My wife Sheri and I stayed on November 10th for 1 night and had a 5 course meal. Amazing hospitality!! The food is out of this world delicious! My taste buds were exploding with all the different flavours! Marcus and Debbie are excellent hosts. Making you feel like family. Accommodations in the log cabin ( Birch) was soon cozy. The comfort and ambiance are second to none. With wood burning 🔥 stove to the spacious jacuzzi. Impressive beyond belief! Can't wait to come back again! Thank you

Each course of dinner continuously exceeded my expectations. I have had the pleasure of dining in many fancy places, and the food as Rose Valley was up there on my list of places to go to again. We loved the quaint "homey" atmosphere, and the accommodations in a private cabin topped off our stay.

We have been 3 times now and highly recommend Rose Valley. The food, experience, and atmosphere are wonderful.

An absolute amazing excursion awaits you in this part or paradise. A great cabin with wood stove and jacuzzi. No wifi so you get to BE with the one you love. The meal...fabulous not one part of the 5 course meal was over looked. Everything was done amazingly. A fabulous breakfast to send you on your way the next morning. We will be back. I think there is different beauty out there each season

This was my first time coming to Rose Valley Lodge, I live in Minnesota, and I absolutely loved it. I would recommend it to anybody. The five course meal was amazing. The owner and his wife are very hospitable. Next time I’m staying in their lodge and eating there as well.

The food tastes so fresh that you can taste every ingredient.

The chef has taken time to pair the food with such wholesome ingredients that you can’t wait to taste what’s next.

With a 5 course meal you leave the place with a satisfied pallet and an experience you want to tell everyone what you just experienced.

The view is amazing with the green grass and wildlife and the antiques all over the farm. They offer an impressive wine menu. The best part is the first person to book picks the meal for every guest. If you haven’t already booked after reading this review, what are you waiting for?Trust me it’s worth it. Hidden gem of the north.

FYI it’s so quiet out there technology doesn’t work A++ so you can have a serene experience and conversation without having to answer your phone.

My husband and I just came back from an overnight stay at Rose Valley Lodge and everything was more than perfect. Our children had given this to us as a Christmas gift. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of Deborah and Markus. The 5 course meal was beyond excellent, the cabin was so quaint and the breakfast was so good! Highly recommend everyone to experience this little get away !

Truly one of the best places in Thunder Bay area to eat. You have to try this place. We go a few times a year, the food is reasonably priced and amazing. Marcus and Deb do an amazing job and you feel like family when your there. The food is always flawless and the cabins are great! Its our go to for anniversary's and special occasions.

We had a lovely time at Rose Valley! Deborah and Marcus were kind and hospitable hosts. The cottage was quaint with modern amenities (including a great jacuzzi bathtub). Everything was clean and we'll maintained. Oh and the hobby farm was a tonne of fun! Overall we HIGHLY recommend both the restaurant and the accommodations! Thanks for a great getaway!

We got married here and have had many meals. We're still pleasently surprised at the level of quality and service mixed with the feeling that you are visiting your favourite aunt and uncle for the weekend!

This is our second time here. We stayed for our anniversary about 4 years ago and loved everything about it. The cabin was very clean, neat, and quaint! The fireplace is a favourite! Now for the food...every spoonful was to die for. Enough said! We will be back for a third visit soon!!!

BEAUTIFUL Log cabin with a wood stove fire, jacuzzi tub, keurig, and all around cozy atmosphere. Many animals to go see, you can snow shoe or go for a hike or take a sauna. Great 5 course meal dinner (fresh bread, soup, salad, pasta, main course and dessert and you get a breakfast) in a beautifully decorated chalet style diner. Great host and service. We had an AMAZING time for just $260 a night.

We had family come out of town and I decided to take them here. This place is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend coming here. They let you play around on the main floor and there are gaming tables to play board games at. The 5 course dining meal was to die for. The chocolate souflee was not sweet but was outstanding. However it is very pricey. If you can afford to come here it will be worth it.

A fantastic place for a relaxing and delicious dinner. Makes you feel like you are at grandmas house for a 5 course dinner!
There is also a large assortment of cards and games to pass the time with your partner if you arrive early or care for some fun while you eat.
