Yarmouth County Museum and Archives

Great appreciation to Nadine Gates(Museum Director) Lisette Gaudet(Archivist) Elizabeth Zavala Y-reach Settlement Navigator and East Link Community TV for your warm welcome and hospitality towards newcomers in Yarmouth. Friendly staff. Museum has some pretty great content for all ages and only costed $3 per person. Nice way to spent 30-40 minutes, especially if your from out of town.

Some really interesting finds here. An eclectic mix of Marine artifacts, oddities and antique everyday items. Check out the basket made from an armadillo!

Wonderful guided tour. Very interesting recommend anybody visiting Yarmouth to not miss

Wonderful place to spend a few hours. Great staff and volunteers. And keep an eye open for their programs.

Really great little museum for families visiting Yarmouth. Mastodon bones are a must see

Good history of area, along with artifacts snd they get you thinking about it too.

Such an interesting museum. Lots of artifacts and local pieces, mostly from maritime history. It has the old lighthouse lenses that are worth the price of admission in their own.

What a wonderful museum. I really enjoyed the rooms decorated in period time. A great place for all ages. Definitely worth a visit.

A fantastic place to visit, be prepared to spend min. 2 to 3 hrs. The rich history of Yarmouth and it's people is amazing . The artifacts are excellent and as well the staff.

This museum rivals museums in large cities. The information and displays are top notch, you will not be disappointed. The archives are priceless. This is worth a stop.

Interesting museum if you're interested in maritime history. Also a great place to do genealogical research. Staff is extrmely knowledgable and helpful.

Its been 9 years since I was here last and the expansions are wonderful! Great exhibits!
