I'm currently setting up my first tank and with the amount of products on the market knowing what to buy is overwhelming. Went into the store today, they spent an hour with me recommending products and showing me what I need to get started properly. I left the store with everything I needed and a lot more knowledge. Amazing staff and great shopping experience.

I required a small part for our aging r/o unit and the company that the r/o unit was purchased from did not return calls or e-mails, so we bought a similar part from Aquarium Depot which turned out to not be an exact fit. We ordered another part through AD and I made a call to the shop about our situation. I was very pleased with the customer service over the phone and the new part fit great. I would definitely deal with them again.

I’ve been buying supplies from Hussein when he was selling out of his garage. I went to his recent grand opening, bought something and entered the raffle and ended up wining a AIO tank. I honestly wasn’t expecting it and if this doesn’t prove he’s legit honest I don’t know what is.

I order supplies and hardware from these guys on a regular basis. I have had orders delivered and I have picked up orders as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They stock a lot of parts as well. Their new location is really coming together.

They have a good website that allows you to order online for instore pickup, or you can walk into the store and place order on the spot. Very competitive pricing for livestock and some of the best prices for dry goods in GTA.

Staff are always helpful and friendly, not to mention a beautiful showroom with various livestock and corals. 😊

It was a small order and I called to see when it would ship and the fellow I spoke to said hey, even though it's a small order I'll send it out today. Sure enough it was picked up by Canada post that day. Thanks all of you, this in tank insert works perfect!

Packing was the best I've ever seen and came in MINT shape. Nice thick box and lots of packing material.

There was a mistake with one of my shipping, i have to say that it was the first time, so i took pictures and send them (i always take pictures when i unboxes my stuff so its easyer when there is a problem) and they gave me a new product with a compensation and it was resolve fast. Good service as always

Let me get right to the punchline: The service and dedication to the hobby exhibited by the staff and owner of Aquarium Depot is unparalleled. I will add, that I was a Distributor and Manufacturer Sales Representative in The Aquatic Industry for a number of years, calling on numerous retail stores and Distributors throughout Canada and Western New York, as well as being a life-long hobbyist.
My Vectra M1 crapped out and I got to Aquarium Depot at 6:30 PM last night. I was advised by Hussain Baig to go with a Sicce Syncra SDC 9.0 but lets say my plumbing knowledge is somewhere around zero.
Hussain Baig was extremely busy but he got to my condo at 8:30 PM that night with supplies and tools and set up my new pump. There is no way that I could have accomplished this on my own and he would not accept any payment for his service, time and expertise.
And the pump? Incredible! I am running it at 55% and that may be too high, while my M1 was running at 100%.

Started my saltwater journey with Hussain and his team at Aquarium Depot and I can tell he treats all his customers equally with fairness and respect! He ensured all the equipment is what I need and did not try to upsell me on anything. He went out of his way to get me a product that seem to have an error with no questions asked. Which is why I refer to all my family and friends to go to him and not the stores close to him which all they are interested is your money. Also, James whom works at the store took his time to educate me with starting a saltwater aquarium. Kudos to him !

I love this store, i always go there when i have to get big stuff, they have all kind of spare parts and big selection of dry goods, ill follow this store to the very end.

My go to for all my dry goods, owner helped me out big time when I was setting up my tank. Haven’t been to their new location but seems like they have alot of nice livestock available.

I made my first order with Aquarium Depot for a Neptune A3 System, and when I placed the order, it was on back order. I was starting to get a bit nervous as it was my first order with them, and I wasn’t familiar with their store, but Hussein and the team were able to quickly get my Neptune shipped and I can’t be happier! These folks know how to run a business! Super fast handling and shipping and top notch customer service. Definitely the place for any aquarist and reefer.

This is my second review posted here, and it is nothing short of warranted. I currently run a total of 5 salt water tanks, four being reefs. Biggest is 280 gal total water volume with full UV/ato/dosing. Since finding Aquarium Depot, I have bought 100% of my equipment and livestock from them.

The health of the corals and fish far exceed the quality/health at any other LFS. My only fish mortalities were two jumpers (firefish and diamond goby). Out of a total of about 25 fish bought from them, (including tangs and wrasses), I would call that pretty amazing. All fish are treated with care and respect, and they are 100% upfront with the medications they used. This is the only store I have found in the GTA and surrounding areas that is as honest and caring as these guys are. It says a lot that they are willing to take you in the back and show you the hospital/holding tanks with stock thats not yet showroom ready. Can't wait to see the new store evolve over the next few years. For reference, I drive 1.5 hours to this store from Kawartha Lakes because they are just that good. 1000/10 recommend.

The staff here is really exceptional. They’re clearly passionate and extremely knowledgeable. Best store experience we’ve had in the GTA.
