Imagine Cinemas Market Square

Visited this theatre for the first time recently and was impressed by the price, service and seat options. Truly a hidden gem right in the downtown core. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the seats were big, comfy, leather and reclined for a comfortable viewing. The theatres are on the small side, but this makes for a more intimate experience. Will definitely be back to support and would recommend for anyone looking for a casual date night or theatre night out!

Went for the first time today. Very comfortable reclining seats. I found the overall experience here preferable to Cineplex and the other big chains. I will be back.

P.S. The button to adjust your seat is illuminated and located under your right arm rest.

Best spot in the city for full recliners, my goto spot for 3 hour long movies. Popcorn is kinda mid, I think they need a one size up larger bag. Same with the drinks - gotta get on the cineplex level just order some bigger ones and charge more I’d be happy to pay the difference.

This place rocks the theatres are small but the reclining chairs are amazing!!! I will never go back to a regular / bigger theatre again! It looks a little weird and dated when you get there but it’s awesome once you get settled into the leather reclining chairs.

The reclining seats are soft and amazing. The cinema also looks very retro. The buying of tickets online is also a seamless process

A great theatre experience. Amazing standards. Although not many people were there, possibly due to weekday, the theatre was well kept, clean and with needed amenities. The washroom was actually cleaner than the big name.

This is the coolest cinema I’ve been too. From the outside it looks like an old place but on the inside, the cinema rooms are just amazing, feels like your inside your own cinema room. You get a big seat with a great space between rows and you can lay down the entire session.
The ticket price is 14.5$ for an adult and on Tuesdays it’s 9$.
This will certainly be the spot I’ll be coming to watch a movie from now on.

But enjoyment wasn’t affected especially seating in the reclining seats.

A terrific local theatre that has the best seating - big leather recliners so that you can elevate your feet. You can't beat cheap Tuesday when all seats are $8. Support this neighborhood gem! 🍿

Absolutely a cozy and unique cinema in downtown. You pay $12,00 (adult) for a ticket that's worth it - the seats are super comfortable, the screen and sound system are great. They often have some alternative movies and the classics are always on display. The interior has this nostalgic vibe - the corridors remind me of the movie The Shining

Truly a hidden gem movie theatre. The decore takes you back to the early 2000’s and the snacks are so affordable. My favourite theatre in Toronto!

Lower prices than other theatres, conveniently located near transit and parking, friendly staff, and recliner seats! Love this retro spot.

I love the smaller, intimate theatre, with the best feature being the lazy boy chairs, raising your feet up and relaxing in real comfort.

Best theatre in the city! Every theatre has recliner chairs that are super comfy. So much better than the VIP Cineplex theatres, and it's cheaper too.

Probably the best theatre ever. Though unfortunately, they are a lot more limited with the amount of movies they show. Still though, it is really comfortable to watch movies there!
