For almost 10 months, I've been telling family and friends that Thunder Bay paramedics saved my life. In mid-June 2023, I had an emergency appendectomy. Throughout the entire experience, the paramedics proved skilled professionals and inspired so much confidence that I was never concerned or fearful about the state of my health. Thanks to the paramedics, I got to the hospital in relatively good shape and in good time for emergency surgery.

We've had a great experience and one very poor experience. The great experience included kind professionals that did a great job. The very poor experience included unkind and uncaring personnel who wouldn't even give a Kleenex to my elderly mum to blow her nose. They were either very tired or they just didn't like their jobs.
AMENDED..... On September 22nd, 2019 a female paramedic saved my mums life. My mums heart failed and the paramedic acted quickly by giving her lifestaving CPR. I gave her a hug but how do you repay such a gift? Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Mum is alive and well.
