Order through Uber… however the PRODUCT!!!
First, it came in the cutest little box wrapped with a bow. It looked like a present.
PARIS BREST, ALMOND CROISSANTS & APPLE PIE TART were absolutely delightful.
Totally not what I was expecting, these pastries definitely surpassed my expectations.
It’s not even sweet it’s deliciously sultry.
100% RECOMMEND!!!

This was my first visit to Douce France, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the products were amazing. I bought the apple tart, the almond chocolate croissant and a variety of chocolates, all of which were exceptional. The pastry was perfect and the various ganache fillings of the chocolates were wonderful.
I highly recommend it!

My favorite gourmet French food specialty store in the Toronto area.

Located on the Danforth in the heart of Greektown is Douce France. This store carries imported French food ranging from jams, cookies, cheeses, butter and other food ingredients.

They also have fresh made pastries, sweets and chocolates, which are all very tasty.

Owner and staff always carry a smile and are happy to serve you.

For those that miss/reminisce the Paris small boutique shop vibe, then this shop is a must visit.

Popped by this little gem during Taste of the Danforth. Got a few of their baked goodies to try out and they were all fantastique! Tried out the lemon tartlet, coconut macaroon, and a slice of coconut cake. Authentic lemon and coconut flavours, especially love the texture of the coconut flakes. The staff were also very cordial and accommodating despite being visibly busy. 5/5, Je recommande fortement!

I love this place for fine French pastries and chocolates, they have really nice coffee as well to sit and eat in the back if you wish. It’s a bit pricy imo but everything is imported from France and handmade, its authentic so feels like a real treat. The staff is friendly, welcoming and I love that they speak French to me! A must try if your visiting the Danforth or want something yummy, very nice gift ideas as well.

Wanted to thank Christel and crew for a wonderful experience with my daughter’s 30th birthday French themed basket. The resulting present was full of scrumptious delicacies that reminded her of her time spent in Normandie. Everything was fresh and delicious! And their suggestions and item recommendations just added to the beauty of the gift. Thank you SO MUCH! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Douce France is not your typical Toronto patisserie. While others bake and make things here, Douce France chooses to import everything fresh from France. The result? Pastries that are indulgently buttery, croissants that are airily flaky, chocolates that are delicately refined and not overly sweet.

The main reason though I keep coming back here time and again is because, once the weather gets cold, Douce France starts offering one of my most favourite drinks in the whole world: Angelina's hot chocolate. Thick. Dense. Intense. It's easily the best hot chocolate in the city, no contest. Pricey, yes, but worth it's weight in gold. How do you say "heaven" in French?

Cristel is so engaging and friendly! There's a fairly good selection of pastries and sweets. The coffee is quite good, but we didn't stay too long to try much of their goodies. We look forward to this becoming one of our main stops...

Good selection of goodies from France. I have been wanting to buy Filt bags. I couldn’t find any in local stores, and I’m glad to find them at Douce France. I only wish they carry more colors. To make the order $150 for free shipping to Vancouver, I also bought some other stuff that I have never tried, including Jeannette madeleines. Surprisingly, they are pretty good. I emailed them about madeleine shelf life and got a reply within a day. Great customer service! I’ll be buying more. Shipping is faster than I thought.

I took my order to go and the lovely French lady (who actually created me with bonjour) wrapped it up so nicely! The tart was great and the shell was perfectly crisp without being too hard and the chocolate almond croissant was dense. Might be too dense for me personally but was still delicious.

A random french convenient store in the middle of greektown with large selection of products imported from France for purchase. Take your time to browse through the interesting products and you will likely find something you like to try out in your home kitchen for a wonderful meal.

Their coffee machine is made in Italy thou, not France =]

Yum Yum Yum

This adorable French cafe has a simple menu of quiches and cheese sandwiches that are very reasonably priced. The patio only sits 4 couples and inside isn’t much larger. The decor brings you to the streets of Paris. Everyone who works here has a French accent and it felt like we were on vacation!
We both had the Normandy Baguette with Brie which was simple, but delicious! The portion was exactly the right size!
For dessert (impossible to resist here), I had the lemon meringue tart which was incredible!
Hubby had the Brittany plate that came with wee tarts, cookies and caramels that were handcrafted then shipped to this shop.

My only complaint was that my iced Americano wasn’t very good and not something I’d try here again even if it was served in a wine glass which is super cute!

We will be back, for sure!

Douce France and its employees, and especially Christel, treat us, the customers, very responsibly. The products are always very fresh and unusually tasty. I am very grateful for their participation and delivery of French exquisite products.

The product from Douce France is amazing. I love the Edmond Fallot Dijon Mustard on sandwiches. I used the Mushroom and Summer Truffle Sauce in a pasta dish and it took it to the next level. I used Artichoke and Basil Pulp when making homemade pizza and . .. WOW !!! I will definately order from then again. GREAT FOOD!

The owner of this store stands behind every single one of her products and is incredibly helpful. These truffles are truly indulgent and delicious. We have also tried some of the French pastries from here in the past and they were also fresh decadent and tasty.

Hands down best creme brulee I've had. Huge fan of it. Lot of places just don't have or have very little vanilla beans, this place will not go cheap on you. They nailed it. First impression on it was "no sugar?" But they'll freshly caramelize it. Got my dish and noticed its not a thick layer of sugar like how it typically is. Tasted, I really enjoyed the actual flavour of creme brulee without tasting nothing but sugar. Their pastry is amazing. The French owner there is really sweet and will love to suggest you a great combo of tea to go with.

Lovely place! The next best thing to sipping coffee on Champs-Elysees (given you are on Yonge Street). Fresh croissants. Quiche was great too. Also a great place for quality sweet treats.

My wife has been searching for a Basil Dijon mustard from France ever since the store in Niagara-on-the-Lake that carried it permanently closed. I found a similar product offered at Douce France at a reasonable price with delivery. The product was delivered promptly and was well packaged. Unfortunately, my wife won't be able to sample the products until she finds them under the tree at Christmas time!

Lovely place with all products sourced from French artisans. Owner is very kind and always has time to explain and recommend something. It is apparent she loves the shop and it comes out in the quality and presentation.

I have ordered many things from Douce France for this holiday season and couldn't be happier. The quality and freshness of the products are amazing as usual, the prices are great and the delivery was so quick. I actually chose to get them shipped to my place, but got a call later from the owner to let me know that she would rather have them locally delivered in order to make sure they arrive in the best condition. As a native french living in Canada, it's nice to know there is a trusted place to get all my favourites sweets and more. I highly recommend Douce France to anyone who wants some of the best classics, from well known as well as artisanal producers. Thank you, Frederic.
