I would trust new egg just as much as amazon. Everything arrives on time or before. and they have no problem issuing a refund after a quick cancelation.

Recently got a damaged order, immediately filed a claim, and have gotten a resolution the same day with a full refund. I never really had any issues with orders until now, but they made sure to make it right. Unfortunate to see others negative experiences, but hopefully going forward, they get similar experiences like I did.

One of my shipping's got messed up and ended up somewhere else. As bad as this sounds it wasn't entirely their fault with was the shipping company's as well. I talked with a Newegg worker on live chat about my issue and how my order was late and wanted a refund. He was quick to reply and handle my problem and told me i will get an email as this is reviewed. I got my email the next 3 mins telling me that they were working on my claim to make sure there wasn't any fraud. 10/10 FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

It seems to me like the majority of these 1 star reviewers do not understand how shipping and warranties work.

Concerned you may need to cancel an order after it's been placed? STOP. Do your duty as a consumer and read the return policy. This is your responsibility. ALL companies that sell retail products have a return policy because most consumers just assume they can buy things and return them whenever they like without any problems and at the expense of the retailer.

Worried about what might happen if the product you ordered doesn't work when it arrives? STOP. Read the warranty information for the product you're ordering. Don't destroy the packaging when you're opening your product - you'll more than likely need if you experience problems that require shipping stuff back to Newegg.

Be responsible and do your duty as a consumer. Research what you're purchasing before buying it online and you won't have any problems. Read the return and warranty policies and everything should be transparent. Do these simple things and you won't have any unexpected surprises.

I've had nothing but great experiences ordering products from Newegg.

It's my first time ordering from Newegg for a Monitor... I ordered late June 6, 2021. The ETA was June 9 but I received it on June 8, 2021. So I received it less than 2 days from the time I ordered. I'm pretty happy with that. The monitor is also cheaper than other online sites as they are having a promotion. I got the monitor as expected without any issues. Great seller IMO.

The hate and knee-jerk reaction isn't deserved, many off these negative reviews were because of the GN debacle which actually made NewEgg become better. I had recently returned an item which I had made a mistake as I had 2 items side by side, anyways, NewEgg still made good on the return even tho they knew I was the one who messed up. I've been buying stuff on the regular when their price competes with big A over the past 15-20yrs and never had an issue with them.

Don't know why I'm seeing so many bad reviews. I've bought everything from cases to power supplies to cameras from Newegg and I've only had the best service. Pickup is always ready the same day if ordered in the morning, usually within an hour. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable; it's pleasant to actually be able to have a conversation with the staff and hear their opinions on products as they all seem to know them very well and clearly have an interest in what they sell. Even when I did get a damaged product once, the return was hassle free and I received a replacement within a week. Overall a wonderful company and the location itself has friendly staff. Also it's great to get to come in and see many popular products displayed. I got to try out some of the computers there and the VR as I was waiting for an order that wasn't ready once (I didn't even get the email to come in yet but i was picking something else up anyway so they had someone bring it out for me).

So in light of all the poor reviews for newegg, I have had no issues with newegg with items I've purchased from them over the years. Ordered some video cards on the 24th, received five days later. Granted that their warehouse isn't too far away from me (and wished I could still do pickup but that disappeared a while ago), items received in a very reasonable amount of time with Purolator (which is majority owned by Canada Post).

I am an owner of a small store in Pickering. Over the past 10 years I have purchased over 300 items from Newegg which included motherboards, cpu, hard drives, video cards, power supplies etc. and guess what. I have had zero (0) problems and have not had to file for a single RMA. I my Newegg experience I have only had probems (3) with Purolator their courier system. Purolator has delivered to the wrong address and in one case actually sent a Ryzen processor to British Columbia a round trip of almost 10,000 km when the actual distance to Pickering is only 20km. Accordingly, I suspect the problem may lie with the customer rather than the supplier. I will give you an anecdote. I used to sell floppy drives there are 20 in a box. I would use 10 in my own application and had zero problems. I would sell of the remaining 10 to walk in customers. Now out of the walk in customers about 50% would return and say the units were defective since the green/red power supply would stay on. I pointed out that this was caused by the data cable being installed backwards. They would counter by saying that they were experts in construction and I would then take the cable and reverse the orientation and voila the floppy drive would now work. Over the years I have had customers mount motherboards in the case without using the brass standoffs, I have had merchandise returned with bent or broken pins etc. After a number of years of this I made it a store policy that I would mount the cpus for customers and fire up each and every motherboard before it left my store. Again zero defects and now zero returns. Newegg runs a reputable business gives good prices and helped me with the Purolator mess when it came up. Just had to vent about all the complaints. Newegg gives good deals at good prices if you need handholding go to a local store or supplier and have them fire up the products before you leave. Yes you may pay a bit extra dealing retail but then both the customer and the supplier win. Sorry for the long rant. Joseph

Wow, so many bad reviews, what's wrong with those people? Most of them got stuff broken in shipping, that's not Newegg fault! There is also RMAs complaints. I once had a problem with a motherboard, they exchanged it, no question ask and no fees. Been using them for years, never had any problems. I buy from them because they are usually cheaper.

The center's a nice way to save money on shipping and get orders faster. There's even an area to try out some new tech. All the bad ratings are people's feelings towards the company or bad things that've happened to them. I don't think this is the place to review newegg as a company. You guys should put ratings relevant to the hybrid center itself, not to the company! Still, I've bought a whole pc from newegg and had no problems. Never tried buying used or refurbished stuff but I think this can be a problem for other companies too, not just newegg.

This review pertains to pick-up orders, which I often do because it's just a 5 minute drive from my workplace and is along my way home from work.

Been there many times, always greeted by the same friendly staff member, nothing rude or bad about their service here. I found it odd that they would spend the time to package ordered items that I'd pick up anyway and then cut it open for me to verify the contents... I said nothing of it, and after a few visits, I guess someone else addressed it and they offered to reseal the box.

The reviews seem mostly negative for other parts of their services, but honestly, pick up has been enjoyable for me so far that I'd get the itch to buy something at work some days just so I can pick it up on my way home.

There were one small issue with my order( sticker said something different from actual cpu in the box.... but it was not newegg fault. Overall they were quick and efficient at resolving the issue. I will definitely order again.

Ok, so if you want an honest review of newegg, this is it. Ever since I've discovered this place, this has been my #1 go to for electronics, canada computers #2. Now there are a lot of bad reviews, simply because people do not know how to navigate the site, or do not have enough experience with newegg.

Newegg is kind of like a middle man. They sell their OWN stuff which is SHIPPED AND SOLD by them, but they also have other marketplace sellers like patazon, mikescomputerstore, perixx to name a few. First of all, DO NOT BUY from patazon (explain later below). Second of all, newegg cannot sell all of its items listed on its website, so they have these marketplace sellers. To make this short, newegg shows these marketplace seller's items on its website, and these items are shipped by these marketplace sellers (patazon, mikescomputerstore, perixx, etc). Now everyone blaming newegg for exceeding long shipping times must have bought items from these marketplace sellers. From my own experience after buying about 10+ items ranging from computer parts (built my pc using parts from newegg), mice, laptop sleeves, software, and wireless earbuds, I have gone through a couple nuisances, but newegg has ALWAYS shipped within a couple of business days (max 5 maybe, definitely less). Now, I suspect that the bad reviews on newegg have bought from some of these bad marketplace sellers such as PATAZON.

Let me inform you on this horrible marketplace seller. I saw someone write a 1 star because they bought from patazon, and hopefully no one ever buys from them again here. I bought some wireless earbuds from them because it was cheaper than anywhere else, but that was a horrible mistake. This was the first time I was buying from a marketplace seller, and I did not know about marketplace sellers yet. I bought from patazon and a couple days later they say they have processed my order. I wait a week and now im confused, newegg usually ships really fast. I email the seller and I see patazon, i screwed up. Its not sold and shipped by newegg? Damnit. I email the seller and let them know I have not received my tracking number yet, and they get back to me in a couple of days with broken english (not a big problem). They say "sorry, blah blah blah, could you give us your tracking number?". EXCUSE ME? I'm asking you for the tracking number. Why would you ask your customer for the tracking number when I just asked you for it? I immediately refunded my item, wrote a bad review on the product and newegg responded to me personally saying sorry for the inconvenience. Always check the marketplace seller's reviews before buying and even after that, be cautious because they usually have their own return periods, or some kind of thing in fine print. I have rmaed items 3 times with them, all of them have successfully gone through with newegg.

ALWAYS BUY SOLD AND SHIPPED BY NEWEGG for best experience with this company. The shipping times are always (my experience) within a couple of days and if you need to rma something, it is a simple procedure. They also probably have the best customer service I've ever had even though I don't physically see anyone, just all through chats and emails. However, sometimes the chat can be horrendously slow for some odd reason. The pickup zone or the hybrid centre for newegg located at east beaver creek is a pickup zone, don't think you can buy anything there. However, they do have a bunch of computers and monitors setup like a very small bestbuy so you can play around with items.

All in all, this is the place for online shopping, even amazon can't beat their free shipping on select items. Amazon usually takes me about 4-5 days while newegg is usually within 1-3 days. If i wanted something immediately, I would go to canada computers though.

seriously . where do all these bad reviews come from ? I've been buying from neweeg now for 2 years and i never had any issues with a product , their costumer services was MUCH better than i ever had from amazon or Canada computer. This week is the first time on my life that i return an item , but it wasn't their fault , it was my own , i bought something incompatible for my pc , so its my fault i should have looked into it further , other than that Neweeg is an amazing company and i will keep buying from them in the next years to come.

I ordered hundreds of time from Newegg.ca since 2010 and never had a single bad experience. This is one of the best and most reputable online computer shop. They don't deserve all the negative reviews I am seeing here at all!
