**Covid Hours Advisory [Important Information]:

The hours stated online and on the bank’s phone line are not correct. The only correct hours are posted in the window facing outside the branch, and are subject to change.

The branch and corporate are aware of the inconvenience this poses to customers but still have not updated their website nor their phone service message to reflect actual operational hours.

Additionally, some days the bank is open by appointment only for certain hours. They may have employees walking around, and customers inside, but are not open to the public.

I was physically disabled and bedbound for several years, during which I needed to open an account. Michael Ward went above and beyond and came to my home for my signatures to open the account.

Additionally, I ended up being in a restaurant behind Ty, who was picking up lunch orders for 5 or 6 people, which caused the wait to be longer than anticipated. He is so sweet and thoughtful that when he was finished paying for all of his orders he thanked me for waiting and paid for mine too. I had already had a bad day that day, but his kind act turned my bad day around.

Thank you ScotiaBank for employing such wonderful employees who are more than dedicated, but also kind and thoughtful of others. You have a life-long customer in me and my family.

Staff is nice but slow!! Waiting 35min to see the teller and people still ahead of me. Several people have walked out in frustration.

Imagine my surprise, trying to use the Scotiabank ATM on several occasions in Stony Plain, only to find signs on the door saying they are only available during the location banking hours.

The purpose of having ATM machines is for people who actually work during business hours, so only having your ATMs, both in the building and the drive-thru, that do not function outside of your business hours is completely ineffective, inefficient and does an absolute disservice to your customers. Do better!!

After years of Scotiabank's decline in branch services, telephone services and now hours and ATM availability only being open when the bank is I'm about done with Scotiabank. I can't even get an appointment for investments unless it's booked two weeks ahead. SERIOUSLY?! NO ATM UNLESS ITS AT BUISINESS HOURS?!

So legitimate question here. Why the hell do you even have ATM machines? Every time I'm here, the doors are locked. The drive thru machine works fine but deposits are unavailable. Withdrawals are also unavailable. So is your machine empty and full simultaneously? Is this Schrödingers ATM? Might my money be safer if I just leave it with the crackhead that hangs around here in the parking lot at night? Not everybody works bankers hours. Figure it out!

Poor service with even worse management style, how they still get business is beyond me! If you are to bank here, go to the one in Spruce Grove!

if Scotiabank is going to close the ATMs during non-business hours you should just remove them! or extend your operating hours to something actual people are able to come in.. perhaps hire a security company to be there during off hours to remove the homeless people that forced you to close the ATMs... Scotiabank needs to come up with something as the current situation is completely unacceptable.

Horrible bank to deal with they’re never open. They do realize that most people work between the hours of 8-5. Why are they not open later?

Financial advisors are a nightmare to get ahold of, they never return phone calls or emails. Had to go in in person a few times just to talk to someone since trying to contact them any other way was impossible. It was inconvenient to say the least.

The Scotia Bank call centre was horrible, I had to yell into the phone....took 20 minutes to find Stony Plain Alberta, Canada....I spelled it 4 times, I could have driven there in less time. And sorry but very difficult to communicate (ESL), terrible for a call centre not to be able to communicate. He said 4 other locations ....STONY PLAIN ALBERTA!!! Ugh get it together Scotia Bank, no wonder your reviews are terrible.
