Tailwinds Georgian Bay

Absolutely amazing atmosphere on the lake. Outdoor seating available as well as clean indoor seating with a very nice interior. Food is amazing and place is very clean.

It's a great restaurant with top-notch service. The food was awesome. We didn't have to wait long at all. Very delicious.

Really good experience. Gorgeous view, live music, our waitress was really good and the food was super tasty (in particular the salmon burger and house salad). Would recommend and return here.

Tailwinds welcomed us right away and sat us near the bar. Short wait for a table to sit outside but wait staff brought us drinks right away. Sat outside on the patio overlooking Georgia bay, what a great dinner on the water! Excellent food and quick service. Great patio!

I always enjoy my meal, and the staff are amazing! Everything is delicious, but I highly recommend garlic bacon cheese bread, as well as lasagna soup. This visit we enjoyed the breakfast bacon blt wrap. You can often see a plane takeoff or land, and they are located on the water. Thank you, we will see you again soon!

Great waterfront restaurant in Parry Sound. Cozy atmosphere and really delicious food. We had Fish& Chips and the Blackened Catfish Burger. Price was on-par for eating out these days. Beer was cold.

There is one accessible bathroom on the main floor and others up two flights of stairs on the second floor.

Fantastic decor - Artwork from local artists and stuffed animals and fish on the walls. Great vibe!!!

We visited at the end of November and would child back in the summer to check out their huge patio!

Our first time here and did not disappoint.
Our meals were delicious and filing (blackened salmon burger and homemade beef and cheddar burger )

Great meal, fantastic staff, prompt and friendly service. I had the carrot soup of the day, Beef Brisket sandwich with a side greek salad, and decaf coffee, my wife had the chicken Ceaser salad, and my mother in law had the delicious fish and chips. . Everything was perfect, tasty and savoury, amazing views of the bay in a cold, blustery and rainy day. A near perfect meal and welcome respite from the nastiness outside.

Every time I have gone to Tailwinds, I have enjoyed myself. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the view, and the staff are all worth going back for. This time, my friends and I were greeted by a charming young gentleman who said we could sit wherever we liked and continued to give us the best service for our entire time there. He was exceptional at delivering the specials menu which included several new items, ribs being one of them. I usually have the salmon but had the ribs instead. They were so melt in your mouth incredible that I took an order of them to go. We found out this wonderful man is the manager, Chris. All I can say is Chris did a sensational job making 3 ladies have a fantastic time.
Seriously can't wait to go back!!

A very friendly and kind staff. Even though they are severely understaffed they were able to keep up with almost half of the full restaurant during the lunch time hour. Food came promptly and the portions were plenty big. Even though we got appetizers we still found ourselves quite full after only two plates.

Had the Jackfruit pulled pork sandwich and cauliflower bites. the waitress was nice enough to ask the cook to substitute bbq dor the buffalo sauce. The meal was great and service was even better. Great view as well. A must visit place!

Great patio on a warm Saturday night. Service was good (like everywhere under staffed so 35 minute wait to get a table but nice and attentive server). Fantastic live music and great to watch the float planes, cruise ships, seadoos and boats coming and going. Catfish sandwich was good(spicy). Great way to spend a Saturday night.

Great stopover enroute to Sault Ste Marie. The food was really good and the atmosphere was fantastic! Service was a bit slow but I hear staffing issues are tough since Covid. Overall a must visit!

Tailwinds was excellent. It’s off season in Parry Sound and tailwinds was very quiet when we got there. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant was spotless and sits on the lake - with a dock for seaplanes and boats. Chow was excellent as well - chicken club and burgers were all damn good.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at Tailwinds yesterday through and through. Great atmosphere. Tasty food. Though it was busy because of a show over at the Stockey, you’d never know thanks to the excellent service. If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, go here.

We missed our cruise and decided to make our day count anyway. Surprisingly had our one of best lunch for past two years. Delicious meals, friendly staffs, efficient services and great view; the overall experiences were exceptional. We will return soon.

Beautiful newly renovated restaurant right on the waters of Georgian Bay. Very large wrap around patio for outdoor dining, large bar with barstool chairs, large indoor dining room with picture window views of the lake. Food is fantastic, always fresh, never frozen. Very fun & friendly staff. Nice place to relax and unwind with friends & family. But be warned, it is in high demand during cottage season, so could be a wait at the door depending how busy. Totally worth it though 👌👌👌
