Probably I am biased because I am a Filipino but dang! This grocery is so clean and the people are quite friendly, talking about Filipino hospitality. The food is also yummy!! Down side perhaps you cannot use credit card, only debit or cash.

A Filipino grocery superstore. Located at a very prime Scarborough location, this superstore is specious, well organized, and super clean. This well maintained store has many Philippinno and Asian food and grocery items, household and beauty products. Food court, which includes Noodle City, Crispy Town, and Grill City, serves Filipino dishes and delicacies, and also has nice sitting arrangements. There are also street food vendors inside. Seafood Section is rich with ethnic fresh fish and meats. Stuffs are helpful and friendly. Price is in the upper range compared to other traditional and Asian grocers in the neighborhood. Filipino Town for a wonderful shopping experience.

Very spacious and colourful grocery store with various Filipino and Asian food items.

At the very front of the entrance, they have a Christmas tree which signifies how we start celebrating Christmas once it become September, it was a really nice addition to the grocery store.

There are a variety of hot-food items and street food vendors, household and beauty products located inside the store.

Currently at the store, they have a promotion where when you purchase something, you get a $1 coupon off their signature Halo-Halo drink

Just opened last week. I've heard it's quite busy on the weekends with lines to get in due to COVID19 capacity restrictions however we went on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. The lady helping us at the cash register advised us that there is an online reservation system in case we wanted to avoid the lines in the future. Now the store itself, I haven't come across a Seafood City location before and it's quite nice. There's a good balance in there are many cooked food options, the grill is just to the right after entry which has many staples of Filipino cuisine. Some I didn't know were foods that were part of the cuisine however eager to try. The next area moving counter-clockwise is an area called Crispy town that has many different fried foods from calimari, to pork rinds and many more. Moving on next to that is Noodle street where you can order different kinds of noodle dishes from soup to soup-less. This cooked food area surrounds the produce section as well as some Filipino desserts dotted along the front near the entrance. The rear and left most area of the store is where most of the frozen goods are kept. The area to the left has many fish options which can be hand picked, then requested to be cleaned and gutted for cooking. There are also in this meat market area chicken, beef and pork in various cuts where you'll need to request a ticket for assistance from the staff as like most supermarkets.
And all in between this is aisles on aisles of varying goods from everyday cooking essentials to snacks. I took a few photos to illustrate this. What even surprised me was an area that appeared to cater to "Balikbayan" boxes with boxes and packing materials. I think there is a bakery area that is to open too but not until March. Last thing to note as I haven't seen this in any other store before is staff members walking around to advise of social distancing due to the COVID19 pandemic, nice touch. All in all great experience and will visit again soon.

This place is amazing!

They had us hand sanitize before walking in. The place was was spotless and had good decor on the wall. The best part though is their restaurants on the side. Great selection of food. Well worth a stop in.

If you love Filipino food you will love this place, my wife who is Filipino was literally jumping up and down when she walked into the store she could hardly contain herself, from grill city to crispy city to all the different types of seafood and all in between this place has it all except for the Jollibee that the Mississauga Seafood city has.

Good place for Filipino groceries.

2021-04-10: You guys should get your electrical issues fixed so you don't have to rely on that diesel generator outside. Exhaust gases could be pulled in through the kitchen makeup air intake and distributed to the kitchen and customer areas. CO is dangerous.

2021-04-17: Generator still there. Deflectors are up.

2023-04-18: In case it's not obvious, these generators are no longer here.

We used to travel all the way to Mississauga but now with this store closer to us definitely we'll drop by more often. So many choices of food to choose from the restaurants as usual and wide variety of Philippine grocery items.

I love Seafood City! Not sure if you guys know this but this location (maybe all), have a fish cleaning and frying service! You can choose a fish of your choice, bring it to the counter, grab a ticket and they will gut the fish for you and fry it to your liking! I requested crispy so it would be extra deep fried! I also chose tilapia because it's about $6 and change for one whole fish.

You can do your groceries and come back and your fish will be fried and ready for pickup! Go home with groceries and a meal ready, now that's the dream.

I also love Seafood city for the bakery that's attached and the amazing food court. I especially love grill city. Prices have gone up, but I feel like Seafood City is like an Asian grocery version of Disneyland. You can watch your skewers being freshly grilled through a large clear window and choose your dishes cafeteria style. They have different combos you can choose from!

The grocery itself is a bit on the pricier end for sure compared to other grocers, but you are getting a lot of imported Filipino items that you can't get at smaller specialty store. Seafood City is the big boys of Filipino groceries, so if you need specific cuts of meat for Filipino dishes, Filipino snacks, etc, here is where you get it!
