We have been having our family reunions there at this park for Sixty years. Never had a problem there. Staff is always great and willing to help if we have a problem. Nice place to go.

We visited the park for a birthday party at one of the shelters. A day pass was $10 a car. There are lots of little playgrounds for the kids to play and really nice, clean bathrooms. We visited the big bend area and I kayaked with the kids in the Huron River from one side of the parking lot to the other as a test run. What a lovely river for paddling!

The meteo parks system is fantastic and the yearly pass is well worth the money! The walking/bike path is great, and connects through multiple parks. You can spend all day walking or biking and not cross the same spot twice. You can fish, there are pavilions and grills and tables, playgrounds. The park holds several events throughout the year that are fun, especially for kids as well as educational. The park has a golf course as well. I buy a pass every year and highly recommend if you live nearby you do too!

Great pool for families and kids. Nice, clean facilities. Everyone was friendly and enjoying themselves. It is $4 a person plus $10 to get in the metropark if you don't have the annual pass

Lovely summer day, about 74° but sunny. First time that I had a chance to see this park and the Huron river. Massive acreage yet well maintained. Great place for a bbq and picnic ☺

Love this area. The bike path is ideal — nearly no one on it, and uninterrupted by cars/intersections. Be wise about where you enter the bike path, though. The Metropark charges $10 at most entrances.

We were here for a cross country meet. Our spring has been slow so I sure it is much more beautiful once everything comes back to life. All in all, it seemed very well maintained and plenty to offer everyone, with trails and swimming and all that. Definitely worth an explore!

This place has one of the best disc gold courses in Michigan. So much variety in this course that it will challenge any disc golfer!

Always peaceful and not crowded during the week. I’ve been coming here since I was born. It’s one of my favorites. The end of Indian trail is my favorite section within the park but I also like walking from Indian trail through the cemetery to Big Ben. The cemetery is a nice hideaway from other areas when it’s busy at the park. The pond is pretty when it’s low or full. You can find thousands of shells when it’s low like now. Under the section with a lot of trees (can’t remember what it’s called but it’s closer to the southern exit) the shade is so relaxing and perfect for parties on the really hot days of summer. I’ve only sledded here a couple times but I like climbing to the top of the hill when I go walking. It’s great exercise! The paths here are almost all paved so it’s great for bike riding. You have to go to Oakwood for the foot paths. The fireworks are a huge hit every summer as well. There are several places to put a canoe or kayak in. Indian trail is one spot.

Wonderful, beautiful park! Lots of open space and big parking lots so we could park our camper for a couple of hours and hang out! Nice bathrooms and great idea to have hot coal barrels next to the bbqs.

Love getting my running miles in at this park. There are several bathrooms and drinking fountains along the almost 4 mile path. The park has alot of shaded areas and is very well maintained.

Nice pool for kids with slide and small splash areas for little ones. Not very deep but perfect for a worry free time when you have children.
Food trucks are over priced as expected. Great playground and nice park.

Well maintained park, lots of wide open space and miles of paved trails through wooded areas and along the banks of the Huron River. This park has a pool, refreshments stand and enclosed outdoor children's play areas at the main building.
