I had Michael come out and do a great job at my home, installing an EV charger. I had several other companies come to my home for inspection and they gave me false upgrade quotes which did not need to be done, and the pathway from my electrical panel to the garage they could not figure out. Michael was able to figure out the best path within minutes, which was the route I was most happy with.
He was transparent, punctual, quick, efficient, and left me with no regrets. Answered all my questions and was getting my approval before doing anything. Do not hesitate to deal with!

Pro-Tek is one of the contractors responsible for installing EV chargers for Chevy. Their communication was excellent, the crew was punctual, and they performed their work commendably.

Given the location of our electrical panel and garage, it seemed likely that they would need to drill a hole in the ceiling to route the wiring. However, they displayed great consideration and found alternative solutions that avoided any ceiling drilling.

Recently, a government inspector also praised the quality of their work. I would totally recommend them to anyone seeking to install an EV charger in their home or for any other electrical projects.

On a side note though, it would be great if they could confirm the appointment one business day prior, as my appointment was made two weeks before, and I kept wondering if they will show up that day, lol

Hired Pro-Tek to do an electrical update to our newly purchased home in Ajax. Michael and Will came up against a number of unexpected complications but they showed amazing commitment to getting the job done, working tirelessly. I was very impressed with their work ethic. In the end, we had everything updated to our satisfaction and communication with Robert, the service manager was excellent throughout. The final price was very close to what was estimated, which surprised me given all the obstacles that came up. Great job guys, thanks.

I asked members of my community to help me find an electrician to complete some work when I purchased my new home. Robert and his team were highly recommended. We had aluminum wiring work completed, a surge protector installed, light fixtures installed in bedrooms as well as outdoor lights installed. Over the years, our office had occasional electrical issues and had several repairs done by other contractors. Although the work was satisfactory, none matched the value I received from Pro-Tek Electric.

Pro-Tek Electric helped us with three jobs. The largest of which was a service and panel upgrade, along with additional fixture installations and several cat6/5e terminations and outlets. Throughout all jobs, they were attentive, identified potential issues early, and were very responsive. Their work was well-organized and I could tell that their electricians took pride in their work. Overall I am very happy with the results. Robert was the key person I dealt with through each job.

Maybe they can handle smaller jobs but they have been a complete let down for our 30,000 sqft job. In the most critical moment for the project their owner is on vacation, the service area coordinator won't answer our calls and their on-site foreman didn't show up (and there was no replacement to manage their crew). We're loosing thousands of dollars a day entirely because of their inability to complete the job on time.

Totally unrealliable and they are really sweet talker so don't be fooled by that, their timelines are never met and they keep blaming the suppliers yet they forget to order materials. Seems they are hiring apprentice electrician and the job gets done at snail's pace or not it to standard.
