Living up to the expectations! All year round they show classic/critically acclaimed movies from all around the world!

One can take membership for TIFF and utilize the advantages( up to 2 free tickets per year, early access to special screenings, ticket discounts etc).

The premise also has replica of dresses from famous movies. Don't miss this!

Nice and modern movie theatre.
6-7 screens showing all sorts of movie-house and Indy films along with the blockbusters.
Seats were comfortable, but a bit tight.
All seats have great sight lines.
Concessions were fairly quick
Popcorn was quite good.
Alcohol can be purchased….beer and wine for sure…not sure about spirits.
Parked in the underground of the building…not too expensive on a Thursday.

This is place for genuine movie buff. Although I visited this place to attend a cryptography conference. I just liked the place very much. This the place for true art and culture. Toronto is know for its multi cultural attitude and TIFF is a true depiction of this.

Amazing place for all movie lovers to gather ! TIFF has a long history in cinema and you can feel it inside from the various displays and decorations. The theaters themselves are very nice and spacious, although I do wish the seat rows and numbers were marked a bit more clearly, especially in the dark for those who enter late. You'll have people waving flashlights around at the beginning of movies for the stragglers who are coming in a few minutes late. Ticket prices are reasonable for Canadian standards and all those under 25 get the membership for free. Must visit !

TIFF is a great place to be introduced to new voices, films, and perspectives. It plays host to many local film festivals and screenings.

Facilities are clean and the theatre seats are comfortable. Many places to sit and relax. They also have some restaurants, cafes, and a concession stand.

I encourage locals to Toronto and visitors to explore this space, be inspired, and learn something new.

The Lightbox is always reliable for a selection of international films you probably won't see anywhere else. The staff are friendly and helpful. Admission prices are reasonable, especially with a membership. The building is fun to explore, with a gift shop and restaurants on multiple floors. Movie posters and prop displays show a respect for film history, particularly domestic. The washrooms can be a bit inaccessible or difficult to find if you're unfamiliar. But overall it's a great theater for regular attendance or as a destination for a special event.

One of the absolute best movie watching experiences I've ever had! The seats are so comfortable and the sound is absolutely perfect!! It's going to be hard for me to watch a movie anywhere else now. The shop is also amazing especially if you're a movie lover, this is the place for you! Will be recommending to everyone visiting Toronto

Definitely a step up in viewing experience than most Cineplexes. Picture are noticeably sharper and higher contrast. Dialogue is crisp and base isn't over blown.

Our favorite bolt hole for cinema going. We especially love the special screenings, old movies, 70mm...but new movies too. The chairs are comfortable and the food and drink choices are as good as Cineplex. Less crowds and a wider choice of movies...we love it.

First time here - what an enjoyably refreshing experience. The screens may not be the fanciest or biggest and the theatres may not be the most eye-appealing, but the raw movie experience more than made up for it.

The theatres are so acoustically designed we were blown away by the quality of the sound. We thought people were talking around us during the movie, but it turns out it was just the movie itself. The smaller screen (compared to bigger establishments) didn't make that much of a difference, and you are able to focus a lot more rather than constantly dotting your eyes around the screen.

Seats could use improvement, and they're pretty close together, but again it's part of the experience. Popcorn was literally better than any other movie popcorn I've had as well.

Would definitely visit again and recommend, and it's such a gem that smaller movies get their deserved spotlight.

Best movie theater in Toronto. Excellent layout and very comfortable seats. Staff is polite, snack prices aren't bad (especially for members), sound quality is great and they constantly get unique releases that don't play at other theaters. The best part is you don't get 20 mins of car ads before every movie like at every Cineplex
