I got my nails done for the first time and I would have to say, it really was an amazing experience. The staffs were so nice and friendly amd very welcoming.

It’s been a while since I’ve written a Google Review but writing one for Gina and the Forest Nails & Spa on Sheppard & Yonge is a must!

Firstly, I had called three other spas in the area because I happened to be available last minute and while I understand that they may have been booked and I was taking a chance, two of those three were so unnecessarily rude in their responses. When I called Forest, the woman who answered the phone was so pleasant and even provided me with directions! Not only did Forest take me in last minute (I showed up 5 minutes after I called), turns out even though it was hard to hear me due to background noise, so they thought I asked for a pedicure, they still pivoted without issue and got me ready for a manicure without any problems.

The establishment is so clean, cute and refreshing. They took my jacket, set my bags down at my station and also offered me water — talk about making a fabulous first impression!

I was paired with Gina and wow, she is such a professional and so pleasant to work with. She was a fantastic conversationalist and was so thorough with her attention to detail. I haven’t had a manicure in over three years and yet she did a phenomenal job restoring my cuticles to a presentable state and took such care to make sure the gel manicure she was applying was perfectly set and to my liking. Followed by a hot towel and hand/lower arm massage.

I was enjoying myself so much that I asked if there was a chance to be squeezed in for a neck/upper back massage (they are running a promo and had it advertised along the different nail treatment areas). I expected the answer to be no but Gina made it work! She was also my masseuse and as if her care of my nails was not phenomenal enough, for 15 minutes I got a deep tissue massage that should have been worth at least twice of what they charge! She worked on my neck kinks, upper back spots of tension and even put in a little work on my upper arms. It was amazing; finished off with a hot towel — perfectly temperatured.

If you’re in the Sheppard & Yonge area, I cannot recommend Forest enough! They’ve got fantastic service, fair pricing and a skill level worth coming back for over and over!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I went for a pedicure yesterday, and I have also gone here in the past for pedicures as well as eyebrow waxing. It is always extremely clean, very nice service, and all of the prices are laid out perfectly so there is no confusion.

Yesterday, Min did a wonderful job on my toes. It was very relaxing, she was incredibly kind, and my toes have never looked better. Definitely might go to place! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I cannot say enough great things about this shop. I have been getting my nails done at Forest Nails for over 2 years now. I have had services done by many of the nail technicians and they have all been incredible - I leave happy every time. They sterilize their equipment, they take their time, and they all are SO detailed when shaping and prepping the nails. I highly recommend this place!

I've been going to this nail place for more than 3 years. Have had my nails done religiously for over 20 years so I'm pretty particular about my nail salon of choice. This place has many great technicians and might I say, total respect for the women in this industry. It is a back-breaking job and to do that all day and be smiley and nice to clients is not easy! I love asking for Li bc she just understands what I want to do and since I'm there to relax and yet pick another colour, Li just makes it easy and I always have a nice time. One time I broke a nail a day or two after my appointment and went back to get it fixed, she was so nice and pleasant about it and I was in and out really quickly.

My bf and I got mani pedis for my birthday and we had the best experience. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful and the staff were so nice! My nails are immaculate. The nail tech who I saw was Natalie. Highly recommend :)

I have been coming to Forest Nails since they opened in North York. I have always loved their service and have no complaints. Joanne, the owner has always been helpful and honest about nail designs I’ve wanted and what would look good on my hands! I have been an avid nail biter since I’ve been born and these ladies have helped me stop, making sure my nails were too beautiful to bite! I was just there again yesterday and got the prettiest design done and I’m so happy…thank u so much Forest Nails!

I changed my review and also my mind.I didn’t like my nails last time and they fixed it for me for free, also they showed me that the costumer is valuable for them . Manager kindly checked my nail in the end .
Very happy now. you can see my nails pictures . They did the bio gel on my nail and Shalak on top of it in natural shape.
I will go to rifle for sure and fully recommend.

Absolutely beautiful spa and service. I came for my wedding nail and they have done a phenomenon job. Exactly what I envisioned. Service is amazing, welcoming and accommodating. Needless to say that quality of nail is top notch. Highly recommend for all occasions. I definitely will revisit.

I’ve tried so many nail salons but no one could do my nails as perfect as Nicole did. She took her time to listen to my wishes and did exactly what I had in my mind (shape/thickness). She was also really patient and asked me with every step wether I liked it. This has become my favourite nail salon in Toronto, I will definitely go back and recommend you to do the same!

I just moved to NY and I'm so glad to find this place close to my place. Li's warm and friendly attitude created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel comfortable right away. Very nice service. The end result not only met but exceeded my expectations. Good place! 👍

I have been to this spa multiple times and I always get a perfect mani or pedi. The ladies there are so nice. The place is sparkling clean! The prices are very reasonable. I absolutely recommend 👌!!

It was such a pleasure experience overall 💅🩷💜. I've done bio-gel manicure & shellac pedicure which lasted for so long. Super friendly staff with amazing nail techniques!!! I would probably try waxing and massage next time 🤭

I visited here last Sunday. What a great experience. All staff were welcoming and friendly. The spa is clean and bright.
I had pedicure and manicure. One lady did my hands as the other did my feet, it was very relaxing. My nail polish is still undamaged after a week! I'm very impressed and can not wait to go back!

Been awhile I didn’t visit this salon coz of the pandemic. Came back today wt my daughter and we did shellac and biogel.Mary is so nice and sweet which I remember she does my nails more than a year ago.So glad she is still there.She did a very good job wt my nails.So wt Lina who did my daughter’s nails.Mary is soooo amazing.Koodos to her.👍

A great place to get a manicure! The staff are all very friendly and polite. They are organized, prepared and do an excellent job. There are so many colours to choose from and they always make sure you like your nails as they do them. Nina did an amazing job with my most recent manicure. Highly recommend coming to Forest Nails!
