Camping Tendaro

This camping experience is a gem if there ever was one. The proprietors are truly kind and wonderful people, generous, and did many things to make my stay very enjoyable. The facilities are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Camping Tendaro deserves seven stars instead of just five.

What a great find! The owners, Catherine and Jocelyn are truly living their dream and sharing their vision and values to provide an awesome all-season experience. I was cycle-touring and needed a place for the night. Even tho they were closed for upgrades, they took me in and what a delightful experience! Wonderful people, and a wonderful location!!

A wonderful camping site. The owner is wonderful and so caring about the people visiting. There are two toilets, and a shower. Very clean. They have fresh potable water, some herbs, beautiful views. I loved our stay there and I will definitely go back!
(They also very kind and speak to you in English if you do not speak French!)

We found this camping during a short roadtrip, and we wish we could have spend more time! The place is immaculate, big campground with little or more intimacy, depends on which you pick. The installations on each campground is way more you would expect from a camping. Each tables are under a nice wooden "gazebo", with hooks and shelves built in. ( See photos ) they also built a little "closet space" for your portable shower or toilet. A rope is installed so your garbage are out of reach of animal. Honestly a well thought out campground. You can see the St-Lawrence River from almost every installation. There's also really beautiful ready-to-camp installation, all hand-built in wood, with complete kitchen and double bed, super beautiful with a wall made in "wire mesh" so you can see the stars from inside and feel like you are sleeping outdoor! The owner was super nice! Great location!! I am so happy I found this place and can't wait to go back.

One of the best rustic camping sites I’ve ever been to. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The amenities are great: they have a station to wash your dishes, hot water, a place to put your empty beer cans and propane, etc. The campsites themselves are very spacious and private which makes for a comfortable stay.

This was one of the best camping sites I’ve ever been to; the super friendly and helpful owner, the beautiful view/landscape, the special touches at each site (ours had a hammock!), the space and privacy, a to refill water and wash dishes, everything was amazing! Wish it was closer to home so I could visit often but I will be back. :)

Thoughtfully built grounds with shelters, picnic tables, fire pits and privacy cubicles on each site; great to have shower, toilet, dishwashing, drinking water and morning coffee access in the reception! Gorgeous sites all with views of the St Lau, friendly fellow guests, dog friendly a huge bonus for me :)

Probably one of my favorite campings and so happy to have discovered this little gem! The owner is very friendly and the little touches around the camping really make a huge difference, you can tell he put lots of thoughts and work into it (ie. the gazebo for rain and privacy area on each campsite, solar showers, the plants, etc, it’s all so charming and beautiful) Can’t wait to revisit in the future!

Juste parfait! Les emplacements sont cosy et surtout couverts, les sanitaires sont propres et les gérants très très accueillants. Les emplacements sont grands, espacés mais aussi intimes.
Il y a possibilité d'avoir un bon café à la réception, mais aussi des oeufs tout frais. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits mais nous aurions volontiers prolongé d'une semaine!

Tout tout petit bémol, il n'y a pas de machine à laver (après 3 semaines de camping on en aurait eu bien besoin) mais cela n'entache pas du tout notre séjour dans ce très chouette camping!

Le Camping Tandaro est une perle rare que je hésite presque à divulguer, tant je souhaite le préserver comme un secret bien gardé. Avec son ample espace, son atmosphère intimiste et des installations d'une propreté impeccable, c'est un endroit exceptionnel. Je le recommande chaleureusement à tous ceux qui recherchent la sérénité et la qualité. Un véritable trésor caché à découvrir.

Les propriétaires sont attentionnés, sympathiques, très avenants et respectueux des clients. Très bel endroit, propre, sympathique, tranquille. Tout est amené gar avec soin et bien pensé. Nous avons loué la perdrix et sommes très satisfaits de l’installation qui possède tout ce qui faut pour un séjour agréable. Bien qu’il ai plu une partie de notre séjour nous avons été très confortables et au sec. Je recommande fortement cet endroit. Je reviendrai c’est certain.

J'ai adoré mon séjour au camping Tendaro! Le service est super, le site est propre et intime et les toilettes sont aussi propres que celles à la maison. C'était parfait. Nous avons même un peu regretté de ne pas avoir pris un plus long séjour. C'est certain qu'on va revenir!

Notre camping préféré! Les emplacements sont géniaux avec une magnifique vue sur le fleuve! Un espace de cuisine couvert pour les jours de pluie, mais surtout des propriétaires très accueillants et qui donnent de bons conseils! On recommande ce camping à tout le monde et on reviendra avec plaisir!

Cet endroit est un havre de paix. La vue est fantastique et les propriétaire aussi. Cette fois-ci, j'ai essayé la pilko du site du Chevreuil et vraiment, c'est une expérience à renouveler. Les matelas sont confortable et quand on a pas de tente, c'est parfait (on y dort bien mieux que dans une tente :) ) En plus, on peut contempler les étoiles confortablement dans notre lit. Tout le bonheur du camping sans la complication de traîner notre tente. Merci à Jocelyn et Catherine pour leur accueil chaleureux.

J'ai adoré mon séjour! Les propriétaires sont accueillants, l'endroit est propre et le tout est bien aménagé! L'offre des terrains est intéressante pour ceux qui veulent faire du camping nature dans un endroit calme et paisible. L'idée de rendre le camping plus autonome grâce aux chèvres, poules et le petit jardin est excellente et originale! J'y retournerai, c'est certain!

Le meilleur camping qu'on a fait! Tout est parfait! Les proprios, l'intimité de l'endroit, les oeufs des poules le matin,le four extérieur, les installations, les jeux, les toilettes/douches super propre, comme une douche à la maison. La vue aussi est belle.

Wow!! Nous n'y avons passé que 2 jours, mais je serais resté beaucoup plus longtemps! Endroit magnifique, très propre et les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Notre site offrait une vue imprenable sur le fleuve
