This bakery is awesome! Getting authentic Icelandic baked goods in this part of the world is a special treat that should not be missed if you are in the area. The owner is a great guy, pleasant to chat with.

Phenomenal little bakery: from the moment you walk in the owner warmly greets you and makes you feel at home. Everything I have tasted was amazing. Loved the place so much I returned a week later (from Brampton) with my mother. Her and I developed a love of Icelandic treats after a trip to Iceland. We're overjoyed to have found a place within a drive away to indulge in these goodies.

As I entered the bakery, a warm delicious aroma told me I was going to enjoy this experience. The owner/baker is very friendly and explained various bakery goods displayed. Breads are delicious, dense and nutritiously filling. Excellent when toasted! The Apple strudel....oh my!!! So delicious!! Best I have ever tasted! The Viking Bakery should be one of your favourite destinations for freshly baked, delicious treats.

What a wonderful bakery! We were greeted by the owner, what a wonderful man. We bought a variety of baked goods including the Rye bread absolutely delicious. We live in Port Dover so this will be a weekly stop for us for sure. 🤗🤗

I ordered a basket of baked goods for delivery and not only were the prices more than fair, the service and quality exceeded expectations. Birgir clearly takes pride in his products and reputation—customers can expect super friendly and responsive service. The recipient loved the pastries and bread.

Delicious pastries! They were so nice and accommodating I emailed from out of town and they were very quick to respond, and even delivered the pastries still warm to my father in law for his birthday! They made everything so easy and he was so happy.

As a half Scandinavian person, I've been lucky to try a lot of delicious baked goods from my family's heritage. I had heard rave reviews from word of mouth and finally visited The Viking Bakery this past weekend. It was worth the hour long drive 10 times over as soon as I took my two-box haul home for my Danish family to try. When my 90 year old grandfather said the vienerbrød was some of the best he had ever had and my mom passed over pie for a kleinur, I knew we would be back very soon. Thank you for bringing the best of Scandinavia to Southwestern Ontario!

Super friendly and helpful folks. The addictive oatmeal biscuits and cinnamon buns are vegan.. yay for me! Also, the mixed grain loaf is THE BEST. Get your fresh bread and sweet treats here... the owners deserve our patronage.

I love The Viking Bakery and visit regularly with friends and family. The coffee is very good and the pastries are wonderful! The owner and staff are friendly and help provide a comfortable and relaxing experience for patrons.

This is an amazing bakery you should try. The baker, who is also the owner, makes incredible Danish pastry and other great treats. It's worth a drive to Simcoe just to go there.

Unbelievable little place. The owner was so friendly and even gave us a free sample, and all (8) of the things I tried were phenomenal. Good atmosphere, great people, great food, no complaints. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in town.

Always great baked goods. The Vinarbraud is incredible as are the cinnamon buns and gingerbread cookies. Definitely a place to go in Simcoe.
