This place is amazing. They have been showing movies here since 1911. This theatre plays classics and always has the most amazing original posters. The popcorn is incredible and they even sell shirts that have the popcorn and drink mascots on them. I love watching classics here. I always look out for my favourites!

It was a nice cozy theatre. Smaller selection of films but the prices for everything is great. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to have a trip back in time without a time machine. It also has accessible seating for people who need it. The staff was friendly and very quick to accommodate. My hands were full and they quickly opened the door. Almost immediately after the movie was done they came quick to start cleaning up . The only downside is that sometimes tickets sell fast but it's worth the experience even if it's one time

My favourite iconic theater in Toronto! Filled with extremely passionate film enthusiasts and very community oriented. Such a warm and lovely atmosphere, reminds me of why I love Toronto.

Lovely place! Their film selection is excellent and the theatre in itself is cozy and comfy.

We were there for My Bloody Valentine! It was an awesome experience. Nathan Boon did a Q/A with the cast and Director. It’s an evening we won’t forget.
The theatre it’s self is such a wonderful place to see a movie. I love the fact that older movies play here like the killer tomatoes and mommy dearest. The price to see a movie is under $15. I recommend if your in the area stop by for a show! You won’t be disappointed.

Went to see ratatouille, was so surprised that the theatre is nearly full. Great atmosphere and selection of films!!
Highly recommend for a cute date, the stores nearby are all vintage shops with great vibes.

A community-oriented theatre with programming that neither caters to the lowest common denominator nor turns it's nose up at what is fun. A gem that deserves the consistent support of its neighborhood, it's city, and visiting movie lovers. Vive la Revue!

This is possibly my most favourite place in the city of Toronto. It feels like home every time I step in this theatre. It has that *magic* feel to it. I love going to Revue Cinema.

A fantastic neighbourhood cinema — they just don’t make them like this anymore. Features a small/medium-sized auditorium with a decent sized screen and cute snack bar with great snack/drink options. Highly recommend attending a screening here if you can!

Drunken cinema is definitely one of my faves, especially around Halloween!

Support your local theatre! These people really care about what they do, and you can feel it in every inch of this place. I immediately felt connected to the local community of film lovers when I sat down for their screening of Pieces (1982). Everyone should catch a show here.

This is my favorite place to go watch a movie in the city. From the awesome staff to the great programming. ( the different nights are so much fun. Like drunkn cinema, or stomp box to name just two) . Stuff sells out sometimes long before its screening date. So buy your tickets online in advance ( at leat a week or two before if possible). I run a business across the street and love to catch the late show after work. I bought a yearly membership. If you live close by or like to watch alot of movies it's totally worth doing. There is really so much to love about the revue cinema. We are truly lucky to have it here in toronto.

A neighbourhood gem! The Revue does such an amazing job with programming- there's always something in their monthly rotation for everyone. Their monthly events are a great example of how they turn movie-going into something more for the community- I'd highly recommend checking out Drunken Cinema for a high energy night, reminiscent of watching a movie in your friend's parents basement. Staff create amazing, custom movie trailers as well, so make sure you don't miss the previews.

The seating is spacious and they have such a great selection of movies. I've gone once where the subtitles didn't line up with the screen causing a whole part of a movie to be lost on me. Other than that, it's an excellent spot.

Attended the Japanese film (Aijo) series recently, the place is within easy reach of public transit and parking facilities are easily attainable around.

The staff have been welcoming and helpful, the host was pleasant and friendly. The audio had been great and the movie was wonderful.

While the seats were not the most comfortable, i felt welcome and accommodated, and for that i am content.

Best popcorn (WITH REAL BUTTER!!) in the city, great staff! Love the classic cinema feel, and the prices can't be beat. Who could ask for more? And don't forget the biodegradable straws!
They offer many kinds of beer, wine, and coolers. Nachos, popcorn and specialty chocolate make for great snacks, in comfortable chairs.

Best indie theatre in the city. Their programming is excellent, prices are reasonable and the locals are very committed which makes the viewing experience amazing. One particular highlight is their commitment to 90’s and 2000’s trashy films which is a nice touch.

I have nothing but love for this wonderful theatre. They play great stuff but also play local independent films too. I LOVE this place.

I've been here many times and my favourite screenings have always been the cult classics (e.g. Scream, The Lost Boys) because I get to experience everyone else hooting their favourite lines and hollering at the best scenes. I may not always be in on the joke, but the community is cute. Popcorn pops off too!

It’s really like a scene from that movie; Rebel without a cause! Watching movies at Revue is a very nice and local experience!
I enjoyed it and will go there again for sure!
