.

After finding this fish store and getting very healthy fish and corals, and having been treated very nicely by the owner/staff, it will be very hard for me to buy from any other stores.

Exotic Aquarium World in Mississauga is one of the best saltwater/reef aquarium stores in the GTA. The store offers the best fish selection in the whole Southern Ontario area, ranging from common fish (like blue/yellow/purple tangs) to rare fish (barracuda & sharks). Additionally, there is a great selection of corals including softies, lps and sps. Amazing variety of anemones too. The store has a crazy selection of inverts, including snails, starfishs, shrimps, crabs and so much more.

If you think that this is all what the store has to offer, respectfully, your're mistaken. Exotic Aquarium World has a vast supply of aquarium equipment, maintance products, foods (dry and frozen), and other needed products, which almost all of the products are carried from highly respected reef industry compaines (ex. AI, Hydra, Radion, Red Sea).

The owner, Abdul, is a super great and kind gentleman. He values his customers, therefore when asked questions he will always provide you with his experienced and accurate answers, rather than forcing you into a sale or providing you with false statements or facts.

Have I mentioned the store prices? Well, let me tell you, they are the best it gets. His prices on fish, coral, equipment, and food outcompetes the local competition by a mile.

The store itself is beautifully kept. Tanks are regulary cleaned, alage free, pest free. He values his lifestock deeply, thus fish are pest free too. Shelving for dry products are extremely organized and for the most part, easily accessible. The interior has an open concept, thus reducing crowding by a lot.

Livestock shipments are a regular occurence to the store, therefore the tanks are always stocked (stocked well and NOT overcrowded). The store really puts EXOTIC in Exotic Aquarium World, as rare creatures usually can be found, such as barracudas, sharks, and even octopuses.

I can't stress this enough, if you want extremely healthy fish, corals, inverts, & anemones and also in perfect condition equipment, this is the reef shop to go to.

Best aquarium shop in town, I found all my needs for my salt tank. The staff there are very friendly & kind.

This store lives up to its name! You can definitely see some interesting, cool, and exotic species at this store! The owner, Abdul, is always welcoming and happy to assist you with whatever you need. He has a great selection of corals, fish, and dry goods and also has super reasonable pricing. Abdul goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience at his store, I have never left his store unsatisfied. He is always happy to answer your questions and he will make sure you’re taken care of!

Prices are very good. Abdul (the owner) is a great guy. Very honest (which is a rarity in this hobby) and is happy to chat and share knowledge / insight. Interesting variety of marine livestock. Personally, I go two hours (1 way) out of my way to do business with this store. Would definitely recommend.

Exotic Aquarium World was great on getting my Red Sea Aquarium. Getting my product in a fast and professional manner. Always get my fish healthy and haven’t had a loss as of yet. :)

Been here a few times now. Always fair prices and a nice selection.
Coral and fish seam to be a bit higher quality then say big als.
