Exterior Finishing

I just had Exterior Finishing replace the siding, facia, soffit, eves trough, main door and storm door on my house. I cannot say enough about Randy and his crews. They were very professional, talented and a pleasure to have at my property every day. Randy was up front about issues they came across and what it would cost to make it right. His crew members consulted me regularly when there was a choice to make. They showed up on time, worked a full day and cleaned up at the end of every day. I will definitely recommend Exterior Finishing to anyone who want work done on their home. Thank you Randy and all the guys who made my Renovations a pleasant experience.

Have hired this company a few different times. Had my front door replaced. Had them replace a bay window in my kitchen with a big box bay window. Also had them add a window to my dining room. Dealing with Ken was great. He had to put up with me changing my mind a couple of times. A man named Don did all the jobs at our home and he was terrific. What an eye for detail. I have hired them again to put in a new patio door this year. This company has been so great.

Allan was a project manager for my recent kitchen Reno. He was fantastic! All contractors were organized well and did a great job. He was always around or able to be reached with any questions and kept me in the loop at all times. Thank you Allan, I’m so happy with the finished product😀

I have had them do work before on our old house and the work was fine. Rebooked them for a small job on our new house and was suggested about 2 weeks before they were able to come. Two weeks later they said it would be approximately two to three weeks more. Nobody informed me of the change without me calling to ask why I never received a time frame. I just wish they were more upfront as we all have schedules. They lose a star because of that. Still waiting. Arggg!

Had work done on my residence , a few pieces of loose and hail damaged siding replaced , My bad not stipulating that in the contract that I signed that only one man at $85 an hour would do the work ,as I was led to believe by the estimator, he estimated 2-3 hours for one man. Two men showed up and the rate was now $170 and hour. They did good work but painfully slow . 1.5 hrs. to remove and replace 2 pieces of jay trim and 6 pieces of siding, this with two of them working on the same area. Another 1.5 hrs to replace 5 pieces of damaged siding in other areas. In short make sure you know what the cost will be before signing and how many men they will be sending and get it written in the contract . I am really glad that they didn't send 4 guys.All material was supplied by myself and on the bill they tried to even bill me for a roll of tuk tape I supplied and the workman kept!!

Made an appointment for 10am, received a confirmation. At 10 no one showed up. After another follow up, they promised to arrive asap and never showed up! This is terrible. Took a day off work specifically for this and didn’t even receive a courtesy follow up to say they were not coming!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Exterior Finishing. Rather than bore you with all the details, I will say that their communication (or lack of it) is appalling. We called them to fix a specific problem. They did work that didn't fix it, nor did it even improve it slightly. When we expressed concern, we were told that they'd be sending us to collections (even though the invoice was less than a week old at this point). We explained that we were not trying to get out of payment, but wanted to pay for the work we asked for and wanted to resolve the issue. It was more than a month of us repeatedly calling them, trying to resolve the issue, when they said they would just come back and remove the work done. A week later, we got a call saying the owner refused to remove it/fix it, and we just had to pay up. It wasn't a large amount and we are tired of dealing with the issue, so we'll pay but we're extremely unhappy and will make sure to explicitly not recommend them to anyone in our neighbourhood.
