Tamasha

We made a reservation and came to Tamasha as a group of 4 on a weekend in the evening. We were seated right away, and at first, the restaurant wasn't too busy. When we got the menu, the waiter told us right away that it was happy hour so we could get drinks and apps for 1/2 the price. That was awesome. We wanted to try Tamasha for a while, so we ordered several apps: Tandoori Momos, Sigiri Chicken Tikka, Delhi Special Gol Gappa, and Kolkata street-style Chow mein. For mains, we shared a Mutton Rogan Gosht with white rice and a Butter Chicken with garlic naan (not pictured). The food was amazing, and unlike other Indian restaurants where the sauses all taste the same, each item had a unique flavour profile. All the food was delicious and the service was good. They got quite busy with deliveries coming through every 10 mins and more guests came to dine in. Yet the servers were very polite, and anything we asked for was fulfilled in a timely manner. Our food also came out in stages, so we had enough time to finish the first 2 apps before the next 2 came out. Our only regret was ordering the chow mein dish. It was super oily and had too much black pepper, not actual chow mein flavour. It was the only dish we couldn't finish.

This place gives perfect vibe of food with music and that would lead your feet on the dance floors. After 11 it is a gem of a place, people enjoy the food with every chance to dance. Great service and they would provide best recommendation for you.

I heard that this place is not that good but still somehow decided to dine-in yesterday. But it was totally opposite. Zohra was our server and being from the same industry I can say that she did a good job. Kind and polite staff, can't say the same thing about the bartender tho. Momos were commendable!! Would recommend and coming back as well. :)

We were finally able to visit restaurant. Our waitress PJ was very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious with a few unique twists on old favorites. I encourage you to give them a try. My only issue would be the music being way too loud, had to yell to sustain a conversation.

There are very few restaurant which checked all three boxes, first let me start with food.

Food: I have been there so many times and it’s my favorite to go place to party hard and I have never been disappointed.they have amazing food options to fulfill your taste buds and always up for adding new variety of food options.
Service: Deep and Zoya are outstanding host and they take care of you personally along with services, they modify and tailor your needs like no one else. You guys are rockstars.
Atmosphere: if you are Bollywood fan this is where your search ends for an outstanding mix of Bollywood thumka’s and Bhangra’s .
New picture added every visit to this restaurant is a new finding for me.

My experience at Tamasha was truly unforgettable, from the moment I stepped in until I left. I must applaud Ian, the gracious host, for his warm welcome and professionalism. He made us feel incredibly special as he guided us to our table.

Loved it. We organized a birthday party at tamasha. Staff was friendly and good. Food was awesome specially fried momos. We ordered paneer and Naan, Manchurian. Drinks were nicely served.

How's the Josh?
If you're not from India, you might not be familiar with this very popular bollywood movie dialogue. The meaning of this sentence is "how is the enthusiasm?" and I am not lying when I say my josh was pretty high when I decided to visit Tamasha after hearing about the place for MONTHS!
For those who don't know, this is a modern Indian restaurant located in the Yonge & Davisville area.
You'll be welcomed with snazzy bollywood music just as you enter and I've to say our server (Dikshant) went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the experience.
The cocktail that I ordered was called Gulaboo (very apt name) because it didn't just look pink but also had a very refreshing taste of Rooh Afza mixed with vodka. We tried their tandoori wings and this was extremely flavourful and balanced with the right amount of spicy and smokiness.
For main course, we had their dal makhni, chicken tikka masala and butter naan and we were very much impressed with the food quality and taste.
The food is not spicy so even if you're someone who loves trying Indian food minus the spice, definitely check out this place because they really know what they're servin'!

Hii, this restaurant is one of the best i have ever visited so far. Kabir served us and he is so helpful and good at his job. You should give it a shot

Ian was a very kind and polite host. He made me and my friends feel very welcome and ensured there was no delay in getting us seated at our table immediately. Overall had a wonderful experience, definitely recommend the food.

We came here after getting recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! We got the Butter Chicken Poutine, Tandoori Chicken Momo, Lamb Roganjosh, Garlic Naan and Roasted Papadum with Mango Lassi. We were able to pack leftovers as the serving size was very generous, and we received amazing service from Zoyaa! Overall, we had a great experience 😊

The environment is perfect with some songs . We were served by the server Gurmail he was so kind and generous he helped us with the food by suggesting us some good foods and drink that was delicious and the desert brownie with ice cream was cherry on the top. It will definitely will be my go to place .

We went for the Halloween Celebration with family. Their momos were nice. Paneer nachos was different but okay. Good portion. Good vibe. Service was also nice. The decor was amazing.

Amazing experience! Taken very good care by Kabir... and the drinks by Ansh were to die for!

Loved it! The food was amazing, specially the kulcha was one of the best I have ever had! The staff were very warm and welcoming. Our hostess Apoorva was lovely, she made sure our requests were considered. The whole experience was made even better by the awesome presentation. Would definitely recommend!

The food was amazing and the vibe there was incredible. If people are missing India or Bollywood Clubbing scenes, Tamasha is the place to be. Special mention to Ian for his hospitality. Would highly recommend.

Rhythm and Apoorva were excellent servers. They were constantly on their toes. The bartender across our table was doing an amazing job as well.
We enjoyed the live band, and were told that they have a live DJ perform after 11 pm.
Overall very happy with the quality of the restaurant and i would visit them again.

Amazing lounge and bar! Deep and Apurva are exceptional hosts! And always welcoming environment and top shelf drinks. Great vibe and DJ. I always look forward to going to Tamasha! Keep up the excellent work!

The Host Ian was very friendly and warm . He made sure that we were given the seats quickly without much wait . Overall the food , the vibe and the ambience was really good .. A must visit place .
