MUJI Yorkdale

We had a wonderful shopping experience here in this Muji location. We purchased around 20 hard file boxes for our office, and the staff went over and beyond to help us pack them in big cardboard boxes, run strips around them and even attach a handle for us to easily carry to our car. The store was busy but all the staff patiently work together to help us. Really appreciate with the thoughtfulness and kindness from the staff. Thank you.

I love MUJI! This is Japanese store. So many items are neat. Japanese stationery are the best!!! I love MUJI's pens. And also cosmetics, kitchen items and, organisation items and clothes are popular.

This MUJI store has a big location with lots of organized inventory with the standard stationary, cosmetic/beauty products, clothing and houseware in the back. The staff are not too invasive but are available to answer any questions you may have.

With COVID protocols in place, it doesn't seem like they're doing much in terms of filtering amount of people allowed inside. There are tester items (like stationary) placed in a separate bin for testing. There are also helpful markers in place to guide customers (not that they follow them). Otherwise, this store is pretty much consistent with the other MUJI chains in the GTA (like Toronto, Mississauga and Markham).

Obsessed with their stationary. A literal guilty pleasure. Love that you can get refills instead of having to purchase a whole new pen.

March 2024: We love ALL the stationary supplies this store offers. Their pens flow smoother than any I've tried; their storage containers are simple and sleek, their acrylic frames are streamlined and have a great finish. What's not to love!!
Muji has the most eclectic collection of household products and clothing. They'll even customize with embroidered letters or names or characters for $5.

I am such an avid fan of their stationary. Their notebooks, binders, and folders are great and affordable for students, with recycled material. I’ve been using their B5 notepad just for brain dumping, and just got their kraft weekly planner for organizing classes and schedules. Quality is good with a nice minimalist aesthetic.

Their pens are nice to write with and last a while, and their mechanical pencil is perfect for math classes or art/sketching.

Customer service is always polite and friendly at this location and checking out doesn’t take long. The store is bright and clean, and organized as well. I haven’t gotten a chance to check out their clothing and home items but will do on my next visit.

Love this store. It's super clean and staff are friendly. Always find something I need (or at least pretend I need) when I go in. Products are fairly priced and good quality.

Muji is a good store with consistent products and pricing.
I find the quality to be good for light everyday use. I've been Muji customer for ten years, any bowl or plate or storage unit I need replacing or adding I have been able to acquire with the same quality.

MUJI is a really good store. The items here are very good quality. I had bought some stationary items such as pens, pencils, pencil cases, and note books. In the beginning I thought the prices we a little steep. 2 dollars for a pen?!?!? For the average consumer I thought 2 dollars for a pen was too expensive. However after buying my pens I realized that it was worth every penny. The ink of the pen was really smooth and the over all aesthetic of the pen was 10/10. The led pencils that I bought were also very excellent, they felt very high quality in your hand due to the materials used to make them. Also, the pencils make it harder to break the led than normal. However, MUJI is not just known for their stationary, they have clothing, backpacks, furniture, and snacks. All of the items in this wonderful store share the same minimalistic style as the stationary. Overall a great experience and I will definately return for more.

purchased some accessories for my wife. overall process was smooth and staff were very helpful without being too aggressive. wish i could say the same for some other men's stores.

The staff in the store are very helpful. They show they care about the customers. I had 4 staff members asking me if I needed anything in the 15 minutes I was there, even though I was on the phone the entire time. They were super polite. They have a huge selection of things from stationary to Furniture to plates and clothes in storage units.

Excellent experience here and they have nice things and good quality. I go here randomly when u want some good quality stuff. Be sure to read labels and make sure it's Made in Japan if that's what your going for.

Amazing customer service! staff was very great and helpful. Very great customer service. I got a ordered a coat from the store and i'm so in love with it. Delivery was fast and on schedule. This particular store is one of the best i have ever come across. 10/10.

I love stationary, but clothing for those who live a health life style

Simple but customizable products! Like they say, their stuff isn't minimalist but more like, designed to fit neatly into your style no matter what it is. The stamping and embroidery stations definitely make it easy to put your own spin on things!

Walk in with discipline. Great place to shop for minimalist clothing (for everyone of all ages). Wait for the sales when considering purchasing furniture/bedding: pure wood and simple pieces that will last (better quality than Ikea), more expensive.
