Masjid Al-Farooq

Farooq Mosque is an impressive and striking sanctuary located in the heart of the city. This mosque embodies the essence of Islamic architecture with its grand arches, intricate designs, and stunning calligraphy. From the moment I entered the mosque, I was taken aback by its sheer size and magnificence. The spaciousness of the place is breathtaking and it allows the congregation to connect with their faith in a peaceful and serene environment.

The mosque has an impressive library where anyone can learn and educate themselves about the Islamic faith. The caretakers and staff of the Farooq Mosque are friendly, welcoming and were happy to give me a tour of the mosque. I was able to witness Muslims in prayer, listen to the beautiful recitation of the Quran and learn prayers and verses that are significant to the Islamic faith.

As a traveler, I felt at home at the Farooq Mosque. I found solace in its quiet corners to reflect, pray or just simply admire the intricate designs and architectural beauty. The overall experience was amazing, and I highly recommend anyone visiting the city to come and see the Farooq Mosque for themselves. The mosque was immaculate, peaceful, and inspiring. I give it a well-deserved 5 stars out of 5.

Alhamdollila it's a blessing for us to have Masjid Farooq in our neighborhood. It's very clean, calm and quiet. There is no politics in management. All the Imam are well educated.

Amazing place to relive your stress and feel peaceful. The good thing is that the speaker who delivers friday sermons explains everything in a simple manner that even a 5 years old can understand the message of god

The biggest, the best, the cleanest, and the most convenient Mosque in Mississauga.

It is located in a very attractive location. On Eglinton Avenue West, close to the Heartland, Adonis supermarket, Winston Churchill, and Mississauga Road.

The Imam’s recitation is really nice and the mosque is always busy and crowded, especially on Friday prayers and Eid.

There is extra worship space in the basement.

The washrooms are very clean and the parking is huge.

Beautiful mosque, amazing staff, very knowledgeable imam, atmosphere is always friendly and welcome. Feels very nice to pray here. May this mosque stand till the end of time.

Beautiful mosque. Under construction for the second phase. It gets crowded for the Jumma, so it's hard to find the parking. But street parking is available in that neighborhood.

Very good atmosphere, and with the expansion, it will be even better once it's complete.

This masjid is alive, and a joy to pray in. Because it is under construction it can be hard to find your way around, but that’s only because I was a visitor passing through. A very serious masjid that cares about living Islam and the muslims who share those values.

Beautiful mosque, I had just arrived the day before to Toronto, great community, I was surprised to see the mosque within zuhr salat. Masjid very organized Alhamdulilah. I love their extension plans, well needed for the community. They have a playground for kids, quran classes and etc. You name it they have it.

What a graceful place to visit once at least .carpeted halls for prayers .Ladies have separate hall for the prayer for their convenience and Privacy so they can offer their Prayers freely. Separate washrooms for Men and women.have high school and Islamic education as well.Management is great and caring and loving people .I know this place since 2007.They are expanding the mosque and School as well

The cleanest masjid I have visited in GTA. It's fairly new. The washroom and wudu area are spotless clean. Some areas still under construction. If you want to earn some good deeds, can generously contribute in the donation box.

Excellent outdoor accommodation in parking lot for Ramadan Isha/Taraweeh prayers. But you must park in nearby neighbourhoods as mosque parking fills up fast. There are attendants in nearby plazas giving out tickets so don't park there.

Well organized and good lactures. Best place to feel peace and to connect t Allah.

I highly appreciate their Friday Khutbas based on current issues. Flexible timings and beautiful recitation of Quran

Very beautiful mosque but opens only for Salah times

Probably the most well attended masjid in Mississauga for the five daily salawaat. Amazing community of Muslims who are very friendly and warm. There’s something about praying in a full masjid that gives off a different vibe than other masaajid for the regular salat.

Parking can be a challenge sometimes so I would advise on going early. The best spots are in the paved section on the east side of the masjid.

Well managed Masjid. Staff and volunteers quite helpful. I would like to suggest an improvement for placement of chairs in the prayer hall. I am from Pakistan and have a role in management of our locality’s Masjid. If the chairs are placed only on the left and right sides, as required two or three chairs on each side in every row, it gives the following benefits:
Easy and convenient access and exit for chair users. Much less disturbance for the Nimazi s.
Especially good to avoid passing in front of nimazi. Convenient for chair users to stack the folded chairs on side and pray regularly if they wish so.
Anyway this arrangement of chair placement offers flexibility and convenience. We have tried this arrangement in our Masjid and foud it much useful.

Another suggestion is that if the Main theme of Juma Khutba is provided in text on the website, it will help many who are interested to follow, benefit and keep record of man theme and spread it via social media.
