Plank Road Market

Finding a good independent grocery store is hard, but when I found this one, I knew it would be my new go-to. They make great cold-cut sandwiches. The price was very reasonable for the size of the sandwich. Also, I really like the people who own it. I love interacting with them because they are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic neighborhood market with variety of deli meat, fresh bread, produce, Italian dry goods, sauce, flat bread, organic items and even fresh meat corner. They even have Korean sauces snd kimchi!
I did not realize the variety of selections they have until I walked in.

I do all my grocery shopping here. There’s a meat counter as well as a cheese counter. You can get a sandwich made here. Lots of interesting pasta. You can get turkeys for the holidays. I spend way less here than when I was shopping in a big grocery chain store. The couple who own the place are the nicest people ever! An absolute pleasure to shop here!

Great wraps and sandwiches from oven fresh rolls every day, and superb choice of fresh greens all the time. Add to this the charming feel of the place and the really friendly folks behind the counter, so I always enjoy coming back!

Everything in this delicious Father's Day picnic submarine sandwich came fresh from Plank Road Market - the ham, salami, and cheddar cheese slices, the lettuce and tomatoes, and the yummy bun - a great picnic treat!

I absolutely love plank. I’ve been coming here since I was 13 and on my school lunch breaks for their deliciously fresh sandwiches (I still bump into my old teachers here too)!

The owners and their family are the sweetest, and I’ve never spent more than $6.50 here for a loaded sandwich and a drink!

Aside from their yummy sandwiches though, their produce is always fresh and priced better than/comparable to the big box stores. They also have a great selection of Italian foods, local/important fresh cheeses and deli meats, as well as a small fresh meat counter.

Also wanted to add that anytime I’m going for a picnic I always come by here to get sandwiches, antipasti, fresh figs (which are to die for) and other fresh fruits!

All in all, I highly encourage anyone in the area to visit! Thank you for so many years of great service and delicious food Plank Road Market!

I absolutely love this place. They always have the freshest groceries, best and cheapest sandwiches, and overall are just amazing honestly. The family who runs it are all super friendly and amazing, the store itself is very affordable. Ive been getting sandwiches from this place since I was in elementary school for reference. So happy for this lovely neighbourhood spot!

A tiny little gourmet shop with friendly staff. We are regulars coming back for the deli counter, house hamburgers, veggies, home made wraps, biscotties.

I didn't want to cook and decided to treat myself to a sandwich from Plank Road Market. It was worth the hype and the reviews were right! Fresh, delicious, and didn't hurt the wallet.

I went towards the end of the day, so they only had 1 choice of bread and I was worried it'd be hard...it was soft and chewy. Thank you for the tasty and filling sandwich!

Great little food shop with a good selection of quality food. Lots of premium imported Italian food like tomato sauce, olive oils pasta, and rice for risotto. Butcher section with premade meatballs and burgers Nd different cuts of meats. Selection of good quality produce and fresh breads. Nice staff and close to the subway. Overall great little shops with a nice selection of food!

One of the best independent grocery stores.

Fantastic family run market with excellent house made sausages, hamburgers and meatballs. They also have a great variety of cheese and the fresh made sandwiches on bakery rolls are a great deal. The service is always super friendly, they know everyone by name. Truly a charming local market.

Lovely owners pack quality goods into this small store. It has everything you need, and treats too. They will make you a sandwich, or you can get all the ingredients for a dinner party or a dollars worth of cilantro. Amazing little store.

Good sandwiches for not a lot of money. Amazing selection of premium grocery. My go-to when im too lazy to make a lunch sandwich and I only want to spend $5.

Gourmet products and produce. Great selection to make Italian food, including charcuterie, cheese and truffle sauces. Beautiful and appetizing layout. Excellent and friendly service. Great sandwiches.

My favorite local Gem. If you want fresh produce and baked goods it is the place to go. The family that owns the place are incredibly nice. They have huge sandwiches for $3.50 and they are amazing

Dont let the size of this store fool you. There is alot of great food in this store. But the pricing is moderate to expensive. Nice selection of cold cuts. Will visit again when in that part of the city.
