Terrawoods On Muskoka Shores

Had the pleasure of staying here this past weekend for a party and it was the most fun I’ve had in a while would definitely recommend booking with terrawoods resorts! We were a large party that were accommodated perfectly in the main house and the beachfront cottages! My stay in the 2 bedroom +loft cottage was excellent. There was plenty of towels, toilet paper and extra kitchen equipment. The owners were very easy to reach when anything was needed and we were able to comfortably sleep up to 10 people in our cottage alone! The beach was super clean and various activities were provided such as canoeing, kayaking, water trampoline and life jackets to keep everyone busy. One night was definitely not enough for us to do everything we wanted will definitely be returning :)

We ended up here for an impromptu weekend trip to finish off my vacation and I must admit, it exceeded my expectations! We had so much fun in the lake and on their inflatable water structures, jet ski and kayaks. We stayed in the lakeside cottage and it was very clean and surprisingly well stocked with items we may have needed for our stay. I love that they were pet friendly and my dog could also go for a swim in an isolated part of the beach so he wasn't left out of the fun. The staff were great too and everyone else at the resort was super friendly!

There is also bbq on site (you have to buy propane). and the bonfire pit in front of our cottage was the best way to end the night! Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here. It's cozy, cute and clean with a lovely private beach area!

Terrawoods On Muskoka Shores is a hidden gem! From the stunning cabins with modern comfort to the warm staff, every detail is perfect. The serene lake, kayaking, and hiking make it a dream getaway.

One of the highlights of my stay was the variety of activities available. Whether it was kayaking on the calm waters, Boating, Jetski, or simply unwinding by the lakeside bonfire, there was never a dull moment. The staff was more than happy to provide recommendations.

What truly set Terra woods On Muskoka Shores apart was the attention to detail and the personalized touch that infused every aspect of the stay. The staff's genuine care for the guests' well-being was evident, and it created an atmosphere that felt like being among friends rather than mere visitors.

Had the pleasure of attending Terrawoods on Muskoka for our weekend cottage trip. The owners Mr. Faisal, Ms. Rabia and Mr. Moeed made sure everything was up to speed during our stay. They were very welcoming and accommodating.

There's lots of fun stuff to do in-house like table tennis, billiards, board games, etc. The rooms are clean & spacious. The place is big enough to host multiple families with multiple washrooms and kitchens. The outside lodges have a good vibe going in them too.

The lakeside is fun with water trampolines, kayaks, canoes and jetskis. The place is tucked away in a corner at Horseshoe Lake which has lots of privacy for full-on big family fun.

Overall, I'd recommend the place and give it 5/5

We stayed here in the cabin by the beach. loved the view, service was great, staff was friendly, Water trampolines are must, Beach is clean. They have Tesla charges on site which made my driving experience better.
We had more fun then expected.
I recommend everyone who is looking for a weekend getaway to visit and stay at Terrawoods.

The ideal location for me to commemorate my anniversary was Terrawoods Muskoka. The cottage is fantastic. It is spotless and quite cozy. The Main House, Beach Suite, Point, Pines, and Beachside were our accommodations with my family and friends.
The water trampoline and kayaks were a hit, and the beach is excellent .
The celebration was made memorable by the proprietors, Faisal, Rabia & Moeed, who went above and above. I greatly appreciate it.
This cottage is fantastic, and I hope to visit it again soon.

Right place to celebrate your anniversary with friends and family. This cottage is absolutely gorgeous and has everything that one would require for a wonderful stay and more. Very well equipped and the interior is very nicely done. It is very comfortable and clean. We stayed at the Main house, beach suite, point, pines and beachside.
The beach is clean, loved the kayaking, boating and the water trampoline experience.
Faisal and Rabia, I cannot thank you enough for making my event special & memorable. They went above and beyond.
I would highly recommend this cottage and I am looking forward to booking this cottage again.

Serene place. Perfect get away from the city. Also, pretty much accessible to gas station and other conveniences.

Had a wonderful time from start to finish. We were a pretty big group, around 38 people including plenty of little kids. Place itself was easy to find, park and unload. We had rented 5 cottages: 3 - Three bedroom cottages and 2 - Two bedroom cottages. Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. One thing to note is that in each these cottages, one of the bedrooms will be in the loft at the top.
The cottages were very well maintained, neat and clean. I was worried about the washrooms on our way over but was pleasantly surprised when we got there. There wasn’t any hair dryer but I was fine since I had brought one just in case but it would be nice if there was those small mounted ones.
The cottage we were in also had nice ample lighting and plenty of room so it was nice to spend time indoors as well. There is also a smart tv and a comfy sofa to enjoy some tv time. Oven, coffee machine, microwave and fridge were all clean and functioned well. There was an AC in the hall and one AC in each of the bedrooms except for the loft but the cottage was plenty cool enough.
The beds….woah nice beds. It was an another thing we were unsure about. Fresh sheets with a firm comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Slept peacefully. I did take blankets with me in case it got cold at night it did come in handy especially for my kid.

Woke up to a beautiful sunrise (pictures attached) with undisturbed waters. We had wonderful weather thankfully. We had also rented their boat that could carry ~10 people so were able to go for a ride on the first day right at sunset. Gorgeous. The water and the sand area is clean and taken care of for kids to enjoy. Saw a turtle too. Great spot to take your Sea Doo and have a blast. Surprisingly not that many mosquitoes (the few that were there did still find me).

Last but not least the hosts were very hospitable especially Rabbia and they made sure that we were taken care of and were there if we needed anything.

Would definitely be returning back as it is just 2-3 hours away. Definitely would recommend as well.

I have spent entire week in terrawoods with my friends .such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend ur week , staff was really polite and professional. Place is super clean and newly built . There new boat is amazing (which u can rent and can take more then 8 people with u

2 hrs drive from GTA. We had such a wonderful weekend in this place with our family. Nice lake and beautiful cottage. Cottages are so clean and spacious. We rented 3 bedroom cottages, each cottage have its own kitchen and bathroom, TV, sofa, Dinning table. Beds are so comfy. This place book so fast. I think it’s a 3.5 acre property with private beach, volleyball court, boat ramp, boat and jetski docking. They do rent pontoon boat and jetski. We rented their pontoon and enjoyed with our family. Lake is so beautiful. They have inflatable bouncy in the lake kids will enjoy this a lot. Right front their end of the deck you can dive and swim. The host Rabbia and her husband both are really helpful and such a great persons. We are planning to visit every year summer to this place.

Went for a week day with freinds. Beautiful private cottage vibe. Owners and housekeeping staff are highly engaging and give personalized service. Stayed in the bunkies, common washroom is well maintained.

I had a wonderful experience with my family. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and also rented a Jet ski.
The cottage is located right on the highway. The rooms are very clean.

Nice escape just hours from Toronto, such a community feel at the resort. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Warm clean waters, new cabins, boat rental and great hospitality. We will be regulars here. ✌

Very nice and neatly maintained newly built cottages on Muskoka Shores. Fire pit, barbecue, in front of every cottage, nice volleyball court and many more... I recommend everyone who loves a peaceful stay away from the buzzling city life to visit Terrawoods and you will never be disappointed. Rabia and Qazi are great hosts and there for any help during your stay.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for some quiet time away from the city to enjoy nature with minimal beach traffic.
The chalet was clean, maintained and had lots of fun indoor games for the family too. The staff is friendly and very responsive.
All in all it is a great little retreat not too far from Toronto!!
