We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kimberley Riverside Campgrounds and as avid RVers we would easily rate this as the best campground we have ever experienced. Check in was a breeze and when we requested a reservation change, it was quickly facilitated. Staff are friendly, the grounds were clean and the area had amazing hiking trails. This campground was well thought out and sites beautifully designed for privacy and comfort. We highly recommend this campground to anyone planning on visiting the area. (They rent trailers too!)

Terrific campground. We loved everything about this place. Tons of great stuff to do. Awesome MB and hiking trails, golf courses etc. Kimberly is a great little town. Nice clean sites and washrooms. Clean pool too. Pricey but worth it. Our favorite site on our 2 week, 6 campsite trip.

What a hidden gem! My husband and I stayed in one of the glamping tents and we loved it! It’s located at the back of the campground, by the river, which made it feel secluded and special. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive to all of our requests and needs. They had an option to rent their kitchen supplies, which we did, and everything we could have needed was provided. The layout of the site was spacious and thoughtfully arranged with Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a fire pit with plenty of firewood for our stay. The tent and deck were much larger than we were expecting which was a nice surprise. We have recommended this experience to our friends and we will definitely be returning next summer!

Really loved this campsite. Beautiful breeze and the landscape is really beautiful by the water. No loud people and parties which I appreciated. No issues with electricity or water.

You can walk, mtb from the Campground to the Kimberley trail system. I made a $10 donation online for the few days I was there.

What an incredible piece of heaven. We had a wonderful five-day stay at the Kimberly Riverside Campground, I highly recommend this beautiful place. It should be noted though, that the entire campground is on the side of a mountain, so even if you pick a spot that looks close to the river on the site map, there is substantial grading between you and the river. This was only an issue for me because I am in a wheelchair. If mobility is at all an issue for you, you absolutely should choose a site as close to the pool and office area as possible, because you won't really get much out of the rest of the grounds as the river is fairly inaccessible to wheelchairs (just drive up and down!)
Otherwise, we have zero complaints!

My kids absolutely loved the pool, and the showers were fantastic with soft water which we really miss here in Calgary now that we are home 🤣 I used the laundry facilities as well which was nice. Wi-Fi is available all around the campground and we were able to stream shows and movies just fine.

The river is beautiful, and they have so many amenities here. You can get bocce balls and volleyballs from the office to use down in their grassy area by the river and has a Beach volley ball court. The river has sand right next to it but the sand is not too deep and not really suited for playing, but it's soft, and they have created a rock bordered area at the edge of the river for kids to play in the water safely. The river does have quite a strong current further out, so caution should be taken with kids.

There's a playground for the kids, there's mini golf that is actually wheelchair accessible, and there's even a ramped entry for the pool! I am able to stand on one leg and transfer from my power wheelchair, so I didn't need everything to be completely wheelchair accessible. I definitely would have struggled if I had brought my manual wheelchair though, with all those hills.

My kids loved biking around the property, there's so many trails and little areas for them to play on near the campsites. And there are little BMX style "jumps" at the end of some of the rows of sites that they enjoyed. Our dog loved all the incredibly long and intricate trails that she was able to go adventuring on with us, and one of the trails "rotary centennial trail" was actually quite accessible for my power wheelchair.

We had to leave early because of my health issues, but I hope we can come back someday!

We love this campground. We keep coming back multiple times a year. Mountain biking, good showers, good little store. The mini golf is fun and the pool is nice.

This was a fantastic campground! The people working here are lovely. They have free hot showers, the pool was a good temperature and great size. They have laundry facilities, a book drop, and a well provisioned store. They have mini golf, which was a very difficult course! It is in the woods, so expect big bugs, deer, and to have to keep trash indoors for bear awareness.

What a gem of a campsite. The staff was very accommodating, we called and got a site for the same day. Beautiful grounds with lots of activities. The showers are free and they were nice and clean. Would love to come back here again.

I stayed in a trapper tent which was near the St Mary river
So to bring what I needed was difficult as there was a hill down to the tent and it had gravel rocks to it made it more difficult to wheel my belongings to the tent
A asphalt trail to each tent would make it a lot easyier
Also it would help if someone would number the tent instead of guessing
On the way in to park, entrance into the trapper tent does not have a sigh letting a person know this is where the trapper tents are
It a beautiful place to hike and enjoy swimming in St Mary river
The children park is very beautiful to have all kinds of entertainment
And plenty of things to do for the little ones
At the trapper tent area there will be outdoor shower
The showers are very nice along with the pool

Awesome campground!!! We absolutely loved it!! There is so much to do and see, we need to come back and stay longer to fully enjoy everything! We loved the beautiful mini golf course and the swimming pool. We sites are more private then others. But even the middle rows have a level of privacy to them. We will definitely come back every year!

We really enjoyed this municipal campground however have learned that it has been bought out by the North star group as of last year from the city. They are slowly making changes including RV unit rentals on some of the sites and Glamping tents on the bottom levels the property (no washrooms - really odd).
This campground allows you to book 364 days in advance so it’s very very difficult to book a site unless you plan ahead. This is definitely a family friendly campground so be prepared it can be very noisy. We would like to be able to use the pool as adults but it’s usually overrun with children. The campground location is very close to downtown Kimberly and Marysville which we like. Great home base destination for biking the North Star rail trail and golfing in the area. Love Kimberley golf club - campground coupon got us 9 holes of golf for $25 walking AND we love Bootleg golf golf course and restaurant for lunch! This year we paid approximately $67 for our full service 50 amp site and I’ve heard rumours that the new North Star owners will be increasing these sites to well over $80 next year. Sadly they will price themselves right out of the market for us. Poor wifi, poor cellphone service and no cable.
What truly makes this campground fabulous however are the staff. The front check in desk staff are very patient and incredibly helpful and upbeat. They make us feel very welcome and no question is too dumb. They have a great ice cream treats available for purchase and quite the detailed camping store for last minute items you may have forgotten. We’re not big fans of the mini golf next door but it’s a try once for sure. Young children get bored on it quickly.
It would be nice if there were less seasonal RV sites to allow those wanting a 4-5 night stay an opportunity to camp here.

My step bro and I stopped by the campground while riding the BC Trail this year (2021). All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the walk-in site we had was big enough for 2 tents, close to the road but still felt secluded, it was also close to bathrooms, etc. but still quiet. One reviewer notes it was a like a dusty parking lot, but we didn't find that to be the case, could be they were in a different area though. I'd definitely stay again. One thing to keep in mind when looking at sites, there is a big hill down to the river.

It was very nice. The pool is well maintained, staff was very friendly. The office is fairly well stocked for camping-type stuff, mini golf on site, nice paved roads throughout. It is quite a big campground so the sites are a decent size. They are treed or done in a way that you have privacy. Only complaint is that the park is significantly far from most of the sites. It is a bigger park though, so if you have bigger kids they can enjoy a little freedom walking to/from. There is laundry on site @$3/wash, $1/20 minutes to dry. So unless you air dry about $6/load. The showers are actually hot, although I found them quite low, (I am 5'8"). If you are tall, you'll have to scrunch down a little but hey nice hot shower. There are tons of hiking trails all throughout the campground & despite being obviously well maintained it still feels natural because of all the trees. They sell wood on site and it is nice and dry, burns well. Close to town, (7mins), & well signed made it easy to find. My kids & I will definitely be back to this spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Kimberley Riverside Campground! There was an inground pool, mini golf and the bathrooms were spotless. The town of Kimberley has lots of amenities and is very quaint. The trails for hiking and biking are spectacular. The Whitewater kayaking is also very fun. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
