Terrace Bay Beach

Terrace Bay Beach is an incredible natural landscape of Superior sandy shoreline and fresh clear waters for the hearty swimmer. The town is currently constructing a boardwalk and working with Parks Canada to build a welcoming and more accessible pavilion and waterfront area for tourism. There are hiking trails and boat launches provided with docks for seaward visitors.

A very clean beach with ample sitting areas. Very quite, serene, and peaceful location on Lake Superior.

Great beach set up all around. Low key and open area....nice easy boardwalk for a stroll. Plenty of parking, and sitting areas.
Clear water and lots of sandy areas to take up some space and chill. Building has public washrooms and there is a boat launch there as well.

Beautiful place to visit. Nice tiny pebble shore and beautiful golf course. Definitely worth the trip

The Terrace Bay Beach was a gorgeous stop with clean, sandy beaches, an elevated walkway and plenty of parking. The day was windy and produced small white-capped waves which makes soothing white noise that would be great for meditation.

The beach is a short drive from Highway 17 and the road is paved and well-travelled.

A nice little beach right at the edge of town. There is amble parking and many people camp there overnight as they are passing through.

If you do plan on camping, remember there are no services or power. There are a couple of decent outhouses.

Make sure you checkout the beautiful waterfall right there. It's fantastic.

It’s a beautiful place. Please check the weather before going. We went on a rainy day. If you have boats,kayak,canoe and paddle boat it’s good place to be.

It is definitely a good place to rest during the trip.

What an incredible job the Township of Terrace Bay did with the beautiful boardwalk and the visitor centre, and of course the falls and Lake Superior speak for themselves. Just gorgeous.

Lovely long beach, clean, small waterfall, lots of space to relax, walk dog, fish, short boardwalk, volleyball net, access to trails, parked for overnight, quiet night. Toilet closed at evening. I came at evening , only couple of ppl there.

Beautiful beach with an amazing view!!

Very tranquil place for a lunchtime visit. Ample parking. Lots of sand for young ones to play in. Boardwalk makes for easy stroll with bench and chairs to soak in the surroundings.
