Hairy T is an underrated gem in the gaming community. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm welcomes and smiles. The atmosphere is inviting, and everyone is incredibly nice and helpful, making you feel right at home. We were particularly impressed with Kevin, who runs the tournaments. His professionalism and smooth handling of events are commendable. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the scene, Hairy T is a place you'll want to visit.

Favourite place to play Magic the Gathering. Community is great. The staff are the best. This alone makes me want to go here more for buying cards rather than other game stores I've been to. Also a good selection of board games.

On the outskirts of uptown Toronto you'll find a mecca of gamers delight. Having driven pass the building 1000s of times i was surprised that the comic books in my time was replaced by a myriad of game cards and daily and weekly gamer's tournaments.
The Hairy Tarantula was founded by Leon in 1992 and grew like his interesting beard into a force that beckons adventurous minds that like to learn and challenge other gamers.
All of the staff that I meet were friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable.

When we visit my in laws in Toronto, we always make a stop by The Hairy Tarantula! The staff are friendly and amazing with my boys. Played our first Pokémon TCG card tournament here and had a blast! Thanks and see you again soon!!

Amazing, as always. The store is very different than it was from the downtown years, so if you're looking for used RPG books, I would try their eBay Store to see what they've got, then pop into the store to buy it from them in person to avoid shipping fees. The staff will also look up used titles from their inventory or check in the basement if you're looking for something specific.

I have shopped (and buylist) with the store multiple times and each time has been a positive experience. When an issue arose with a buylist a few months ago, the staff was quick to respond and provide solutions to the issue. Store's supply stock has been plentiful whenever I have browsed and shopped. I will be continuing to support the store.

Great store! Employees are always kind and welcoming. Great place to place card gamea and is not too noisy! Store is open 3 times a week for magic so it's a very nice location to play consistently!

Service here is really, really good. Very friendly staff. Large store with a big selection of cards and games. Prices are very fair and you can find some deals. Highly recommend!

A great place for tabletop card games, dungeons and dragons, various role-playing games, Warhammer, minis, painting supplies, board games, and comics. If you can think about a nerdy Fandom, they likely have it! They offer tournaments, lesson nights, Warhammer tables, and dnd for juniors and adults of all levels!

I've never been here physically (as i don't live in Toronto) but I've ordered online a few times now. Each time the manga has come quickly and well packaged!

Great store with a good mix of hobbies represented. Typical LGS stuff but with a nice aesthetic and friendly staff.

Amazing store. Everything you could need as a ttRPG hobbyist. Prices are fairly good, and the staff are pretty familiar with the product, especially the mainstream ones which they know inside and out

They are always very friendly and nice to my children - Ask for Calvin if you need help with Pokemon he knows alot!

Staff are very welcoming and co-operative. Online orders and buylists are ready pretty quickly but even if your order isn't ready they'll go out of their way to help you (it's probably annoying to do this but I just happened to be in the area and wanted to be time efficient).

I’ve always been treated incredibly well by the staff here. Came back in my first time in a year and a staff member remembered my name, and was holding an item I forgot for me this whole time.

Hairy Tarantula is an excellent cards, comics and games store. Their selection of Magic The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons product is impressive. Their prices are all very fair. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They also have a very good selection of toys and comics. I highly recommend their store.

I had my first mtg event here today and the store is AMAZING! They have everything you can imagine: MTG, Pokemon, Warhammer, Paints, Funk Pops, Books, Board Games... And the staff is super friendly and ready to help! I will come back for sure :).
